 Life should never be cut short, it is too precious. This is a song that Cian Ducrot wrote in 2019 when his  best-friend had taken his life.He said it was one of the hardest songs he's had to write but this very emotional ballad has the ability to get under your skin.This guy proves once more that he is a great songwriter following the steps of Ed Sheeran or Lewis Capaldi when it comes to ballads.While his music profile is growing in the Uk my feeling is that this guy will go international at some point.For now his brand new single "Part Of Me" will prove me right.

 Metallica have now released their song "72 Seasons," the title track from the band's 72 Seasons album that arrives April 14."72 Seasons" of Metallica refer to the first 18 years of a person's life, according to singer-guitarist James Hetfield.So the 8 minutes in the track are pretty much needed and also if you do the maths 72/4 makes 18.As you can expect from the greatest metal band in the world the riffs are abundant, the composition is dynamic and basically it sounds like Metallica.Few more days for their 12th album in their career.

 After the global domination with David Guetta and "I m Good' Bebe Rexha released "Heart Wants What It Wants" which went on the trash even though it didn't deserve it.Now what makes her think that "Call On Me" will do better, god only knows.In a world with plenty dance pop singles and dance music in general only few survives and only under certain circumstances.Her brand new single "Call On Me' it's not a bad song for it's genre but if it has a hope is only in Europe cause in Usa these songs are almost excluded from radio play and only if they go viral on Tik Tok has some chances.Pop music can be hard from the top to downhills...

KYGO ft PAUL McCARTNEY & MICHAEL JACKSON - SAY SAY SAY

 This is a game that Kygo knows how to play it very well.That last time the Norwegian dj made a global hit was when he remixed Whitney Houston's version of "Higher Love".Remixing is his field while his own songs fail to chart for various reasons.Now this remix of the 1983 smash collab between Paul and Michael has been used for some months now by Kygo with the response being warm enough to release it as a single today.For us who lived the original release and grew up with "Say Say Say" storming the charts this reedition finds me ok but not thrilled.I can understand that he used the same recipe with "Higher Love" that is already tested and tried to bring this classic into the 20's but it feels a little awkward.No need to say that is always great to hear the two legends once more and feel that they might come back at the charts.

 If a dj remix is what it takes to introduce Everything But The Girl to the young audience then that's ok.Caause let's be honest kids don't know their legacy but they sure do know Four Tet.Djs now will have to playlist this remix and others that may come to spread the unmistakable electronic pop of one of pop's finest.Their first single from their upcoming new album after a big hiatus gets the electronic dance treatment that may bring the wanted interest in EBTG new music.Personally i have their first single in the original version on repeat since it has been released.

 This is a rap artist i really like.He blends hip hop with soul and RnB vibes making his rhymes really impressive.His latest single, part of an upcoming deluxe edition of "Call Me If You Get Lost" is called "Dogtooth".This comes as part of a handful of extra songs he’s releasing on a "Call Me..." deluxe edition and make no mistake....This guy has won twice the Grammy for best rap album and that is no coincidence.Overall, "Dogtooth" is a must-listen for any Tyler, The Creator fan, as well as anyone who appreciates this genre. Tyler continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in hip-hop, and "Dogtooth" is a testament to his talent and creativity.

 Artists like Florence, Freya Ridings and this newbie Paris Paloma are musical childrens of Kate Bush's music.In my mind i made this connection several times and i think many of you do.This song blew up on TikTok as usually happens and is being used to bring attention to female historical figures and women’s history, much of which has been undervalued by mainstream history.The song’s title "Labour" works on multiple levels, referencing the emotional, mental, and physical labor women have historically performed to maintain their marriages, as well as the myth of the non-working wife.I m really digging this one and hopefully TikTok will work his magic again on a song that otherwise would get noone's attention.

 I m not a fan of K-pop or BTS.But since i have a music blog sometimes i have to review things i m not into.That doesn't mean that i m not open and i always listen without prejudice.Since BTS announced their hiatus many members started solo career but none of them managed so far to create a huge success or a big hit.And i m not talking among the fans.Jimin one of the BTS members released his solo project called "Face".Among the multiple singles this album created "Like Crazy" is the number one trend but the single version didn't really impress me.On the other hand this deep house remix gives the song a very interesting aspect of pop dance purity.Jimin has disclosed that the inspiration for "Like Crazy" came from one of his favorite movies.Jimin has disclosed that the inspiration for "Like Crazy" came from one of his favorite movies.  Now tell me that the guitar riffs in the brand new Nothing But Thieves single doesn't sound like The Weekend's song "Sacrifice".Anyway everybody uses something from someone else so this comment was just my first impression of "Welcome To The DCC".The English rock band returns with their fourth album "Dead Club City" on July 7th."Welcome to the DCC" takes Nothing But Thieves to the dancefloor. The new track is easily their most pop and 80s influenced release to date and yet unmistakably their own.If you want something catchy for your playlist that grows with each play then this one is a must.

