NOTHING BUT THIEVES - OH NO :: HE SAID WHAT?

 I really like Nothing But Thieves cause they are different.Their sound reminds me a lot of the electronic rock sound of the 80s from groups like The Cars.Their last year's album gets a deluxe treatment with an extended version set to arrive on March 15."Dead Club City Deluxe" will feature three new chapters to add to the album’s universe "Oh No :: He Said What?’", "Time :: Fate :: Karma :: God"and "Pure You" as well as stripped-back versions of two of the original album’s singles: "Overcome" and "Tomorrow Is Closed'.Get a strong 80's synth dose from this one and enjoy good music.

PURPLE DISCO MACHINE & DUKE DUMONT ft NOTHING BUT THIVES - SOMETHING ON MY MIND (BRAXE & FALCON EXTENDED REMIX)

 It's strange when you start your career remixing songs for others and now you become an object of the remixes desire.The latest PDM and Duke Dumont collab with Nothing But Thieves gets a whole different music angle with the turning sounds that Braxe & Falcon have inserted to this favourite jam."Something On My Mind" will always be in my heart in the original mix but somehow this different version sounds some kind of interesting.

 A remix doesn't make a song better all the times.There are some attempts that destroys the original idea creating a totally different sound for a certain audience and this one is exactly that.I love Solomun i respect him but this one is a failure and the only reason that i m making this review is because i love the original version.I would love to hear a remix by someone else if he got the guts to make it better.

 Two great producers and one great band in a great combination.Neither of them need further introduction to convince you that "Something On My Mind" is a great choice for your listening pleasure.PDM and Duke Dumont have collaborated before in making remixes for their songs but this is the first time they have a join brand new track.This music gathering will occupy radios and dancefloors the next weeks until something new comes up from all of them.And it won't take long.Busy guys..

 One of the most underrated bands this year is Nothing But Thieves.All of their singles so far from their upcoming new album "Dead Club City" failed to enter the Uk top 40 all though they should.Their newest "Overcome" gets the Paul Woolford treatment with a remix that can be used from djs adding some more audience to their music.Paul Woolford knows exactly what to do with British music in order to make things better.

 After they welcomed us in their DCC world Nothing But Thieves shared their new single called "Overcome". The band said: "Overcome" has always felt like a "throw your stuff in a bag and get away" song that's why it arrives with a road trip-based video.Their second offering is another good reason to get your hands on their album "Dead Club City" on Jyly.If the song brings to mind "Boys Of Summer" by Don Henley or Ed Sheeran's "Overpass Graffiti" then you won't be the only one.

NOTHING BUT THIEVES - WELCOME TO THE DCC (FRED FALKE REMIX)

 I never really understood why this awesome track by Nothing But Thieves never became at least a top 20 hit in the Uk.And if you are wondering what DCC stands for is the acronym of "Dead Club City" the name of their brand new album out on May 10th along with their brand new single "Overcome".But when a song like "Welcome To The DCC" is that good it only needs a great remix by someone who has given us brilliant remixes in the past and fits the excitement.And that person is Fred Falke who adds the right electronic 80s synths only to extend my bliss...

NOTHING BUT THIEVES - WELCOME TO THE DCC

 Now tell me that the guitar riffs in the brand new Nothing But Thieves single doesn't sound like The Weekend's song "Sacrifice".Anyway everybody uses something from someone else so this comment was just my first impression of "Welcome To The DCC".The English rock band returns with their fourth album "Dead Club City" on July 7th."Welcome to the DCC" takes Nothing But Thieves to the dancefloor. The new track is easily their most pop and 80s influenced release to date and yet unmistakably their own.If you want something catchy for your playlist that grows with each play then this one is a must.
