 From the early 90s till today is a long way full of electronic music, beats and innovations that few dared to produce.The Chemical Brothers' long-standing success stems from their pioneering role in the 1990s big beat/acid house scene, their highly immersive and cinematic live shows, and a recent viral resurgence in 2026. The release of the Netflix film "Apex" led to a massive streaming surge. Featuring the track "Go" during an intense, viral scene on social media, the song saw a tremendous success 11 years after it's release.And that means that there is always have to be a reason for a song to become a hit so in the future there might be one for any of them.This remix by Cyril for "Go" is still unofficial but in the future it might be released as i expect some more remixes this time official to be released while the song is aiming even for the UK number one.

  The 20th anniversary of this enduring dance anthem by The Chemical Brothers is being celebrated with some new remixes including this one by Chris Lake.The song was originally released on the duo’s fifth studio album, "Push the Button" and ever since it is considered a classic."Galvanize" features a distinct Moroccan Chaabi string sample, alongside vocals from A Tribe Called Quest’s Q-Tip.Although it's not an easy task for someone remixing a classic i think that Lake did a pretty descent remix here.

 Το τελευταίο single των The Chemical Brothers πέρασε σχεδόν απαρατήρητο από τα charts για ένα συγκρότημα που έχει προσφέρει πολλά στην ηλεκτρονική μουσική. Τι σημαίνει αυτό; Τίποτα το ιδιαίτερο γιατί αν ήμασταν σε μία κανονικότητα οι Chemical Brothers θα γέμιζαν ένα στάδιο ενώ η Olivia Rodrigo δεν νομίζω. Από την άλλη η The Blessed Madonna έχει εξελιχθεί σε ένα γνωστό όνομα πλέον παρόλο την ιδιαιτερότητα της στην dance σκηνή. Μετά την συνεργασία της με την Dua Lipa και μετά την επιτυχία του "Marea" με τον Fred Again έχει εκτοξευθεί στις προτιμήσεις γενικότερα. Το remix αυτό στο "The Darkness That You Fear" μπορεί να το ψάχνατε...Μπορεί και όχι..

 Από τις highlight κυκλοφορίες του προηγούμενου μήνα ήταν φυσικά η επιστροφή των Chemical Brothers με το νέο τους single. Βέβαια η εποχή του streaming δεν διευκολύνει την επιτυχία τέτοιων τραγουδιών παρ όλο που φαινομενικά ο καθένας πατάει το play σε ότι θέλει. Το "The Darkness That You Fear" είναι ήδη ένα dance favourite για τους απανταχού djs και αυτό είναι το πρώτο επίσημο remix του το οποίο δεν είναι το ιδανικό για μένα αλλά οκ θα περιμένω και τα επόμενα..

Τζα τι κάνετε βρε; Σας έλειψα; Η αλήθεια είναι πως λόγω προσωπικών θεμάτων τα οποία είναι και δύσκολα και χρονοβόρα δεν βρήκα την ευκαιρία να ασχοληθώ καν με τα μουσικά πράγματα και το blog. Και να που βρισκόμαστε ξανά με το νέο "περίεργο" single των Chemical Brothers το οποίο είναι δύο σε ένα. Η ακρόαση του θα εξηγήσει τα γραφόμενα με τους ChemBros να παραμένουν πρωτοπόροι σε αυτό που κάνουν. Φαντάζομαι πως όσοι είναι εξοικειωμένοι με την μουσική τους θα χαρούν ιδιαίτερα..

Καλή εβδομάδα soundfisters...
Θα ήταν παράλειψη νομίζω να μην αναφερθώ στο τελευταίο single των Chemical Brothers το οποίο αναπαύεται στην επιφάνεια εργασίας μου εδώ και αρκετές μέρες. Το "Got To Keep On" είναι ίσως από τα πιο προσβάσιμα και mainstream σαν ήχος singles τους το οποίο μπορεί πολύ εύκολα να φορεθεί ακόμα και από τα ραδιόφωνα. Αυτοί που ψάχνονται πάντως είναι σίγουρο πως έχουν ένα ακόμα τραγούδι ήδη στα αυτιά τους..

Είναι ξεχωριστοί αποτελούν μια κατηγορία από μόνοι τους πρόσφατα ήρθαν και στην πατρίδα μας και οι φίλοι της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής έχουν μία πιστή και γνήσια σχέση μαζί τους που διαρκεί εδώ και δεκαετίες. Δεν θα μπορούσε να μην γίνει αναφορά στο blog μου λοιπόν για το νέο τους single "Mah" το οποίο ακολουθεί πιστά το είδος που υπηρετούν και δεν είναι φυσικά για όλα τα αυτιά. Μόνο αυτά που βρίσκουν στα ηλεκτρονικά distortions και beats τέχνη...

Πρόσφατα έκαναν την εμφάνιση τους στην χώρα μας και τώρα μας παρουσιάζουν ένα νέο τραγούδι το πρώτο εδώ και τρία χρόνια. Οι Chemical Brothers κατάφεραν να αποκτήσουν ένα κοινό που τους αναγνώρισε σαν ένα από τα κορυφαία ηλεκτρονικά duo των τελευταίων ετών αλλά και τους κριτικούς πράγμα που δεν συμβαίνει συχνά. Το "Free Yourself" είναι ένα ηλεκτρονικό anthem που δεν θα σας απογοητεύσει αφού ανταποκρίνεται σε αυτό που θα περιμένατε από αυτούς...
