 Sombr's "Potential" was pretty much shown from the start and his course in music shows that he is here to stay.The 20-year-old, real name Shane Boose, penned the track himself and gave audiences a first taste of it during his Coachella Weekend One performance."Potential" is the follow-up to "Homewrecker" and it's an uptempo alt-pop jam that will offer him another chart hit as he is preparing his new album.I like what he is doing promoting one song at the time in order to release an album with already hits in it in order for someone to buy.This is the right stragedy and Sombr is making all the right steps.

KATSEYE - PINKY UP

 Katseye are not a K-pop group, but of all the global acts backed by K-pop agencies they’re by far the buzziest."Gabriela" is by far their best song till now and it should have been a number one song on the charts but it has failed.Even so that was a song that you could hear over and over again in the future without missing it's freshness.I can't say the same thing about their new release. Alongside new single "Pinky Up" Katseye are poised to conquer a huge stage at Coachella minus member Manon, who remains on hiatus and has been rumored to leave the group.The new song mixes early-2010s Eurodance tropes with the group’s trademark engagement bait approach with the melodic parts being the most interesting element of the song.This is what youngsters will embrace cause the girls are hot right now but it will fail my playlist (sorry about that).

DEXTER & THE MOONROCKS - FREAKIN OUT

 While Ella Langley rules the USA charts making her the biggest success so far in 2026 her crossover on the other side of the Atlantic is rather explosive too making me wonder for how much longer country music will dominate music.But on the other side in places like Texas there are some different sounds that are interesting enough.Dexter and the Moonrocks are an American rock band from Abilene, Texas formed in 2021. Combining elements of country and rock music, they have described their genre as "Western space grunge" and their first chart hit "Freakin Out" is pretty much exactly that.The song incorporates elements of 1990s alternative rock and 2000s pop-punk and emo. It has been described as "sadboi country" but i will call it a southern Nirvana vibe.. It’s not "radio-safe" pop it’s more like a high-octane rock song that just happens to have a hook you can’t shake.For some reason i dope this one...

 Sometimes it takes sometime in order to gain the hit status and maybe one of this cases is Talia Mar. There is always the Evanescence way asking you exactly that in their brand new single."Who Will You Follow" opens with a softer and more introspective tone, where Amy Lee ’s voice dominates accompanied by simple piano melodies till the explosion burst the song into a rock fireball.Evanescence are making a strong return to the discography with their new single taking from the upcoming album "Sanctuary" which is expected to be released on June 5.In fact the group released two new songs but this one is the official new single.The quiet and explosive moments, an element that has characterized Evanescence 's most iconic work is still there with Amy Lee's voice as good as ever.

LADY GAGA & DOECHII - RUNAWAY

 Finally a good Friday when it comes to new releases apart from the fact if we have reasons to put them in our playlist or not.An anticipated film like "The Devil Wears Prada 2" always needs a good soundtrack with big names on it and  Lady Gaga with Doechii is a good start.Although "Runaway" is more fit for Doechii's brand the Gaga factor is present and for sure it will cause quite a buzz for a couple of days but apart from that this is a weak production.The powerhouse pop/hip-hop duo will not leave a mark in years to come but fans will be pleased anyway.Gaga really shifted her vocals for this one and at first you barely think it is her singing in the chorus but she is and you can use it if you are up to for a catwalk.
