 While Taylor Swift and Meghan Trainor will battle on Friday for the number one in the Uk there are some overlooked new releases that needs an attention especially if you are one of those who are always searching to update your playlist with new music.Lewis Thompson few months ago collaborated with David Guetta and introduced himself as the upcoming dance artist that needs to be watched. I really wasn't fond of that release back then but this one gave me hope that he might has something interesting to offer in the future. His brand new single "Enchante" with Clementine Douglas on vocals is a really good 90s feeling dance anthem that gave me the feeling to hear it again and again.There is an Inner City in the air don't you think?

 Stormzy released his brand new album "This Is What I Mean" and he is heading for the number one album in the Uk this Friday.The album is a rather surprise even to his fans cause has a rather somber mood.Of course he is Stormzy and as he said if he wanted to make a country album he would do it without any second thoughts.Apart from "Hide & Seek" this new single "Firebabe" will also get the top 10 credit as the album sales boost the single releases.I will not give a genre sound on "Firebabe" cause i hate that but i will only say that this sensitive soul aspect of him is something that i like.

FOUDEQUSH & LUDWICK GORANSSON - CON LA BRISA

 For me this maybe the best track in "Wakanda Forever" ost and it stands out for many reasons. First of all is the composer Ludwick Goransson who made the music for the first Black Panther as the sequel.He also made the music for "The Mandalorian" tv series and he is one of the most promising composers for future films etc.On the other hand we have Mexican star Foudeqush that provides the most etherial vocals you have heard in a long time in a beautiful melody that steals ears and slowly becoming not only viral but a future hit."Con La Brisa" may not have the label with the big names in it but it captures the essence of a beautiful song that can stay in time fresh.

 If you like music like i do then you must have heard for this year's Grammy nominations with Beyonce getting the most ever and Kendrick Lamar follow her lead.The Grammy's have been traumatized the last years with the selections excluding obvious winners no nominees making many artists like Silk Sonic and The Weekend pulling over from the nominations their albums.Credibility is a thing that really matters especially in these awards.Bottom line i think Beyonce had a great innovating album, can't be objective for Kendrick Lamar cause i m not into rap so much and i m happy for Purple Disco Machine receiving his first nomination for his remix in Lizzo's single, Doja Cat's "Woman" is a hymn(Should win one), Harry Styles made an impact so yes and Lizzo also should win something.

 "Bad Memories" is another dance track that hasn't got what it deserved.Yes it's already a well known dance anthem but the charts almost ignored it.Meduza for me had a hit with "Bad Memories" but there is still lying ahead the chance to grow bigger until next summer.Djs are the way to spread the track till then and this remix although it's not better from the original mix has the "club thing" in it with an absence most of the vocals and a trance house attitude.

THE BLESSED MADONNA ft UFFIE - SEROTONIN MOONBEAMS

 Over the years The Blessed Madonna aka Marea Stamper managed to collaborate with Dua Lipa for the remix version of "Club Future Nostalgia" she released the already dance classic "Marea" with Fred Again and she is consider one of the masterminds of dance music.For five years she hasn't released a new solo single but now it's the time and it comes in a big way."Serotonin Moonbeams" not only will elevate your serotonin levels in total bliss but will make you see all kinds of moonbeams at the same time.Talking about creating music and not copying music "Serotonin Moonbeams" is thousand steps ahead in dance music.Uffie who provides the vocals at some points reminds the Suzanne Vega's vocals on "Tom's Diner" which is only one moonbeam.If this song doesn't become a huge hit and be all over the radio then there is something very wrong in the world..

TAYLOR SWIFT - ANTI-HERO (REMIXES)

 Taylor Swift is making all the right moves so she can have the best sales for her single "Anti-Hero" that will remain on the Uk top, will temporarily loose the number one by Drake & 21 Savage but it will be until X-mas one of the chart toppers.After the Bleechers version here comes the remix package at the right time containing one by Roosevelt, one by French Kungs and one by Jayda G.

The Roosevelt remix gives the song this laid back nu disco euphoria almost like it's done by Purple Disco Machine. The disco bass and bells transforms it to an 80's disco soul jam that will blow your mind.

