 I feel that this is her last chance after a hiatus of no personal hit singles for a singer that still has to offer if you ask me. Ellie Goulding's "Black Prada Dress" is a raw, emotional pop track about dealing with criticism and manipulation and it's a good one if you ask me.That doesn't nessecary means that it will become a hit.The lyrics and the intimacy of the song is the main weapon that will people to connect with it but it's a hard time for pop music overall.Depending of what is being released from that genre lately "Black Prada Dress" feels over the average sound and it should become part of your playlist.This is the first single from her sixth studio new album named "I Know Too Much" that will be released early this September.Welcome back Ellie...you sound great!!!

 Illenium is a quite big name mostly in the Usa even though dance music is one of the less popular genres in the country.His sixth studio album "Odyssey" has been released and this pairing with Ellie Goulding has been released as a single.The album features moody melodic house, rock fusion, drum n bass, and his classic, cathartic melodic bass.The album is full with collaborations with names such as with Alna, Alok, Bastille, Bring Me The Horizon, Dabin, Dean Lewis, Elley Duhé, Emmy, Hayla, Kid Cudi to name few."Don't Want Your Love" is a rather trance radio friendly jam that could really work if it was given a chance.

MARSHMELLO, ELLIE GOULDING & AVAION - SAVE MY LOVE

 Marshmello is known for his collabs and being one of the biggest names in dance music.On the other hand Ellie Goulding continue the dance vibes recently with Anyma and now with the masked dj and producer.The third party is Christopher Stein, a 28-year-old singer-songwriter from Germany who goes by the name AVAION on the way up the dance scene with multiple releases.With "Save My Love" , the three acts bring a sultry mix of pop and EDM. Marshmello's typical mellow beats, Ellie's dreamy vocals and Avaion's melodic touch make for a track that you want to put on your summer playlist.

 I know i know i know it has been a while but nothing much is happening in music and i m on a short of vacations for one more week but don't worry everything you need to know will be up sooner or later.For now this partenership is always succesful and counts many years.They reunited last year to release "Miracle," which Harris said at the time marked the completion of a "trilogy" of bangers after teaming up for 2012's "I Need Your Love" and 2014's "Outside."They're now back with a fourth collaboration, "Free," which the chart-topping dance music superstar recently tested out for a crowd on the island of Ibiza during a DJ set at Ushuaïa.Can't say i m impressed from the first listen but somehow this collab works every time....

 The London-based DJ, producer and live artist TSHA has teamed up with Ellie Goulding and Gregory Porter to release a new track, "Somebody".TSHA crafts a moody instrumental, utilizing a saturated live drum kit, string sections, and spacious pads to set the tone for "Somebody". Ellie bursts into the track with vibrant, nostalgic melodies, exploring a variety of cadences overtop the solid foundation laid out by TSHA. Just when you think the track has reached its peak, Gregory joins the party to bring the main hook home, passionately singing the line "I really need somebody" in harmony with Goulding.Songs like that may not be found in the charts but they can be found in our heart and mind.Dope!!!

 Is it going to be a fifth week for "Miracle" on the top of the Uk chart?Probably even though David Kushner's "Daylight" is so close that nobody can be sure at that point.Either way "Miracle" is already the biggest hit for both Calvin and Ellie in the Uk and that doesn't changes.And if the remixes for the song are going to be released almost every week the streak of success might be expanded.What a bigger weapon for the hit single than a remix by David Guetta himself who is always present in these cases.This remix is going to be all over the place this summer...

 Nice move to choose Kream for the first big big remix of "Miracle".Although the song didn't make it to the number one of the Uk chart due to the megalith called Ed Sheeran who gained his 14th Uk number one the Calvin-Ellie collab is expected to be one of the summer dance anthems.Kream put their best on this one and i will dare to say that it's even better than the original.This vibe will crush every festival, party, dancefloor or beach.Whoa...

"By the End of the Night" follows the recent release of trance banger "Miracle" with Calvin Harris – Miracle, which is very possible to dethrone Miley Cyrus from the Uk number one giving both Calvin and Ellie their third collaborative number one single.Yo know that everything that reminds 80's pop music gets almost my immidiate approval so yes i like her brand new single.Let's see if "Miracle" will perform one for Goulding's personal single too.

 It’s been nine years since Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding last teamed up for a new song. The two haven’t worked together since his 2014 album "Motion" in which the two created one of his biggest hits, "Outside" She also featured on his 2012 album, 18 Months, on "I Need Your Love".Also this is the first euro dance record after a very long time for Calvin Harris since he was exploring other genres.Now this 90's piano house jam that links to 90's hits like "Children" or "Blue" is making a difference from other dance productions by going back.Although i like the song in general i m not sure what the reaction from the public will be cause it's old school dance music.Going back can be tricky or a mastermind move.

