His lyrics deal with the frustrating finality of mistakes with a vintage, effervescent Kygo beat.Since it's release the track has a positive reaction but it's to early to say if this one will give him a hit record (or whatever that means nowdays).For what it worths "Take Me Back" might actual work...

KYGO, KHALID & GRYFFIN - SAVE MY LOVE

 Music success usually lasts for sometime and then you find yourself outdated especially if you use the same sound over and over again.Kygo is very talented but i think he is trapped into his computer loops.His new collaboration with also talented Gryffin and chart topper vocalist Khalid explores the devastation of realizing you were fighting for a love you never actually felt.Both Kygo and Gryffin are renowned for the piano house and tropical vibes and that's what they offer once again on "Save My Love".Are they still people out there that are willing to recycle a good production that we already heard a thousand times?

KYGO & IMAGINE DRAGONS - STARS WILL ALIGN (ZERB REMIX)

 It didn't happen so far even though the planetary system is pretty predictible.The magnetic force called Zerb is pulling out a great remix for this collab between Kygo and Imagine Dragons and maybe just maybe "Stars Will Align" this time.The song gets a serious update with this remix that makes it more accessible to djs and radios in order to get an attention.But even if that doesn't happen it really got mine and hopefully the readers of this blog.Trust me is sooooo much better.

KYGO & IMAGINE DRAGONS - STARS WILL ALIGN

 Kygo collaborates once again with the Imagine Dragons for the release of "Stars Will Align". The previous time was in 2018 with "Born To Be Yours" which has accumulated more than 600 million streams worldwide, and which is certified gold in France.This one sounds like a Coldplay single with a dance twist but i really don't know if the planets will align to provide them a global hit.Both artists are global names and that gives the benefit of a certified promotion either way.It's not a bad single in fact i kinda like it...

KYGO & JONAS BROTHERS - HEALING (SHATTERED HEART)

 Kygo's fifth studio album was released last Friday and among the singles you already know there is a collaboration with The Jonas Brothers."Healing (Shattered Heart)" has the typical electronic production that Kygo does so well and probably will be his next single.So far except his collab with Ava Max no other single really made it's way to the mainstream charts leaving Kygo's new album without a true banger.The trademark sound that Kygo uses is probably the cause for this fact.

KYGO ft ZAK ABEL & NILE RODGERS - FOR LIFE

 Things in music are moving fast causing the fast food hits effect in most cases.Kygo who is better known for recycling songs from the past to get an attention in the charts is releasing another one.After his partership with Ava Max with "Whatever" this time he makes a brand new with Zak Abel."For Life" is using Chic's "Soup For One" a song released in 1982 better known for the mega hit "Lady" by Modjo released back in 2000.Only this time Kygo was kind enough to mention the creator Nile Rodgers the head and the heart of Chic on releasing "For Life" as a featured artist.This new hybrid of a classic is expected to be on the radios just like his preview single for the obvious reasons.

 It's common for Tiesto to remix many of the hits so they can be used by djs around the globe.This week not one but two remixes saw the light by the famous dj one for Teddy Swim's "Lose Control" (really not good) and one for Kygo and Ava Max's latest collab "Whatever". It's obvious that making a common dance remix for Tiesto is an hour job so don't expect an inspiring remix on this one.But on the other hand i m sure it will be used by many..

KYGO ft PAUL McCARTNEY & MICHAEL JACKSON - SAY SAY SAY

 This is a game that Kygo knows how to play it very well.That last time the Norwegian dj made a global hit was when he remixed Whitney Houston's version of "Higher Love".Remixing is his field while his own songs fail to chart for various reasons.Now this remix of the 1983 smash collab between Paul and Michael has been used for some months now by Kygo with the response being warm enough to release it as a single today.For us who lived the original release and grew up with "Say Say Say" storming the charts this reedition finds me ok but not thrilled.I can understand that he used the same recipe with "Higher Love" that is already tested and tried to bring this classic into the 20's but it feels a little awkward.No need to say that is always great to hear the two legends once more and feel that they might come back at the charts.

 I haven't heard the best new release this week yet.But they keep on coming and hopefully there will be something that really matters. Kygo keeps on doing the same thing over and over again. It's beggining to sound like there is no alternative in his musical course and that's why there is no hit the last two years at least.Gryffin on the other side is getting more and more attention especially in the USA. This collaboration has Calum Scott on vocals who had his biggest hit this year with Lost Frequencies."Woke Up In Love" won't bother your ears but you can easily replace it...

KYGO - FREEZE (JOHN SUMMIT REMIX)

 Sadly the last singles Kygo released was a disappointment for me.He is stuck to the same loops and production enviroment that can easily be forgotten in a couple of days.Thank god John Summit came to the rescue remixing "Freeze" to the highest level of it has to be done in the first place.This anthemic remix is the pergect sunset soundtrack wherever you are on this planet..

