AVA MAX - KILL IT QUEEN

 Ava Max returns in 2026 with a new song and a new label.She released "Kill It Queen" the first offering from her upcoming fourth album, due later this year.It's a self-empowerment anthem in a classic Max mold, a forceful pop tune that leans even harder into the towering sound of past singles.But in times where pure pop music even from divas like Lady Gaga is hard to penetrate the charts highest positions this one sounds like a weak effort in my ears.Fans will be pleased (probably) but i ve heard many better songs than this one every day.After two or three days it will fall in despair waiting the next (hopefully better) release from Ava.

 With a drum machine that links Michael Sembello's "Maniac" Ava Max is celebrating summer with a brand new single. With the 4th of July being right around the corner, it’s fitting for her latest single to be titled "Wet, Hot American Dream". Her third studio album "Don’t Click Play" is just around the corner but so far none of the singles have managed to make quite an impression to the audience."Wet, Hot American Dream: is similar to much of Max’s catalog, an upbeat pop track that would fit in as well at the pool as it does at the club.

 Ava Max is the light Lady Gaga version in her pop edit era and the similarities are all over her brand new single "Lovin Myself". Apart from the fact that the message on this new song is the best thing you can do to yourself this kind of pop doesn't make a real difference in music and probably it will blow out in a couple of days unless it goes viral for some strange reason.This new single will be a part of her forthcoming third studio album "Don’t Click Play" while you are adding the a la "Born This Way" new Ava Max single to your playlist (just saying).

AVA MAX - LOST YOUR FAITH

 Ava Max releases her first single in 2025 and she links the 80's with a Kim Wilde sound like song."Lost Your Faith" is another solid entry to her discography and it's a message of love and hope.Although Ava released a couple of singles last year, "My Oh My" and "Spot A Fake", she had a relatively quiet 2024 in the charts as she prepared her third studio album.She needs a hit this year and although "Lost Your Faith" is a descent pop rock song this is not something that will storm the charts once again.

 Ever since "Forever Young" by Alphaville used by George Clooney and Brad Pitt for the GQ interview the song lives a second revival as the 1984 song appears once again on every chart.So it's only natural for the clever old fox David Guetta to appear making a brand new concept using Alphaville's classic together with Ava Max on vocals.The song is epic on it's original form and the youngsters already know it which means is very possible for a global trend.

 Recycling music over and over again is very common especially in dance and pop music.Sounding something familiar gives a benefit to new releases which are not actually new songs.Ava Max's brand new single is something we have already heard on Kesha's "Take It Off" on Lana Del Rey's "Music To Watch Boys To" or Ashniko's "Tantrum" to name few.But all these used a melody called "Arabian Riff" so now you know.Ava Max has maintained a constant presence in the music world and has continued to prove she’s more than just a one-trick pop star."My Oh My" is the lead single for her now-confirmed forthcoming third album and one way or another, more or less it will be on your radios all over the world.

After a week in Berlin the blogger re-opens the doors of music the way you love and the way you used to.From what i ve heard so far there are few things worth listening to concerning the new releases and the Tiesto remix to Alok's "Car Keys" is one of them.Although this should have been a chart hit it never did at least untill now.Alok continues to be underrated in terms of chart hits but he is a star dj in events.Tiesto on the other hand knows exactly what he does with all his productions and remixes.Let's see what happens with this release and how helpful can be for "Car Keys".

 Ava Max serves more than decent the pop heritage although so far only minor hits was her reward.Is she targeting on her album sales and if a single makes it then this whole thing will boost?Releasing so far several singles from her upcoming album is a way to tease the pop fans to go and buy her album.And to tell you the truth i would in their shoes.Her latest offering "Cold As Ice" is a pretty good song for the pop world but the pop radios seems to ignore such good songs.Perhaps too many single releases confuses the radios and don't know what to pick.Just pick one....this one...it's a good pop song damn it.

 Ahead of her album release Ava Max is promoting her already released singles anyway she can."Million Dollar Baby" is definitely an overlooked pop gem that got lost due to various reasons but all it needs is a little push.Nathan Dawe has put his effort in that direction by making this remix for the song made for the Uk market mostly and then who knows what happens.It is strange such good pop songs to get lost from the main charts.Totally wrong....

 It's almost obvious with her brand new single that Ava Max has adopted this 80's "Flashdance" high energy pop style."Weapons" is the third single from her upcoming new album "Diamonds & Dancefloors" but i think is not as catchy as "Million Dollar Baby". There is no hook that can get in the lips and since her previous single almost ignored i don't believe there is any luck with "Weapons".Yes words can be weapons but we need songs that can be used as weapons and this ain't one...

 Personally i like that Ava Max has adapted an 80's sound in her latest singles.And "Million Dollar Baby" is not an exception.If i m not mistaken there is some "Can't Fight The Moonlight" by LeAnn Rimes in it and this is something i think i should mention.I m not sure how well it will get in the charts cause that's what i thought for her previous single but this is only a number like i said before.As long as we have a good pop single that we put in our playlist the rest are irrelevant.My wish is to make it to the charts cause in the world of pop music there aren't so many good songs.

 "The Motto" era is behind Ava Max who returns with a brand single. This 80's beat that is being used by too many lately really gets Max too.In "Maybe You 'Re The Problem" you can hear that energetic beat that has roots in Aha's "Take On Me" once more that has been used by The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, The Kid Laroi, Olivia Rodrigo to name a few. This patern has to come to an end at some point but for now this the sound that sells and make hits. Nice single by Ava Max but not with a global hit potential in my opinion.This is the first single and the title track of her brand new album. She is in business...
