RIHANNA - FRIEND OF MINE

 I don't think that Rihanna at this point she is taking very seriously her career since she is devoted to motherhood.She is doing some minimum business stuff mostly and a participation in the animated production of "The Smurfs" both as an actress and a singer.In the upcoming film "The Smurfs" she lends her voice to the role of Smurfette while "Friend Of Mine" serves as part of the ost her brand new single.This is really a terrible choice to release it even for an animated film and probably will be soon forgotten or ever excisted."Friend of Mine" marks Ri’s first release since 2022’s "Lift Me Up" for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

RIHANNA - LIFT ME UP (DIPAP REMIX)

 Can you imagine anyone else besides Rihanna to be able to make a song like "Lift Me Up" a hit?And by that i don't mean it's not a good song.Simply it's not the type of song that anyone could buy or stream even if it wasn't for her and the movie supporting the whole release.In case someone needs an upbeat version of "Lift Me Up" talented Greek dj Dimitris Papadopoulos aka DiPap had a nice idea to bring out the inner dance potential it could have in a parallel universe.

RIHANNA - BORN AGAIN

 Ok here is the second song Rihanna did for "Wakanda Forever" soundtrack and this time the song was written by The-Dream who wrote her hit singles "Umbrella" and "Birthday Cake".The whole soundtrack is a tribute to african music which became very popular this year with many superstar artists who are also in the ost.Rihanna sai that just because she is going to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2023 doesn't mean that she is going to release a new album till then.So all you fans you ll have to settle with "Lift Me Up" and "Born Again" which is also a ballad.Now why do i have to listen again to "Born Again"? I really don't have to...Just because is Rihanna on vocals doesn't make the song necessarily a good song that you can releate to.Some will...i don't...

RIHANNA - LIFT ME UP

 There you have it.After 6 years of absence Rihanna's first out of two new songs based on "Wakanda Forever" is here.The song is inspired by the life of Chadwick Boseman the late actor it was written by Tems and you can hear all over it an Oscar nominee just as soon as they will be announced.The rather emotional "Lift Me Up" is a long awaited comeback from Riri who will make her presence rather intense in 2023.Did the world got a better place by the release of this song?I think that "Lift Me Up" has a rather depth in time label than a big hit although everyone is going to stream buy view the next weeks.I want to hear also the second song she recorded for the new Black Panther movie so i can have a beter opinion of who will make it better to the charts.

PARTYNEXTDOOR & RIHANNA - BELIEVE IT

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι θα πατήσεις το play για να ακούσεις περισσότερο την Rihanna και λιγότερο για τον Partynextdoor που ίσως να μην τον ξέρεις κιόλας. Κι όμως ο Partynextdoor είναι από τα πολύ ανερχόμενα ονόματα στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες αφού ακολουθεί τα αχνάρια του Drake και είναι και καλός αν θες την γνώμη μου. Σίγουρα ο κύριος αυτός θα βρίσκεται και στο καινούργιο σχεδόν έτοιμο album της Rihanna αλλά προς το παρόν έχεις το "Believe It" για να τζαμάρεις μαζί τους.

RIHANNA - ANSWER

Εδώ και λίγη ώρα έχει φτάσει στα χέρια μου ένα album από την Rihanna με τον τίτλο "Boom" το οποίο είναι μεν studio album αλλά δεν μπορώ να επιβεβαιώσω αυτή την στιγμή αν πρόκειται για το νέο της album. Το πιο πιθανον είναι να πρόκειται για κάποιο album με ακυκλοφόρητες ηχογραφήσεις μέσα στο οποίο υπάρχει ακόμα και μία διασκευή στο "Vogue" της Madonna. Πάντως κανένα επίσημο μέσο δεν έχει γράψει ακόμα κάτι για αυτό. Το "Answer" πάντως είναι σίγουρα ένα ακυκλοφόρητο του οποίου ένα μέρος είχε έρθει στην επιφένεια πριν και καιρό και το βρίσκουμε στην ολότητα του μέσα σε αυτό το album και μάλιστα ως πρώτο single του. Αν κατάφερε πάντως να κάνει τόσο μυστική την επιστροφή της μπράβο της!!! Το τραγούδι είναι μία ωραία mid tempo μπαλάντα που κερδίζει πόντους με τα ακούσματα...

RIHANNA - CONSIDERATION (DIRTY SOUTH EXTENDED REMIX)

Μιλώντας όμως για heavy dj tools το remix του Dirty South στο "Consideration" της Rihanna είναι κάτι που δεν θα έπρεπε να λείπει από κανένα dj set και ας μην είναι από τα singles κράχτες της Riri. Πολλές φορές δεν είναι κριτήριο για να προκαλέσει κανείς αίσθηση σε ένα big room το πόσο γνωστό είναι ένα τραγούδι αλλά το feeling που βγάζει καθώς στροβιλίζονται τα φώτα. Και αυτό εδώ το έχει...

N.E.R.D & RIHANNA - LEMON

Ο Pharell Williams ενεργοποιεί το side project του που λέγεται N.E.R.D, βάζει και την Rihanna και σερβίρει "λεμόνια" και όποιος ξινίσει τα μούτρα του πρόβλημα του. Το N.E.R.D είναι συντομογραφία του No One Ever Realy Dies για όποιους αναρωτιούνται και το "Lemon" είναι ένα πολύ διαφορετικό τραγούδι στο είδος του αρκετά πρωτοποριακό θα έλεγα που ή θα πατώσει πανηγυρικά ή θα αποτελέσει σημείο αναφοράς για την μελλοντική rap. Ενδιάμεση κατάσταση δεν υπάρχει. Και όπως λένε και οι πρώτοι στίχοι στο τραγούδι "η αλήθεια θα σε απελευθερώσει αλλά πρώτα θα σε τσαντίσει"...Εμένα πάντως μ αρέσει...
