SHAKIRA & BURNA BOY - DAI DAI

 Every world champion needs it's soundtrack and Shakira has already done her part not once but now twice. Shakira has officially released "Dai Dai" the anthem for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, in collaboration with Nigerian afrobeats star, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy.The previous "Waka Waka" for the 2010 world cup was a quite succesful anthem for Shakira and now "Dai Dai" which means "Let's Go" is another chapter after her big Copa Cabana concert.Blending latin with afrobeats and a big opening show with Madonna and BTS also making an apperance this song will be all over the place the next months either way.This is one of the biggest new releases this week and the charts are awaiting although it's not a strong for the future duration song.

 The celestial Coldplay are back with the second single taken from the "Moon Music" album out on Oct 4."We Pray" is featuring British rapper Little Simz, Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Palestinian-Chilean musician Elyanna and Argentine singer Tini.This is a multi-cultural prayer in the strange times we are living and once more the Max Martin signature provides a great song for us to hear.Songs like this one may not ride the charts but they surely pass the test of time.

BURNA BOY - SITTIN ON THE TOP OF THE WORLD

 Last year was a great one for Burna Boy who finally got in the spotlight after so many years in the shadows of music.The Afro-fusion star last issued an album with 2022’s "Love, Damini", after which he contributed "Alone" to the soundtrack album for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The bet here is to stay in the frontline and his brand new single will try to prove that.His new single, a track titled "Sittin’ on Top of the World" samples "Top of the World" Brandy’s Mase-sampling hit from 1998.More funky, more soulful and less afrobeat this is a good comeback for 2023.

I remember the previous years when artists like Burna Boy were ignored in everything they released.And after afrobeat explosion look at him.He is one of the hottest names around and part of the "Wakanda Forever" ost. And after the release of the movie it was only a matter of time to find "Alone" debuting in the Uk top 40 with a potential top 20 and see where it's going after that.And the reason of course is all the festive songs that came too early this year to flood all the streaming services.The emotional new Burna Boy single is one to hold on to your playlist without a doubt.

Καλή εβδομάδα soundfisters...

Αν και η δική μου ξεκίνησε με πολλά νεύρα τύπου την πληρώνεις εσύ και χωρίς να φταις ας κάνουμε ένα rotation στα μουσικά πράγματα της εβδομάδος ξεκινώντας από την Becky G.Αν κάποιος ρίξει μια ματιά στο streaming στα τραγούδια του πλανήτη θα δει πως η Karol G έχει μία περίοπτη θέση πολύ ψηλά πιο πάνω από άλλα γνωστά ονόματα που την καθιστούν ίσως ένα από τα κορυφαία ονόματα στο είδος της. Το νέο της αγγλόφωνο single είναι μαζί με τον Burna Boy και υπόσχεται latin dancing μέχρι να πεις φτάνει..

SIA ft BURNA BOY - HEY BOY

 Στις 12 Φεβρουαρίου είναι προγραμματισμένο να κυκλοφορήσει το νέο album της Sia "Music" το οποίο είναι το soundtrack της ομώνυμης ταινίας. Το "Hey Boy" με την προσθήκη του Burna Boy αποτελεί το τρίτο single μέσα από αυτό και ταυτόχρονα ένα από τα ρυθμικά tracks που η Sia σπάνια προτιμά αλλά όσα έχει βγάλει της έχουν πάει καλά. Καλά έχει βγάλει και καλύτερα αλλά η Sia συνήθως θέλει τον χρόνο της..

MASTER KG ft NOMCEBO ZIKODE & BURNA BOY - JERUSALEMA (REMIX)

Είναι τόσο μεγάλη η επιτυχία του Master KG στην Γαλλία το Βέλγιο την Γερμανία, Ιταλία και γενικά στην Ευρώπη που δεν μπορώ να το παραβλέψω όσο και αν δεν το καταλαβαίνω το γιατί. Είναι ένα συνηθισμένο african anthem που περιέργως έχει προσλάβει διαστάσεις viral hit είτε στην original εκδοχή του είτε στην remix με την προσθήκη του Burna Boy. Να δείτε που θα γίνει επιτυχία και στα παραδοσιακά charts της Βρετανίας κάποια στιγμή ενώ σύντομα θα υπάρξει και dance εκδοχή του. Εν πάση περιπτώση ποιος είμαι εγώ που θα αμφισβητήσω τα viral. Μόνο να εκφράσω την γνώμη μου μπορώ..

SAM SMITH ft BURNA BOY - MY OASIS

Μια όαση έστω και μουσική θα ήταν ότι πρέπει αυτή την στιγμή και ο Sam Smith είναι εδώ για να την παρέχει. Επιτέλους ένα καλό pop soul ξανά από τον Sam Smith που του πάει αυτό, το έψαχνε και να που το βρήκε. Πιστεύω πως το "My Oasis" το πρώτο single από το επερχόμενο album του θα γίνει σε χρόνο dt επιτυχία και θα προστεθεί σε μελλοντικό greatest hits του σαν ένα από τα πολύ καλά του singles. Μαζι έχει και τον Burna Boy ο οποίος χτίζει και αυτός καριέρα στην Βρετανία και του δίνει αυτό το extra rap flavour που το κάνει αποδεκτό και σε άλλους χώρους. Καλώς τον δεχτήκαμε..

STORMZY ft ED SHEERAN & BURNA BOY - OWN IT

O Stormzy μπορεί να είναι πολύ επιτυχημένος στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Είναι ένας εγχώριος rapper που δεν έχει καταφέρει να ξεπεράσει μόνος του τα σύνορα του νησιού. Το "Own It" είναι το payback του Ed Sheeran στην συμμετοχή του Stormzy στο δικό του album. Μην έχετε καμία αμφιβολία ότι θα βρεθεί ψηλά στα charts τις επόμενες εβδομάδες και θα περιλαμβάνεται στο νέο album του Stormzy "Heavy Is The Head".

JORJA SMITH ft BURNA BOY - BE HONEST

Από την άλλη η Jorja Smith βαδίζει σε ένα μονοπάτι σταθερής "ποιότητας" που μπορεί να μην της έχει χαρίσει το super hit αλλά ένα όνομα στο μουσικό στερέωμα που της επιτρέπει να ψάχνεται στην αισθητική του ήχου της και λιγότερο στην εμπορικότητα. Και αυτό με ένα περίεργο τρόπο λειτουργεί για πολλούς καλλιτέχνες που βγάζουν το ψωμί τους από τις συναυλίες και τα album τους και λιγότερο από το πόση πλατίνα έχει κάποιο single τους. Το "Be Honest" με ένα άκρως καλοκαιρινό afrobeat είναι μία δροσερή ταλάντωση στα ηχεία που μπορεί να κινητοποιήσει χορευτικά βήματα εκεί που δεν το περιμένεις..