 Ellie Goulding's return to music wasn't as much succesful as it was expected but nothing is certain yet cause the release of her new album at March 24 may have some great music in it cause there are too many great people from music are involved."Higher Than Heaven" album enlisted  Greg Kurstin (Sia, Maggie Rogers, Elton John), Jessie Shatkin (Charli XCX, Years & Years), Koz (Sam Ryder, Madonna, Dua Lipa) and Andrew Wells (Halsey, Yungblud) to pen her pop star that was glowing some years ago."Like A Saviour" is her brand new single and it's a good pop song.But as always if not played, streamed and have the support it will remain a good song for our collection.

ALOK, SIGALA & ELLIE GOULDING - ALL BY MYSELF (PAUL WOOLFORD REMIX)

 He was one of my favourite remixers in 2022. I m talking about Paul Woolford that made songs better sometimes with his remixes and offered a chance to dance to some of the biggest hits in 2022.Now "All By Myself" had the great idea to use Depeche Mode's "Enjoy The Silence" melody but it didn't work so far.This remix by Woolford is made for dancefloors as always but it's also more contemporary for the Uk market.Too bad Alok is so overlooked in the charts he is so talented..

 In a very competitive music industry any absence for a long time can cost you.So far it looks that the media in the Uk have forgotten Ellie Goulding cause her first single from the upcoming 5th album wasn't appreciated no matter what her label did for "Easy Lover". Ellie just announced that her brand new album is called "Higher Than Heaven" it will be released early February 2023 and a new single just popped out of this one.Trying to evaluate "Let It Die" after a good intro it came a rather boring bridge and a refrain that i couldn't relate to with the first listen.It may be a premature opinion cause it oftens change but for now i ll stick with this opinion..

 Although charting is not a criteria if a song worths listening to this is another overlooked single this time by Ellie Goulding. Ten years ago and with the hype Ellie had this would have been already a number one in the Uk but times are changing.I never really understood why ageing in most of the times or keeping a distance in music for a while change things in the industry but it happens. This is not the first time Ellie and Four Tet are collaborating (he remixed her "Burn" single back in 2013 among others) so it's easy to expect a brilliant new version of "Easy Lover".The electronic form Four Tet adds makes it irresistible....

The new chapter to Ellie Goulding's career is here finally hoping she is not forgotten.After motherhood pop music is next with a great tune in my own humble personal opinion."Easy Lover" it's easy to be loved from the very first play with all this shiny synth pop surrounding her distinguished voice adding some rap elements by Big Sean for the youngsters who need this genre on board.If the first taste of her new album is like this then i can't wait for the next ones. SILK CITY ft ELLIE GOULDING - NEW LOVE (ARMAND VAN HELDEN REMIX)

 Τελικά είχα δίκιο και το "Up" της Cardi B εξαργύρωσε την εμφάνιση της στα Grammys και βρίσκεται στην κορυφή του Billboard με τους Silk Sonic ένα σκαλοπάτι πιο κάτω. Για να δούμε αν θα αντέξει στην κορυφή αφού έρχεται με φόρα το νέο single του Justin Bieber που αξιώνει τον θρόνο για μία ακόμα φορά. Άλλωστε πολλά από τα τραγούδια του "Justice" θα βρεθούν μέσα στο Hot 100 και θα παίξουν τον ρόλο τους τους επόμενους μήνες αφού οι συνεργασίες είναι πολύ δυνατές και όταν έρθει η στιγμή θα αναφερθώ και σε αυτά.

Εκτός από τους Silk Sonic όμως υπάρχουν και οι Silk City οι οποίοι απέτυχαν για μία ακόμη φορά να κάνουν επιτυχία. Το μόνο που απομένει είναι τα remixes του "New Love" προς τέρψιν των djs αφού ο Armand Van Helden κάνει αυτό που πρέπει και αυτό που κάποιοι θα ήθελαν..

SILK CITY ft ELLIE GOULDING - NEW LOVE (SHANE CODD REMIX)

 Το super duo Mark Ronson και Diplo παρ όλες τις προδιαγραφες του δεν έχει καταφέρει να βγάλει μία πραγματικά μεγάλη επιτυχία. Όλα έχουν περάσει στα ψιλά ακόμα και όταν έβαλαν την Ellie Goulding να κάνει τα φωνητικά στο νέο τους single "New Love". Απ ότι φαίνεται και επειδή έχει περάσει καιρός και θα φαινόταν αν το πράγμα θα είχε προοπτικές εξέλιξης μάλλον θα πρέπει να περιμένουμε το επόμενο για να δούμε αν αυτοί οι υπερ-ταλαντούχοι μουσικοί θα βάλουν ως duo μια επιτυχία στο ενεργητικό τους. Μέχρι τότε το remix του Shane Codd ο οποίος είναι hot ίσως σας αλλάξει την άποψη έστω και λίγο..