 I really like this girl very much.I really dont understand why Lana Del Rey is so loved around the world and Freya Ridings still remains so underrated.I know that music is subjective but this girl knows how to sing, can transform from "Weekends" to "Can I Jump" and feel the air with quality music.Fan anticipation for her eagerly awaited second album "Blood Orange" is once again heightened with her brand new single."Can I Jump" is indicative of the full-force, organic passion that shines throughout the "Blood Orange" album. It’s a song that’s as optimistic as it is euphoric, as Freya realises that making the big decision requires taking a leap of faith that everything will work out for the best.Hopefully it will for her as her album is going to be released on April 28th.

 As the days go by it seems that what it seemed obvious to me it might take a little time to happen.Switch Disco with Ella henderson on vocals have an obvious hit in their hands and one of the summer anthems this year but it isn't an instant hit as it should be especially in the Uk.Slow but steady it gains more and more airplay and the remixes are keep on coming right before the big names step in to lift off this banger.The "Children" sample is unmistakable and it works perfectly with this production.So it seems it will take some more time to happen but when it does it will take longer to forget.

 Pet Shop Boys will be releasing their first new music for two years with the four-track CD EP, “Lost”, which accompanies the 2023 edition of Pet Shop Boys “Annually" book, available in April.The four songs, "The lost room", "I will fall", "Skeletons in the closet" and "Kaputnik" were written and recorded as demos in London and Berlin in 2015 for potential inclusion on the album "Super" but weren’t included "not because we didn't like them," according to Neil Tennant, "but because they didn't fit the album." DEPECHE MODE - SOUL WITH ME

 I finally have my hands on "Memento Mori" and i managed to make a quick listen on it's entirety. I will start from this photo that is a tribute to Andy Fletcher (just look at the shadows).This is the best Depeche Mode album in years (goes back to Violator era) with many analog synths (like before) filling the atmosphere creating a no skip album in general.In few days i will have my red vinyl double album in my hands but for now i picked the only non David Gahan vocals cut. "Soul with Me" is a slow dance of shuffling drums, tremolo guitars, and elementary end-rhyme with Martin Gore's distinguished vocals bringing back memories of "Question Of Lust".Overall the electronic sadness and back to their roots "Memento Mori" will please their fans in general.

 I still have faith in today's music and the only thing that bothers me is the fact that good music is being left out from the charts.Almost 90 percent of great songs are not becoming hits due to various reasons although that the access today is unlimited.Such a great song is this one but i doubt if it will reach too many ears.LP Giobbi announced her highly-anticipated debut album, "Light Places set for release via on 12th May.So she dropped two new singles from her upcoming debut LP and the first one is the brilliant "If Love Is A Skill".This is a collaboration with indie-pop dance duo Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, aka Sofi Tukker.The result is a beautiful upbeat piano driven anthem with a haunting melody that acrobats between a French piano bistrot of the 50s and a jazz electronic session with Billie Holiday.This is pure dope...

 Pop headz love her for quite some time but all she needs is a big hit to get her through the next level.This song will appear on the upcoming motion picture soundtrack for "John Wick: Chapter 4", out March 24, which finds the singer making her big screen debut as Akira alongside the film’s leading man Keanu Reeves.I think that this aggresive style in her pop attitude really suits her and although songs from movies rarely become big chart hits these days "Eye For An Eye" is a cool addition to her exploding career.

 Just because some artists don't get the streaming advantage doesn't mean they don't have great music.And Everything But The Girl have proven over the years till now that they create grrrrreat music.And i say that because their first two singles from their long waited return failed to chart as if that was important.But since i follow the charts i want them to be with good songs and there are."Run A Red Light" is a smoldering ballad, with producer Ben Watt weaving buzzing synths and heavy kicks around a steady piano progression.The "Fuse" will be "burnt" on April 21 cause we will draw too much power from Everything But The Girl.

