After a string of no so interesting releases by Kungs he returns in 2026 with a must hear disco anthem. KUNGS, DAVID GUETTA & IZZY BIZU - ALL NIGHT LONG (EXTENDED MIX)

 If you thought that interpolations or sampling are going to stop any time soon well think again.The 1984 Wish & Fonda Rae's "Touch Me (All Night Long)" became a huge hit in 1990 for Cathy Dennis.Since then few messed with this tune most known Bizzare Inc's "Playing With Knives" in 1991.Well things are about to change since French Kungs collaborates with David Guetta (busy man) and using Izzy Bizou's vocals for "All Night Long" a cover that will surelly draw attention in the dance scene.

 Wherever Purple Disco Machine appears for his live dj sets a huge crowd is pulsating to his beats due to the euphoric this man brings with his talent.The same happens with Kungs so their collab few months back was a highlight on the new releases.All of the sudden "Substitution" probably due to their live shows gets a massive attention finally making it one of the most trending songs this week.Now Kungs made a live remix edit which has just been released adding more to the hype so there is no "Substitution" in any dj set.

KUNGS & CARLITA - SHADOWS

 Kush after his collaboration with Purple Disco Machine continues to push the boundaries in electronic music with his new release "Shadows".This time he collaborates with Turkish artist and multi-instrumentalist, Carlita with the result being true to what Kungs is promoting with his productions.Although i really like Kungs "Shadows" is not his best release so far keeping it in a secondary rotation as far it concerns my taste.

 If Alphaville and Pet Shop Boys had a child together then "Substitution" will be named.Purple Disco Machine after winning a Grammy for his remix to Lizzo's "About Damn Time" join forces with French electronic dance wizard Kungs for a release that sounds like a must for this summer.If you listen closely Alphaville's "Big In Japan" sneaks in as a keyboard sample making this song an 80's tribute that was just born in 2023.They both have the magic and the intimate touch to make this one a must play all summer long.

TAYLOR SWIFT - ANTI-HERO (REMIXES)

 Taylor Swift is making all the right moves so she can have the best sales for her single "Anti-Hero" that will remain on the Uk top, will temporarily loose the number one by Drake & 21 Savage but it will be until X-mas one of the chart toppers.After the Bleechers version here comes the remix package at the right time containing one by Roosevelt, one by French Kungs and one by Jayda G.

The Roosevelt remix gives the song this laid back nu disco euphoria almost like it's done by Purple Disco Machine. The disco bass and bells transforms it to an 80's disco soul jam that will blow your mind.

Then we have Frenchman Kungs with an electronic dance pop feeling all over "Anti-Hero" made for pop radios and mainstream dancefloors.Excellent choice to use one of the best in electronic pop for this version.

Finally we move on to the Jayda G remix which is the most club version (so far) of the song with also mainstream attitude but a more dj friendly enviroment.

I dont know if others will jump on the remixes of Taylor Swift's hit but if not i m perfectly happy with all three of them.Excellent choices by her team to help all these names get in touch with a wider audience and they all paid back in a big way...

 Back in May i blogged this song by Italians Mind Enterprises cause new disco is a thing i have in my playlist.The aesthetic universe and musical dreamworld of Turin has one name and that is Mind Enterprises.The disco basslines the hypnotic drum patterns of "The Clapping Song" made Kungs to remix their song adding more of all the previous ingredients for a disco take off around the music world.Hell yeah...

 French dance scene has many interesting artists that can move the crowds in a large scale.Besides David Guetta, Kungs is an intersting artist with disco elements in his productions. After "Never Going Home" came the "Lipstick" single and now we have "Clap Your Hands". The child choir vocals goes back to Tom Tom Club productions and the energetic disco dance beat is a trademark for Kungs music. This is a happy song that can provide a good feeling and we stick with that. You can't ask for more from this release...

 The first time i heard "Never Going Home" by Kungs i thought this should be a hit. After a few weeks the song is still spreading especially in France and some other countries in Europe. There are not too many infectious songs these weeks and this one is. In this remix we have a French collab since Lost Frequencies did this remix that is not better than the original but puts a different point of view that might interests the djs or some listeners. Let's hope the song grows more. It deserves it...

 Και τι ζητάμε σε αυτή την ζωή τραγούδια που μας αρέσουν να τραγουδάμε να χορεύουμε και να μας φτιάχνουν την διάθεση. Και δεν είναι απαραίτητο να είναι από πολύ γνωστά ονόματα αλλά και από ονόματα όπως ο Kungs από την Γαλλία. H επιστροφή του στα μουσικά πράγματα συνοδεύεται με ένα εξαιρετικό single που μπορεί να μου έφερε στο μυαλό το "Der Commisar" του Falco αλλά δεν έχει καμία σχέση με αυτό. Μακάρι το "Never Going Home" να γίνει μία επιτυχία το επόμενο χρονικό διάστημα και να συνδυαστεί με το φετινό καλοκαίρι μας γιατί το αξίζει...Αυτή την pop θέλουμε...
