 Nicki Minaj is celebrating her birthday with the release of her brand new album "Pink Friday 2".The 22-track album packs features with Drake, J. Cole, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, Future, and more.This is her fifth album release and the first since 2018's "Queen". I don't know if you have to wear pink or drink a pink martini while you are listening to this album but one track that drew my attention is this one called "Everybody" with Lil Uzi Vert.We are living in a world of samples in music and this one uses a track that back in 2002 made quite an impression.It comes from the Danish group Junior Senior and the title was "Move Your Feet".This track was a number 3 hit in the Uk while sweepping the charts across Europe the same year.Seems that "Everybody" is the banger hit from this album...

 Every time Nicki Minaj decides to sing and not to rap she becomes something else and i really like it.So she released the first glimpse from her "Pink Friday" sequel in the form of "Last Time I Saw You".Pretty sure that her fans don't want this side of the rapper but the truth is that Minaj can really sing and trying something else now and then is pretty cool for me.Want a bet that this one will fail the charts as most of the really good songs?

 How hard is for Kim Petras to establish a pop profile after her monstrous hit with Sam Smith.She tried with a couple of singles but nothing worked.So she tries a recipe that usually works but the question is for how long.Cause putting on board Nicki Minaj and using as a sample Alice Deejay's 1998 classic, "Better Off Alone" is one thing and standing the test of time is another.Personally "Alone" doesn't bother me at all but i m not sure if in 10 days from now will continue to be in my playlist.

NICKI MINAJ & LIL BABY - DO WE HAVE A PROBLEM?

 I really don't care how big Nicki Minaj is at the USA and i m not paid by anyone to write good reviews for new music. It's my personal opinion that drives me after 40 years of listening to music. And if you have lived big releases and great rap tunez it's really difficult to feel empathy for songs like "Do We Have A Problem?" the new single by Minaj together with Lil Baby. It might be the most talked about new release of the week but i m not into it ven if it gets number one in the charts somehow which i really don't see it. I know that Nicki can sing and some electronic tunes she released in the past were really interesting but i know that rap queen is her thug. I ll pass...

 Και αν είσαι η Minaj με την αράδα σου θα πας.Ένα mixtape από το 2008 με την προσθήκη μερικών νέων είναι το νέο album της Nicki Minaj "Beem me up Scotty" το οποίο θα πληρώσει μέρος της κηδείας του πατέρα της που έχασε πριν μερικές μέρες. Βέβαια η εμφάνιση σε νέες φώτο δεν προδίδουν το πένθος στο οποίο βρίσκεται αφού το "Seeing Green" χρειάζεται την απαραίτητη προώθηση. Ο μέντορας της Lil Wayne και ο Drake ο οποίος είναι κολλητός φίλος συμβάλουν σε αυτό το single το οποίο θα πάει ψηλά τουλάχιστον στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες αλλά και στην Βρετανία η φήμη της είναι ακόμα ενεργή.

MIKE WILL MADE-IT ft NICKI MINAJ & YOUNGBOY NEVER BROKE AGAIN - WHAT THE SPEED BOUT?

 Βρισκόμαστε πλέον στην Αμερική του Biden μετά την πιο σκοτεινή περίοδο της Αμερικής που εγώ έχω ζήσει με έναν πρόεδρο που το μόνο που τον ενδιέφερε ήταν ο εαυτός του η εικόνα του και να προκαλεί ως επίδειξη δύναμης. Άντε να δούμε σε πόσο καιρό θα κάνει την αίτηση διαζυγίου και η Melania γιατί πολύ κάθισε μαζί του. Βέβαια σε μία Αμερική όπου η μαύρη μουσική και η country αντικατοπτρίζει την σύνθεση του πληθυσμού της και λίγο πολύ τα πιστεύω της τα πράγματα δεν θα αλλάξουν δραματικά αν κάποιοι ελπίζουν σε αυτό. Τουλάχιστον ελπίζω να υπάρχει μία αξιοπρέπεια στο φαίνεσθαι τουλάχιστον.

Ο Mike Will Made-It είναι από τους νέους rappers που με τα φτερά της Nicki Minaj μάλλον θα είναι από αυτούς που θα μας απασχολήσουν στο μέλλον. Το "What The Speed Bout It" αν και δεν με κέρδισε είναι νουμερο 1 στο itunes στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες και ίσως να έχει προοπτικές..

 Οι rappers ξεπηδούν από παντού σαν τα μανιτάρια σε όλα τα μήκη και πλάτη της γης. Και όταν έχεις τον συνδυασμό Nicki Minaj και ενός mega rap anthem του παρελθόντος σαν το "Whoomp (There It Is)" των Tag Team σαν βάση τότε οι πιθανότητες να κάνεις παγκόσμιο μπαμ είναι πολύ μεγάλο. Την βάση του "Wholla Lotta Choppas" την αγαπάω από τότε που αγόρασα το βινύλιο των Tag Team οπότε θα με βρείτε θετικά προσκείμενο στο συγκεκριμένο τραγούδι γιατί τα oldies είναι αλλιώς..

 Είναι από τα τραγούδια που παίζονται εύκολα στο ραδιόφωνο αφού πολλά στο παρελθόν με ανάλογο στυλ έχουν γίνει major επιτυχίες. To mainstream του πράγματαος κάνει αυτή την συνεργασία με όλους αυτούς ένα από τα προσεχή hits που θα έχουν αρκετούς μήνες μπροστά τους να γίνουν ακουστική συνείδηση στα αυτιά μας οπότε και αναγνωρίσημο. Το "Oh My Gawd" πάντως δεν είναι κάτι που θα σε κάνει να αναφωνήσεις τον τίτλο του όσο διασκεδαστικό και χορευτικό και να ακούγεται..

6IX9INE & NICKI MINAJ - TROLLZ

Ο 6ix9ine όταν κυκλοφόρησε το πρώτο του single "Gooba" διαμαρτυρήθηκε γιατί δεν βρέθηκε κατευθείαν στην κορυφή του Billboard και εν μέσω πλην σαφώς κατηγόρησε για μαγειρέματα στα charts αναγκάζοντας το Billboard να απαντήσει με κάποια στοιχεία (ας τα πιστέψουμε). Από την άλλη η Nicki Minaj μετά από τέτοια πορεία κατάφερε να έχει μαζί με το remix στο "Say So" της Doja Cat το πρώτο της νούμερο ένα.
Το "Trollz" είναι το δεύτερο single του 6ix9ine μαζί με την Nicki που κάποια από τα έσοδα θα πάνε προς ενίσχυση όσων βγαίνουν από την φυλακή μια και ο ίδιος είναι "καλόπαιδο" της rap και τον έκανε τον χρόνο του στην στενή. Δεν είναι καλό σαν single και δεν νομίζω να τύχει ιδιαίτερης μεταχείρισης. Πάμε για το επόμενο κατευθείαν...
