LP GIOBBI & DANIELLE PONDER - IS THIS LOVE

 Yes it is from the very first listen.The focus track for her second album "Dotr", "Is This Love" features the incredible Danielle Ponder. The 17-track album features a variety of collaborators including Brittany Howard, Panama and Portugal. The Man."Is This Love" is a wonderfully cinematic disco tune with Ponder's curling hook stretched over the rhythm.This is probably one of my favourite tracks LP Giobbi ever released and a perfect addition on my playlist.What do you think?

 I m just wondering how many of today's artists pop or not will be around after 40 years.Kylie Monigue's "Tension II" is out and here is another piece of her long chain rings that reflects why she is on her throne for so long. In fact, this is one of those times where the sequel occasionally outdoes the original. "Tension II" feels bolder, tougher and more inventive than its predecessor, while still flowing directly from the same fun and fizzy vibe.Take a listen on "Taboo" to find out why she is still around and just as hot as ever in pop music.

Now let's get back to music as the world will continue to turn with some brand new releases this week.The second chance Sophie Ellis Bextor has been given with "Murder On The Dancefloor" been used at the Saltburn" movie leads her to an upcoming brand new album with "Freedom Of The Night" serving as the first single.Part of the brand new Freemans autumn TV advert, this disco dance pop tune sounds great promising a world wide success one way or another.Great to have her back with a good song.

VICTORIA MONET - LOVE IS STRONGER THAN PRIDE

  Obviously the original is always going to be the definitive version. But this gives a new younger audience to the icon that is Sade Adu.Victoria Monét delivered the highly anticipated deluxe edition to "Jaguar II" and the project includes 10 additional songs with this cover to "Love Is Stronger Than Pride" being the one that caught my ear.This afro cover has a good production and it's fun to put in your playlist whether you love the original or you just got to hear it for the first time.

 Not the first time you find the Australian duo Confidence Man on Sound Fist and everytime it gets better and better.On their truly excellent third album, Janet Planet and Sugar Bones hurtle with abandon towards the dancefloor and onto festival main stages.If you are looking for something original that doesn't copypaste anything from today's music then 'Sicko" their brand new single will elevate you to a state of dance.While lots of pop music about partying and decadence feels cooked up in a lab – simply imagining the kind of messiness they are singing about – Confidence Man were living it, and it brings an unparalleled euphoria to 3AM."Sicko" is the perfect example of what a perfect dance pop song means and it's probably one of the best songs this month.