 Kygo created a much better version of "Let Somebody Go" by Coldplay & Selena Gomez. It was one of the singles that has been promoted when the album "Music Of The Spheres" was released but now it's the time to be considered as a proper single with a video and some remixes. I have mixed feelings about their album as for the collaboration with BTS.This song in this version can be a grower if you listen to it more than once.Kygo seems to have inspiration lately..

 I really don't understand why he keeps doing the same thing over and over again. Ok once made him number one but basta with the same loops same technique and all that in a tropical enviroment. Things turned in music and Kygo gives me the impression he doesn't know to do anything else. His new single "Undeniable" has X Ambassadors on it and what can i say bring me a higher love...

KYGO ft ZOE WEES - LOVE ME NOW

 Today as it will be announced by the BBC Ed Sheeran will break his own record with 7 weeks at the top of the Uk charts.Many wanted to step down Ed but it still looks strong enough to hold for an eighth after the remix release he announced with some famous drill rappers. Kygo seems to be far away from his self producing recycled music with the same ideas and the same production. This tropical feeling is no longer a trend but his new single insists on that making good only to the upcoming Zoe Wees from Germany who seems to have future in the music industry.

 Ο Κygo τις μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες του τις έχει γνωρίσει με remixes και όχι με δικές του συνθέσεις. Το ταλέντο του στην σύνθεση δεν του το αρνείται κανείς αλλά η τέχνη των remixes μάλλον του πάει περισσότερο. Εδώ και μερικές μέρες είχα πληροφορηθεί πως σήμερα θα κυκλοφορούσε νέο single και το "Gone Are Days" είναι στο Sound Fist και μπορείτε στην σελίδα του blog του Facebook να το έχετε στα ηχεία σας και να το ακούσετε αφού δεν υπάρχει preview ακόμα όση ώρα γράφω αυτές τις γραμμές. Πρόκειται για μία piano μπαλάντα με τον James Gillespie στα φωνητικά η οποία προσπάθησε να συνδεθεί μαζί μου όση ώρα το άκουγα αλλά η σύνδεση ήταν μάλλον ατυχής...

KYGO & DONNA SUMMER - HOT STUFF

 Είδε πως το νέο του album δεν έβγαλε τίποτα από επιτυχία σαν singles και είπε να το ρίξει σε αυτό που ξέρει πολύ καλά, τα remixes...Το remix που έκανε στο classic της Tina Turner θεωρείται επιτυχημένο γιατί πούλησε και συνεχίζει να πουλάει αλλά για έναν περίεργο λόγο στην Βρετανία πχ δεν έπαιξε πολύ στο ραδιόφωνο. Είπε να το ξανακάνει με το υπερ classic της Donna Summer "Hot Stuff" το οποίο δεν πειραξε και πάρα πολύ ούτε του έκανε κάτι ιδιαίτερο που θα το θεωρούσε κάποιος εμπνευσμένο remix όπως αυτό με την Whitney Houston. Ως εκ τούτου οι προσδοκίες δεν ανταμείβονται..

Τι άλλο πρέπει να γράψω για να καταλάβεις πως τα 80's are back και μάλιστα δυναμόνουν μέρα με την μέρα. Μετά την Whitney Houston ο Kygo έπιασε την Tina Turner αναζητώντας την επιτυχία αφού με το νέο του album δεν κατάφερε να βγάλει hit singles αν και κυκλοφόρησαν αρκετά. To εμβληματικό "What's Love Got To Do With It" δια χειρός του Kygo μπορεί να επαναφέρει ακόμα και την συνταξιούχα Tina επί σκηνής ειδικά μάλιστα αν βρεθεί αυτό εδώ στην κορυφή των charts..

KYGO & VALERIE BROUSSARD - THE TRUTH

H αλήθεια είναι πως είμαι πολύ επιεικής με τις βαθμολογίες μου στο blog οι οποίες θα πρέπει να αλλάξουν αν θέλω να είμαι πιο ακριβής με αυτές. Και έχω αρχίσει ήδη να το κάνω γιατί θα πρέπει να υπάρχει μια διαφοροποίηση ότι και αν αυτό σημαίνει. Δεν ξέρω τι έχετε πάθει με τον Kygo στο blog και οι περισσότεροι κάνετε σαν τρελοί με τα νέα του τραγούδια τοποθετώντας τον στην κορυφή των views προσωπικά δεν βρίσκω κάποιο ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον. Εδώ όμως πρέπει να συγκεράσουμε μουσικά γούστα που να έχουν ένα ευρύ φάσμα για αυτό και παρουσιάζω άλλο ένα single που μόλις κυκλοφόρησε μέσα από το νέο του album. Τώρα αν ρίχνει δολώματα και όποιο κάτσει, αν κάτσει δεν το ξέρω. Δεν το βλέπω όμως να του κάθεται γιατί είναι όλα τα ίδια..
