 Sofi Tukker are back at it again.They have just kicked off the rollout for their new album "BREAD" (an acronym for Be Really Energetic And Dance), with playful new tune "Throw Some Ass".I would but i m not sure you want to see that so let's keep it as a fantasy.While some chords sound like "Training Season" by Dua Lipa their brand new release is rather a commercial single with a dance attitude.Will it work?Nobody knows until the summer test by the djs is over but i believe this is a good single for the duo.See you in Athens...

 I still have faith in today's music and the only thing that bothers me is the fact that good music is being left out from the charts.Almost 90 percent of great songs are not becoming hits due to various reasons although that the access today is unlimited.Such a great song is this one but i doubt if it will reach too many ears.LP Giobbi announced her highly-anticipated debut album, "Light Places set for release via on 12th May.So she dropped two new singles from her upcoming debut LP and the first one is the brilliant "If Love Is A Skill".This is a collaboration with indie-pop dance duo Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, aka Sofi Tukker.The result is a beautiful upbeat piano driven anthem with a haunting melody that acrobats between a French piano bistrot of the 50s and a jazz electronic session with Billie Holiday.This is pure dope...

 So far Kx5, the collab between Kaskade and Deadmau5 has given us some awesome dance tunes that makes the genre richer in every way.On March 17, Kaskade and deadmau5 will release the culmination of their collaborative effort, the eponymous Kx5 album and "Sacrifice" will be a part of it creating another reason for someone to buy this release.Their brand new single got another dance act that many like for a good reason, Sofi Tukker.The duo and KX5 in a joint single is good enough already but listening to "Sacrifice" you can hear why.

Now why "Forgive Me" the collab between Sofi Tukker and Mahmut Orhan was so much ignored is another great mystery in music.As if they are many good dance vibes with eastern flavour to be heard and this one was almost thrown away.The big "remix machine" that recycles music in every possible way is here to give a second chance to this real good feeling dance anthem and the button is called Moti.Hopefully there will be some open minded people in music to foresee that this one could be mainstream and be played everywhere.Big thumb up from me...

SOFI TUKKER - SUMMER IN NEW YORK

 Sofi Tukker is one of my favourite dance duos and i became a fan from the very first time i heard "Drinkee". Their contribution in dance music although they had some less interesting moments is great in general and i keep that. Theis second album "Wet Tennis" is out and the title is an acronym meaning When Everyone Tries To Evolve, Nothing Negative Is Safe. Too optimistic as their music i will say. We have already heard some great songs from it with no chart feedback but who cares. Their brand new single is "Summer In New York" a tribute to the place where all begun for them and of course there is a sample like almost everyone does. Suzanne Vega's "Tom's Diner" is giving the stigma on the song and summer is on...

SOFI TUKKER & JOHN SUMMIT - SUN CAME UP (CLAPTONE REMIX)

 My personal opinion is that "Sun Came Up" should be a big hit. I wrote it when i reviewed this collaboration between Sofi Tukker and John Summit several days ago. Now if you add Claptone on the remix while we are expecting many others then it gets more and more serious.While this may be a dj tool and good for dancefloors i still think the original version is better (sorry Clap) cause the melody is a weapon for the song and this remix removes it in many parts. Till next summer i think everybody would love "Sun Came Up"...

 Alternative artists and alternative music means something different from the common.There is always an audience for all that and sometimes some of these songs and artists find their way to huge success like Billie Eilish did.  Νομίζω πως όλοι θα συμφωνήσουμε πως το "911" της Lady Gaga έκανε πολύ χαμηλές πτήσεις σαν single και γενικώς δεν έπεισε.Το album της που είναι πολύ καλό δεν έχει βγάλει πολλά singles που να τα έχει σπρώξει με video και αρκετό καιρό μετά την κυκλοφορία του single βγήκαν τα πρώτα επίσημα remix του που θα αποτελέσουν μέρος της συλλογής όσων αγαπάνε την λαίδη. Οι Sofi Tukker του έκαναν ένα αρκετό καλό remix από αυτά που άκουσα και αυτό παρουσιάζω σήμερα..
