The Grammys were given last night with Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga among the big winners of the night.It's funny how the music industry treat music today but that's just how things work these days.The "Aperture" declimax came sooner that i thought but it was expected for such a not a good choice.The other thing that's interesting is that more and more music from the past is getting once more an attention like Zara Larsson's "Lush Life" even "Boys Don't Cry" by The Cure.

On the other hand there is quite a lot of new music out there by new artists that are ready to hatch but all it takes is the right condition.For instance Billy Reekie, a singer-songwriter from Scotland, has been sharing his musical talents since the young age of 9.His latest single "When You Were Mine" has this 60s aroma all over it that reminds Stephen Sanchez's "Until I Found You" in a lot of ways that makes it attractive to my ears.What about yours?

 According to the laws of physics where is action there is a reaction and it works both ways depending on which side you are.The "boss" is known for not holding back his political view and his humanitarian values all these decades.What is going on to the world right now will always get people and artists in resisting and protesting in any way they can.Bruce Springsteen as expected didn't stay silent so he recorded and released  "Streets of Minneapolis" as a direct response to what he described as "state terrorism" being practiced in the city of Minneapolis , in response to the ICE operations and the tragic events that accompanied them.According to his statement, Bruce Springsteen wrote the song in just one day, recorded it the next day, and released it immediately.Political songs are not my favourite choice but many people throughout the decades embraced them as a statement.The reaction to this song is making it the most downloaded song the past 24 hours...

JOHN NEWMAN - LOVE ME AGAIN (AGAIN)

 Making a global hit doesn't mean that you will stay as a pop star for long unless you repeat it (more than once).And John Newman although he is a great voice didn't..In order to come back on the charts he decided to re-record his number one hit "Love Me Again" in a new version that has a more dance appeal from the one released back in 2013.I m not sure if this the right choice for him recycling something that is alreadya classic but the song is already so good that djs might re-introduce it to a new generation that is not too far anyway and hopefully it will work out for him.

 One of the least places to find new music is the Billboard charts and that's a very sad situation since the USA has always been the tank for worldwide hits.Now apart country music and the Christian and Gospel genre going stronger day by day it's hard to find even rap artists climbing up the charts.With a surprise Pharrell produced single T.I returns with a soon to be top 10 single "Let Em Know".This is his first single since 2021's "Fuck Em" and it  will appear on T.I.'s new album, "Kill the King". Pharrell's beat is exactly what heneeded: bouncy, heavy bass, with driving chords reminiscent of old TI classics like "Rubberband Man." The rhythm gets you moving immediately, while TI flows with confidence, talking about success, money that "blows fast". Just as fast as "Let Em Know" becomes huge...
