Have a nice week soundfisters...The blog has now full engines finding Roosevelt with yet another brilliant single."In The Dark" finds Roosevelt in a daze of perplexing thoughts and emotions, with his love interest being the only guiding light. His trademark fusion of dance music with classic funk and disco makes "In The Dark" a moody yet groovy number for the dancefloor.Another find example of what great music is kept away but it sure does exist...
Fresh out of his collab with Purple Disco Machine, Roosevelt is releasing a brand new sun-kissed single titled "Automatic".Filled with plenty of vibrancy and good times to be shared around for every music taste the Aussie is setting the groove once more with a solid bass that allows those breezy vocals to soar majestically.Every time he releases a brand new tune the bliss is immaculate.
The first thing that came to my mind when i pressed the play button on this one was "Sunglasses At Night" by Corey Heart the huge hit by the Canadian artist back in 1984 or maybe "Cheri Cheri Lady" by Modern Talking. And i m pretty convinced that the same thing had on his mind when Purple Disco Machine was creating his brand new single "Higher Ground".This comes only few weeks after releasing "Beat Of Your Heart" with Asdis but the music industry can't wait for too long that's just how things are.Now teaming up with Roosevelt on this one is only natural but also is just like having a double treat at the same time.Today there will be also a documentary in German television called "Purple Disco Machine - From Dresden To The World", which i m sure i ll be watching as soon as possible cause there is only one disco and it's purple baby...
"Embrace" Roosevelt's music cause his album will be out on Sept 22 and you can't get often such a bliss on your speakers. All 4 singles from the album have been favourites of mine and same thing here with his brand new "Forevermore".If it happens more than once then it's not a coincidence and with this guy over here it happens all the time.Pop music as it should be..
"Embrace" Roosevelt and his music as his new album comes on September 22 and the already released singles are on the bliss spectrum. When an artist never disappoints at least in my ears then he needs to be the talk of music blogs just in case mainstream radios appreciate good music at last. The vibe of his brand new single "Rising" is a breathe of fresh air that suits all seasons 24/7.Roosevelt is an artist that makes really good music.
German electronic artist Roosevelt (Marius Lauber) has set a Sept. 22 release date for his brand new album "Embrace". Τhe 10-track effort is the ’80s disco-driven single "Paralyzed" influenced by early ’80s disco, especially its bass lines. The worldwide visibility has led him to recent high-profile collaborations with Chic’s Nile Rodgers, Washed Out, and Classixx. Roosevelt has also delivered remixes for Taylor Swift, Glass Animals, CHVRCHES, and Charlotte Gainsbourg. And of course this one gave me the right bliss for the summer.
Best way to listen this one is by looking at the moon.Electronic master and multi-hyphenate talent Roosevelt releases his brand new single "Luna". It is Roosevelt’s second release after signing with a new label and sounds great as you probably guess if you are a fan.The guitar-led "Luna" is a spacebound slice of funk that recalls Roosevelt’s 2022 Nile Rodgers collaboration "Passion".You won't find it at the charts but you find it here where good songs find their place.
Vote Roosevelt aka Marius Lauber for your summer playlist. His brand new single "Ordinary Love" with a ton of synth layers describes the euphoria of a new love with all its bliss, but also the uncertainty that comes with it.Now hearing this song and compare it with the chart singles around the world why this one will be a leftover only for those who really search for good music...
Taylor Swift is making all the right moves so she can have the best sales for her single "Anti-Hero" that will remain on the Uk top, will temporarily loose the number one by Drake & 21 Savage but it will be until X-mas one of the chart toppers. After the Bleechers version here comes the remix package at the right time containing one by Roosevelt, one by French Kungs and one by Jayda G.
The Roosevelt remix gives the song this laid back nu disco euphoria almost like it's done by Purple Disco Machine. The disco bass and bells transforms it to an 80's disco soul jam that will blow your mind.
Then we have Frenchman Kungs with an electronic dance pop feeling all over "Anti-Hero" made for pop radios and mainstream dancefloors.Excellent choice to use one of the best in electronic pop for this version.
Finally we move on to the Jayda G remix which is the most club version (so far) of the song with also mainstream attitude but a more dj friendly enviroment.
I dont know if others will jump on the remixes of Taylor Swift's hit but if not i m perfectly happy with all three of them.Excellent choices by her team to help all these names get in touch with a wider audience and they all paid back in a big way...
"Passion" was from the very begging a heavily supported track by Sound Fist first of all because it's a good song second because Roosevelt is very talented and third because Nile Rodgers is in it.This is a song that will not be chosen by pop radios neither will get a chart success.But...it will get a massive remix by the legendary Fred Falke blowing up the passion-meter once and for all. This combination can't be wrong even if they wanted to.
Now they call it electronic music but it's pure disco with modern elements that simulate the good old days. Roosevelt is a servent of this genre and he serves it well. What an honour to collaborate for his new single with Nile Rodgers and my god Nile is so helpfull with young artists. These guitar riffs are so distinguished and recognizable that can only belong to one man and only."Passion" is a modern disco classic and became a favourite from the first listen...
