 Svenska pop stars had always a special dna in music that made them have always a special place in the music industry.Well Tove Lo may not have received the chart success she deserves but after 5 albums she is well respected around the world.Time for her sixth album "Estrus" out September 18 with "I M' Your Girl Right?" serving as the first single. To tell you the truth i really liked this new single from play one with all these trance dance pop elements defining what a modern pop song should sound.Hopefully i will not be the only one to hear this is a song that deserves to be a hit and one of the best new releases this week.

 While the Swedish pop star is in the midst of her “Dirt Femme” tour she felt that it was time for a brand new song that has already tested at her live shows.She nods to 90's dance feeling with "I Like U" and a deluxe version of her latest album will include this single for sure.Released in time for Pride month, the singer-songwriter will donate a portion of her streaming sales to The Trevor Project, which is the leading suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ youth.I like Tove Lo and i like this song.

TOVE LO - BORDERLINE

I have to comment this.I see pop addicts, music analysts mostly on Tik Tok and in other blogs praising today's pop icons like Tove Lo and that's ok.The thing is that they don't have the background of what pop music was 3-4 decades ago and mostly they haven't lived it like i did.It's only natural to feel that artists like Tove Lo are exceptional comparing today's pop music.I like Tove Lo too and i think she should be a pop star riding the charts but she is not.She is a star among pop lovers and not world wide star.Now her brand new single "Borderline" has Dua Lipa as a co writer on this song that sounds very much like a "Future Nostalgia" outtake.Things will be approached from the media differently if Dua Lipa was the singer and that's really too bad cause this is very good pop song for today's standards.

 The induction to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame has been delayed if you ask me for a group that almost 40 years is offering great music no matter the genre you are thinking of.Better late than never for Duran Duran that sound still fresh active and full of this new romantic pop energy.Lately the group trust for the remixes of their latest singles to Erol Alkan.Although this one is not the best one he does in a not so addictive single from "Future Past" it's always a remix for Duran Duran and i know that thee are still big fans out there that wants to have it and they will watch the movie they just released.Do u know many groups with the history this band carries?

 I like songs with a start, middle and end. The philosophy has been forgotten in many cases since the 80's and only in extrordinary cases the song was interesting enough for me. MARTIN GARRIX ft TOVE LO - PRESSURE

 Αν και εξακολουθεί να παραμένει πολύ μικρός στην ηλικία ο Martin Garrix ξεκίνησε ως ένας baby Avicii ή ένας baby David Guetta ανάλογα πως το βλέπει κανείς. Απέκτησε πολύ σύντομα φήμη και λεφτά αλλά ούτε μία μεγάλη επιτυχία ακόμα. Βέβαια τον έπιασε η αποκαθήλωση της edm η οποία δεν έχει την αίγλη που είχε πριν 10 χρόνια γι αυτό και δοκιμάζει και άλλους ήχους. Το νέο του single φιλοξενεί την Tove Lo στα φωνητικά αλλά και πάλι δεν νομίζω με κάτι τέτοιο να βγάλει κέρδη. Μάλλον μόνο τα έξοδα του..

 O Alok είναι τακτικός επισκέπτης στο blog μου αφούη φήμη του έχει ξεπεράσει τα όρια της Βραζιλίας και έχει γίνει παγκόσμια γνωστός με τις παραγωγές του. Αυτό το αποδεικνύει και η συνεργασία του με την Tove Lo στο "Don't Say Goodbye". To τραγούδι είναι από αυτά που θα έπρεπε να παίζει το ραδιόφωνο γιατί εκτός από pop και dance είναι και πολύ καλό. SEAN PAUL & TOVE LO - CALLING ON ME

Στην Βρετανία το "Blinding Lights" του The Weeknd θα παραμείνει για μία ακόμα εβδομάδα στην κορυφή ενώ αυτό που θα το αντικαταστήσει εκτός απροόπτου είναι το "Roses" του Saint Jhn στο remix του Imanbek το οποίο μπουκάρει με φόρα στα 10 πρώτα. Το νέο της Dua Lipa θα πάει και αυτό στα 10 αλλά για νούμερο 1 δεν το βλέπω. Στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες έχουμε μια ακόμα εβδομάδα το tik tok viral hit του Roddy Ricch ενώ η Tones And I αργά αλλά σταθερά ανεβαίνει τα σκαλοπάτια προς την κορυφή αφού γίνεται επιτέλους Top 5. Σχεδόν αδιάφορο και αρκετά καθυστερημένο το chart στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες που εκτός από rap και country δεν έχει να προσφέρει και πολλά άλλα πράγματα.
Η συνεργασία του Sean Paul με την Tove Lo προσφέρει ένα συμπαθητικό pop περιορισμένης χρονικής διάρκειας που ονομάζεται "Calling On Me". Ακούγεται σχετικά ευχάριστα και δεν ενοχλεί οπότε είναι κάτι που μπορεί σε κάποιους να ταιριάζει..

TOVE LO - SWEETTALK MY HEART

Είναι σχεδόν βέβαιο ότι το νέο single της Tove Lo θα περάσει σχεδόν απαρατήρητο και θα είναι πολύ κρίμα τα ραδιόφωνα να το παραγκωνίσουν έτσι αβίαστα. Δεν υπάρχουν πολλά pop τραγούδια που να είναι τόσο καλά και με τέτοιες προοπτικές να αρέσουν στον κόσμο. Το μόνο που χρειάζεται είναι να το πιστέψουν κάποιοι και να το σπρώξουν. Αν το τραγουδούσε πχ η Selena Gomez θα ήταν ήδη επιτυχία αλλά το λέει η Tove Lo βλέπετε. To "Sweettalk My Heart" είναι μέσα από το νέο της album "Sunshine Kitty" και είναι από τα καλύτερα pop τραγούδια του μήνα...

JAX JONES & TOVE LO - JACQUES

Το νέο album του Jax Jones "Snacks" συνεχίζει να βγάζει singles με πιο πρόσφατο την συνεργασία του με την Tove Lo. To "Jacques" δοκιμάζει να ξεφύγει από τον περπατημένο τύπο των dance singles του σήμερα αλλά δεν νομίζω πως το αποτέλεσμα θα τον δικαιώσει. Πάντοτε υποστηρίζω προσπάθειες που δεν είναι copy paste αλλά χρειάζεται να έχει και μία θετική επίδραση πάνω σου.
