BARBARA STREISAND & HOZIER - THE FIRST TIME I EVER SAW YOUR FACE

 I m pretty sure that young people probably never heard of the icon Barbara Streisand and they will all know Hozier.But Streisand is living legend one of the most successful and enduring singers ever.On June 27 she will release a brand new duets album called "The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two" and features duets with artists such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey, Sting, Sam Smith, Josh Groban, Seal and this one Hozier."The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" was written in 1957 by Ewan MacColl and became widely known after Roberta Flack performed it in 1972, winning Grammys for Song and Record of the Year. In this new version, Streisand and Hozier deliver an emotional and harmonious performance, accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra , paying homage to the classic version of the song.

HOZIER - ALL THINGS END

 One way or another all things end.This is a fact of life and we must be prepared for the time that happens.Hozier's "Eat Your Young" Ep could or better should have recieved a better treatment so far but you never know with music these days.This song takes on a journey of a failing relationship acknowledging the fact that even what seems like "forever" shall come to an end.This bedroom soul jam is perfect when endings are happening so it's nice to have it somewhere among your playlist.

His music and voice is made to touch some inner elements of ourselves and exactly that he will try to do with the release of his brand new album "Unreal Unearth" later this year.This is the first single from this album and i will try to make a premature as always review in new releases.This is not a hit single for the charts.This is a single for inner moments in our lives so don't expect to hear it on heavy rotation on the radios.The small hours and the night is the best way to enjoy "Swan Upon Leda" from an artist that captivates his audience in his own unique way...

MEDUZA ft HOZIER - TELL IT TO MY HEART (IVAN GOUGH & JYYE REMIX)

 I really don't know anyone that he didn't like "Tell It To My Heart" by Meduza and Hozier on the vocals. I think this is the third time i post about this song on the blog and i really don't know what it takes for a great dance pop song to reach the popularity others have either on sales or streaming. Sometimes it takes a while longer or it will remain a mystery that only time will solve. Anyway this another great remix for the song that may help the spreading in favour of justice...

 Normally this one shouldn't fail the Uk charts so i ll keep the faith that after the holidays "Tell It To My Heart" by Meduza and Hozier will make the right kick to the audience. We have already some of the remixes and this one by Amice sounds just the right dj tool for almost everyone. But even if it doesn't make it high in the charts it is already a favourite for many playlists...

Kream the duo from Uk who are very respectful lately made a heavy club remix with trance origins that will put fire in your playlist.

 Now this is a surpise!!! Hozier teams up with Meduza for their brand new single for a brand new dance banger. They say opposites attract and only in music there are no boundaries.The Italian producers need to come back to hit singles and "Tell It To My Heart" seems to be like a nice try. There is no kenotomy to their sound it sounds exactly just like you knew them and this may only be the negativity of this release. On the other hand Hozier sounds great in a dance record..

HOZIER - MOVEMENT (MAYA JANE COLES REMIX)

Αυτό το κορίτσι έχει την ικανότητα να μετατρέπει κάποια πράγματα σε αριστουργήματα ενώ δεν είναι. Και φυσικά μιλάω για την Maya Jane Coles η οποία και στο παρελθόν μας έχει δώσει εξαιρετικά remixes. Αυτή την φορά παίρνει το "Movement" του Hozier και το μεταμορφώνει σε ένα απόλυτα εθιστικό dance anthem που μπορείς να ακούς όχι μόνο στα clubs αλλά όλες τις ώρες της ημέρας. O δημιουργός του "Take Me To Church" επιστρέφει με ένα νέο Ep του οποίου το ομώνυμο τραγούδι θα διαλέξω για να παρουσιάσω στο blog. Δεν νομίζω ότι ο Hozier θα άλλαζε το καλλιτεχνικό στυλ επειδή πριν μερικά χρόνια έτυχε το "Take Me To Church" να το λατρέψει πολύς κόσμος. Και φαντάζομαι πως ούτε ο ίδιος το περίμενε γιατί τέτοια τραγούδια αν και υπέροχα συνήθως μένουν σε έναν κλειστό κύκλο όπως τα blogs και αυτούς που τα ψάχνουν. Το "Nina Cried Power" είναι ένα powerful rock soul που φιλοξενεί στα φωνητικά και την τεράστια soul goddess Mavis Staples. Όσοι μπορούν να αντιληφθούν έστω και λίγο την δύναμη που κρύβει μέσα του δεν θα χάσουν...
