 There's just something about Cat Burns that makes her music irresistible to avoid especially when it sounds just like this single. Her newly released sophomore album "How to Be Human" put multiple songs in the spotlight and "There's Just Something About Her" is leading the way released back in September.This is a great alternative pop song that gets you deeper and deeper everytime you hear it.It has nothing to jealous from the ones Taylor Swift or Sabrina Carpenter are demonstrating on the top of the charts around the world so why not this one. A feel-good, relatable pop bop that captures the thrill of having a crush from losing composure to feeling starstruck.

CAT BURNS - KNOW THAT YOU 'RE NOT ALONE

 Feeling lost and confused in your life, then this song is a song you must check out.Multi-BRIT-nominated, double-platinum-selling South London artist Cat Burns was expected to get more hits this year but none of them did.Well it's never too late cause "Know That You' Re Not Alone" seems to have the recipe to get the chart status even at the end of 2023.It's not brillian as "Go" was but this uptempo jam reminds me in so many ways Tracy Chapman that you just can't skip the just one time play.

ARRDEE & CAT BURNS - HOME FOR MY HEART

 

I really like Cat Burns and her voice.Her music reminds me short of Tracy Chapman's songs and i think she is here to stay.On the other hand Arrdee is a British hip hop sensation that sells for now.It was only a matter of time after they both appeared at this year's Brits to release something together. The track tells the story of a relationship breakdown and expected to enter the Uk Top 40 and see where it goes from there.I just hope Arrdee doesn't read me but this is a blog that speaks the truth and has it's own opinion.

JVKE ft CAT BURNS - GOLDEN HOUR

 How many times do i have to post this one to express my love for this song.JVKE pronounced Jake has one of the most beautiful songs this year and should be in the highest positions of the charts cause we miss songs we can sing and just let go.This brand new release with Cat Burns joining the vocals will probably help the sales or the streaming but the truth is that the cause was served no matter what.It affected many people creating a golden hour at least...

MAHALIA & CAT BURNS - IN THE CLUB (ACOUSTIC REMIX)

 I love Cat Burns and i consider her one of the revelations in music this year.Apart from "Go" being one of the best singles of the year for me she is so talented that just can't remain one hit wonder.On the other hand Mahalia back in April she released "In The Club" a unique cover version of the 50 Cent smash that nobody or almost nobody noticed.This remix is an acoustic stripped back version that recruits Cat Burns and the outcome is something you will love to listen all day long..

CAT BURNS ft SAM SMITH - GO

Cat Burn's "Go" is one of my favourite singles of the year.It strikes me that it's not an international hit already but the success stays in Uk only.Things may change after this new version which recruits Sam Smith on vocals as a duet. To tell you the truth this is only for the buzz of the single abroad cause it sounds to me a little proverb this duet. In any case that doesn't change my opinion about the song that it will be remembered for many dacades to come..

I ve been searching for this version almost forever and i finally got it. This is the version BBC Radio 1 plays and it's not avaliable as an official remix with no reason so far. It's an afrobeat version with a dance attitude that makes "Go" one of my favourites this year even though the original was released 2 years ago.The song should be a number one single all over the planet but you know how things are. For now a top 10 and the label of a timeless single is more than enough for Cat Burns. Pack up your stuff and go...

CAT BURNS - GO (NERVOUS FREAKS REMIX)

 Without Tik Tok i guess this song would have been wrongly lost in time like so many others. More and more we see releases from the past gain new interest giving chance to long lost songs to revive and why not become hits. This 2020 release by 20 year Cat Burns is one of my favourites a long time now and the truth is that i ve been waiting for a new afrobeat release to talk about it but can't wait any longer. Hailing from the Uk top 10 "Go" is one of the best songs you can put on your speakers and this remix is the best there is right now. There is also a drum n bass remix by Joe Goddard but i ll pass...