DEF LEPPARD & THE ROYAL PHILARMONIC ORCHESTRA - ANIMAL

 Rock music and orchestras had always a special bond and a unique combination.In the past we had great examples of this secret combination with Metallica, Scorpions or Aerosmith so now it's time for Def Leppard to take that step.Def Leppard have teamed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the collaborative album "Drastic Symphonies", arriving May 19th.The collection features 15 orchestral re-workings of some of Def Leppard’s most iconic tracks among others."Animal" is one of their trademarks released in 1987 from the "Hysteria" album and the result here is just an experience.I can't imagine how songs like "Love Bites" will sound with Royal Philarmonic Orchestra but i guess i ll have to wait a little bit more...

40 years ago we went under the moonlight put our red shoes and ever since never went out.When it comes to celebrate the 40th anniversary of David Bowie's "Let's Dance" i d expect to bring the best remixers around for the release of this Ep.Instead there is an awful Honey Dizon remix and this bearable by RQntz the Brazilian electronic producer.This iconic track created by the Nile Rodger's mastermind doesn't need a reimagine and if so i would expect someone like Purple Disco Machine who loves the 80s.Not everything needs a modern electronic production that actually insult the original...

 Taylor Swift is one of the few artists that managed to sell records and songs and get streamed at the same time.Not many have accomplished that in the 21st century and that's why she is the number one artist right now whether you like her or not.The "Eras Tour" begun last Friday and it's already sold out and as a gift Swift has presented us with four previously unreleased songs from her discography. Most of the attention is on "All of the Girls You Loved Before", a track that was initially recorded for 2019’s "Lover" album. It didn’t make the final cut on the album, however. The fact that the song was leaked a few weeks ago and subsequently did the rounds on Tiktok was probably not an insignificant factor in why Swift chose to release it now.And as you can all guess Taylor Swift is going once more high on the charts.Way you go girl..

 They are both very popular djs and have produced several hits.They became Endless Summer a moniker for releasing dance productions and this their second one after "Till The End" released last year.Now what everybody does, happens again by using as a sample a huge dance anthem from 1998 and that is Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone".The result is actually pretty basic although it will work if it's going to be used in any case."Crying On The Dancefloor" is an easy path and won't create chills.

 Youngsters probably don't know this beautiful lady that started her career in a girl band called The Go Gos with a number one single called "We Got The Beat" and then had a huge solo pop route in the 80's with number one hits like "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" or "I Get Weak" and so many more.And now she has returned with "Big Big Love" her first new pop single since 1997. This is another collaboration with legendary hitmaking songwriter Diane Warren  and it will appear on her upcoming EP, Kismet, out May 12th.Carlisle and Warren have a long history of working together after first collaborating on Carlisle’s seminal 1987 album, Heaven on Earth, featuring the classic title track.Now the intro is like "Blinding Lights" is about to start but no "Big Big Love" brings Belinda Carlisle in perfect form sounding like she did back then.If this song was part of a new Miley Cyrus release then the charts would be screaming about it.That's how life goes but i love Belinda.She is like family...

 Not only girls but David Guetta too....And his is a great player when it comes to dance remixes.Whoever gets a big hit Guetta will be there to remix it so the hype and the duration through the clubs will sustain the expiring date.Personally the reason that i like this song is the "Message" sample cause it's so emblematic like few rap songs made through the decades.So this dance version will be another weapon for djs and a sure choice this summer.

LEWIS CAPALDI - HOW I M FEELING NOW

 Lewis Capaldi's documentary will hopefully clear up any confusion about who Capaldi really is. The film follows the singer through the motions of creating his sophomore album, "Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent", set for release on May 19 and this is his brand new single from it that gave also the title to the documentry.Tune in for the doc on April 5 but if you re curious how his new single sound you are in the right place.This is a mid tempo guitar based track that builds up around some strings and connects directly to what Lewis Capaldi's music is all about.No surprises here but it's a nice song.

 Ella Henderson came a long way since her X Factor participation becoming one of the most succesful voices in dance productions in the Uk. On the other hand Regard blew up a couple of years ago with "Ride It" and a couple more super hits in his bio.It was just a matter of time for these two to release a new potential hit and "No Sleep" is the result.I think Regard had on his back of his mind "Insomnia" by Faithless when he was writing this one and you can notice it if you pay close attention."No Sleep" is a ready club banger and a radio ready dance pop tune.
