40 years ago we went under the moonlight put our red shoes and ever since never went out.When it comes to celebrate the 40th anniversary of David Bowie's "Let's Dance" i d expect to bring the best remixers around for the release of this Ep.Instead there is an awful Honey Dizon remix and this bearable by RQntz the Brazilian electronic producer.This iconic track created by the Nile Rodger's mastermind doesn't need a reimagine and if so i would expect someone like Purple Disco Machine who loves the 80s.Not everything needs a modern electronic production that actually insult the original...

DAVID BOWIE - YOU VE GOT A HABIT OF LEAVING (RADIO EDIT)

 I like to think they never left and there is always going to be new music from all those great artists who are not with us anymore. This is the first single of the lost David Bowie album "Toy" that it's going for release and it's a re-recorded version of a 1965 song that was a single back then by the name Davy Jones his real name right before he changes it to Bowie. This version is so Bowie-ish and full of his energy in late 90's when he recorded it again that brings back all the things we love about this icon...

DAVID BOWIE - SPACE ODDITY (50TH ANNIVERSARY MIX)

Όταν ένα τραγούδι θεωρείται classic κανείς και τίποτα δεν μπορεί να του αφαιρέσει αυτόν τον τίτλο. Το ίδιο ισχύει και για καλλιτέχνες όπως ο David Bowie που θα συνεχίσει να ζει στην ψηφιακή μας εποχή μέχρι το τέλος της ανθρωπότητας. Να κάνω μία περίεργη πρόβλεψη. Ότι κάποια στιγμή θα ψηφιοποιήσουν τις φωνές όλως αυτών των ειδώλων και με κάποιο τρόπο θα κυκλοφορούν στο μέλλον νέα τραγούδια;;; Και δεν ξέρω αν αυτό σας φαίνεται σαν έργο του Οργουελ πάντως 50 χρόνια μετά την κυκλοφορία του "Space Oddity" αυτό το νέο mix είναι ένας ωραίος τρόπος για το πρωινό μου blogging. Η πρόβλεψη μου ισχύει...
