BRUNO MARS - SOMETHING SERIOUS

 I don't know which one will be the next single for Bruno Mars after "I Just Might" but "The Romantic" album is in my hands and i choose this one to be the follow up.The album has only nine tracks with a lot of latin influences and many soul blues vibes that are his favourites in his last released albums.Bruno Mars is an asset for music he will be praised as one of the greatest the next decades and pretty much he will stay forever cause his talent is extrordinary.The global "Romantic" tour is a not miss event which i wish i can experience if south east Europe is in his plans.As for "Something Serious" the Carlos Santana influence is all over it overheating the air with summer latin vibes.

 Ever since Raye took her career in her own hands with the risk to fail big time her "value for music" exploded to the highest level.Her "Where Is My Husband" single proved she can make a hit song anytime she wishes with her upcoming Brits performance all rates about her will top instantly.The fact that her second single from her upcoming second album has nothing to do with commercial exposure shows that all she cares is building the profile of a great singer with critics acceptance."Nightingale Lane" is a soulful single that links a lot to Aretha Franklin's soul music proving that the title of her upcoming album "This Music May Contain Hope" can be true.She is in the position to release this kind of music and even has a chart success with it.

AVA MAX - KILL IT QUEEN

 Ava Max returns in 2026 with a new song and a new label.She released "Kill It Queen" the first offering from her upcoming fourth album, due later this year.It's a self-empowerment anthem in a classic Max mold, a forceful pop tune that leans even harder into the towering sound of past singles.But in times where pure pop music even from divas like Lady Gaga is hard to penetrate the charts highest positions this one sounds like a weak effort in my ears.Fans will be pleased (probably) but i ve heard many better songs than this one every day.After two or three days it will fall in despair waiting the next (hopefully better) release from Ava.

 "Because The Night" was written by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith and was released back 1977.Over the years it was covered in any possibly way such as 10.000 Maniacs back in 1993 by Bruce Springsteen himself even a dance succesful version by Italians CO.RO with Taleesa on vocals.Well guess what an updated new version once again with Taleesa on vocals was released this week through the production Dino Brown made for her.This new version is based on CO.RO's original dance idea with some extra techno elements while Taleesa sounds exactly the same.The song is iconic either way so here it is...

 The surprise single this week can't be nothing else than this one.No one new that Olympic record man polevaulter Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis can really sing. His live television debut in Sweden with his latest single "Feelin’ Myself" became instantly viral not only because he can sing but because it's a truly catchy pop number.The bassline that ridiculously follows Foster The People "Pumped Up Kicks" doesn't bother me at all cause it really feels good when you press the play button.The breezy mid-tempo pop number sees Mondo showcase smooth vocals and maybe who knows a turn in his career after he is done making world records.

While the Olivia Dean era is in full display there are several new artists that are claiming their way to the top.Uk is the best place for new artists to shine even for artists coming from the other side of the Atlantic like Ana Sky.Her brand new single "King Of Hearts" is a dreamy retro-dipped soulful pop gem that is currently creating quite an impression and all it needs is a sustain buzz in order to spread out more.With an imposing percussion, balmy bass line and alluring violins creating a sweltering melody, it's her raw, sassy and confident vocals that tie all sonic elements together.Ana Sky is an emerging promising new artist that can really stand out this year.

 No matter how much i searched for some infos about this new trending on Tik Tok release i found none.Who are The Second Voice and where do they come from for now is a big mystery. We are living in a world where anyone and anything can become viral and all it takes is to become viral on Tik Tok. "Let Me Be" is an afro pop tune probably coming from someone with roots in the same continent unless it's an AI (i hope not) production.Due to it's virality the song has already started to appear at the charts around the globe with the potential to become a global hit that will stay with us until summer and beyond.So get hyped and be prepared to have the radios playing it 24/7.

TWOEF - SABOR

 This day needs some more carnival mood and i am about to provide with this one.Italian producer, sound designer/engineer and Dj TWOEF caught my attention with "Sabor" a true latin house release that fits perfectly any fiesta anywhere anytime.The song has deep grooves, latin textures and it's highly recommended to elevate the party mood on this day.After all filling the air with vibes like this one always works in case you have forgotten what it feels like to masquarade and go out there to have some fun.

GORDO, REINIER ZONNEVELD - LOCO LOCO

 In past decades during carnival we had the appropriate music releases to dance with and many of those songs were international hits.These days latin music is limited to Bad Bunny and some more latin stars that are not fitting to this period unless you use pure samba sounds.A glipse of latin dance music comes from this dance production between Gordo and Reiner Zonneveld which is considered one of the best dance anthems right now.Featuring bilingual vocals in Spanish and English, "Loco Loco" really works in terms of creating a dance mood that will keep you in a "loco" state of mind.

KYGO, KHALID & GRYFFIN - SAVE MY LOVE

 Music success usually lasts for sometime and then you find yourself outdated especially if you use the same sound over and over again.Kygo is very talented but i think he is trapped into his computer loops.His new collaboration with also talented Gryffin and chart topper vocalist Khalid explores the devastation of realizing you were fighting for a love you never actually felt.Both Kygo and Gryffin are renowned for the piano house and tropical vibes and that's what they offer once again on "Save My Love".Are they still people out there that are willing to recycle a good production that we already heard a thousand times?