Then we have Frenchman Kungs with an electronic dance pop feeling all over "Anti-Hero" made for pop radios and mainstream dancefloors.Excellent choice to use one of the best in electronic pop for this version.

Finally we move on to the Jayda G remix which is the most club version (so far) of the song with also mainstream attitude but a more dj friendly enviroment.

I dont know if others will jump on the remixes of Taylor Swift's hit but if not i m perfectly happy with all three of them.Excellent choices by her team to help all these names get in touch with a wider audience and they all paid back in a big way...

RIHANNA - BORN AGAIN

 Ok here is the second song Rihanna did for "Wakanda Forever" soundtrack and this time the song was written by The-Dream who wrote her hit singles "Umbrella" and "Birthday Cake".The whole soundtrack is a tribute to african music which became very popular this year with many superstar artists who are also in the ost.Rihanna sai that just because she is going to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023 doesn't mean that she is going to release a new album till then.So all you fans you ll have to settle with "Lift Me Up" and "Born Again" which is also a ballad.Now why do i have to listen again to "Born Again"? I really don't have to...Just because is Rihanna on vocals doesn't make the song necessarily a good song that you can releate to.Some will...i don't...

AVA MAX - WEAPONS

 It's almost obvious with her brand new single that Ava Max has adopted this 80's "Flashdance" high energy pop style."Weapons" is the third single from her upcoming new album "Diamonds & Dancefloors" but i think is not as catchy as "Million Dollar Baby". There is no hook that can get in the lips and since her previous single almost ignored i don't believe there is any luck with "Weapons".Yes words can be weapons but we need songs that can be used as weapons and this ain't one...

REDONDO ft KIM KAYE - YOU ARE A DANGER

 You know that music creates memories right?The thing is what kind of memories you have depending your age.In some parts of the world Italo disco is an unknown genre but in Europe whoever lived in the 80s can't forget names and songs like Gazebo or Gary Low.The peak was between the years 1982 and 1986 and this genre had faithful followers and plenty of haters.Redondo are going 40 years back peaking Gary Low's "You Are Danger" and my bliss was a total recall.Their cover to this classic sounds so fresh and brings back memories of disco balls robotic lights and dancing on the dancefloor like few covers on classic did this year.I find myself to press the repeat button over and over again.Great idea boys a huge thanks...

SIGALA, GABRY PONTE & ALEX GAUDINO - RELY ON ME

 In case you are new here all the new releases i review can be found on the Sound Fist Facebook page just using the password here.Some of my reviews are so fresh that can not be found even on You Tube for some hours and will be added for preview later as you all can see. Now Sigala after "Stay The Night" he moves on with a brand new release collaborating with some legends of the dance field like Alex Gaudino and Gabry Ponte."Rely On Me" has some elements from the dance music all of them are releasing but it didn't convinced me that can really stand out even in the Uk charts.Besides we are getting slowly in the holiday season and there is no room for releases like this one on the charts...

GALANTIS & DAVID GUETTA ft MNEK - DAMN (YOU 'VE GOT ME SAYING)

 It's so easy to make dance music these days by using computers and programmes that makes artists like David Guetta and Galantis to release something new almost every week.All they have to do is to hire a well known singer and boom the hit bigger or smaller is out.While David Guetta is receiving his biggest hit in quite a while with "I m Good" he joins the brand new single by Galantis with Mnek serving the vocals.As usual "Damn" will appear on the Uk chart in a week from now and it will probably get into the top 20 with a projection for a brand new top 10 for all of them.This dance hit factory hasn't anything new to offer acousticly or innovating but to get you moving until the next one comes..

TWOCOLORS - HEAVY METAL LOVE (EXTENDED MIX)

 I have been watching this dance duo from Berlin for quite some time now and whoever reads the writings on the blog knows about them.I believe that Twocolors are the next act from Germany that will create a European hit and a Uk invasion after several acts did before like Topic, Robin Schulz or Jonasu.This release has been released from the summer but it has a strong hold in the Germany top 10 that expands further and further each week."Heavy Metal Love" has all the ingredients to become a super hit just as long it has the right promotion.Who else believes that?
