Skrillex has reunited with Boys Noize for new single, "Fine Day Anthem".The single lands as the first collaborative music the pair have released together since 2019’s "Turn Off The Lights" EP, and samples Opus III’s classic dance hit, "It’s a Fine Day", released in 1992.It would be breaking news if a song didn't use a sample especially in dance music but i think that we all are used to that.The only curiosity is what comes next from the past and how it will be used.

 Πολλά remakes αυτή την εβδομάδα και εδώ έχουμε ένα summer dance anthem φτιαγμένο για τα clubs προερχόμενο βέβαια από το 1993. Ήταν η χρονιά που ο David Morales μας έδωσε τον "In Da Getto" και έκτοτε έχει περάσει στο χορευτικό dna μας. H latin προσθήκη και η παρουσία του Skrillex δεν θα πω ότι το αναβαθμίζει απλά του δίνει μία νέα υπόσταση η οποία εξυπηρετεί από κάθε σκοπιά την χορευτική μουσική.  Απ ότι φάνηκε η επιστροφή του Skrillex στα μουσικά πράγματα άρεσε και βέβαια δεν ήταν μόνο με ένα τραγούδι. Η συνεργασία του με τον Swae Lee αποτυπώνεται στο "Too Bizarre" το οποίο βαδίζει σε νέα μουσικά μονοπάτια για αυτόν. Είναι ιδίωμα των καλλιτεχνών που έχουν πολύπλευρο ταλέντο να γίνονται μεν διάσημοι για ένα συγκεκριμένο genre αλλά να μην εγκλωβίζονται σε αυτό. Άλλωστε ο Skrillex γνωρίζει πολύ καλά να ανακατεύει ήχους και αυτό κάνει..

O Τy Dolla Sign ως feature artist σε singles άλλων έχει γνωρίσει τις επιτυχίες του. Τώρα κάποιοι από αυτούς είναι σειρά τους να ανταποδώσουν. Όλοι οι παραπάνω συμμετέχουν στο νέο του single το οποίο είναι αρκετά ερμαφρόδιτο και αγγίζει διάφορες πτυχές της μουσικής. Μπορεί να μην πάει κατευθείαν στο νούμερο ένα και μετά να βρεθεί στο 33 σε μία άνευ προηγουμένου κατρακύλα όπως το τελευταίο single του 6ix9ine που εγείρει πολλά ερωτηματικά για τα charts θα είναι όμως ένα τραγούδι που πατάς ευχάριστα ξανά το play..

LYKKE LI & SKRILLEX & TY DOLLA SIGN - TWO NIGHTS PART II

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι ελάχιστοι έδωσαν σημασία στο περσινό album της Lykke Li "So Sad So Sexy". Αλλά επειδή υπάρχει πάντοτε η τεχνική της ανακύκλωσης μέσω των remix η Li αποφάσισε να δώσει στα τραγούδια του album ένα νέο twist με την προσθήκη κάποιων και ένα διαφορετικό πιο mainstream production που μπορεί να δώσει στα τραγούδια του album μία νέα προοπτική. Για παράδειγμα θα επικροτήσω την αναδόμηση στο "Two Nights" και με την προσθήκη του Ty Dolla Sign και θα ελπίσω και εγώ όπως και η Lykke σε μια μεγαλύτερη αποδοχή...

TRAVIS SCOTT - SISCO MODE (SKRILLEX REMIX)

H επιτυχία του "Sisco Mode" στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες είναι μεγάλη αν και ουδέποτε ασχολήθηκα με τον Travis Scott στο blog. Η rap θύελλα κυρίως στην Αμερική είναι ένα φαινόμενο που έχει φέρει στο προσκήνιο πολλούς νέους rapper αγνώστου διάρκειας. Αν δεν ήταν στην κορυφή η Ariana Grande (από τα λίγα ποπ singles που τα κατάφεραν φέτος) το συγκεκριμένο θα είχε βάλει την κορωνίδα. Το remix του Skrillex το οποίο είναι καλό μου δίνει την ευκαιρία να πω δυο λόγια για αυτό...
