AITCH - RMB (RING MY BELL)

 Have a great week soundfisters....

I m not a fan of British rap but using an iconic classic song is always a good reason for me to go back.Manchester-based rapper Aitch premiered "RMB (Ring My Bell)" few days ago and it samples American singer-songwriter Anita Ward's 1979 song "Ring My Bell".This classic is among the foundation of disco music, a number one hit record and Aitch sample is a good way for young people to discover it.This Aitch's most comercial record so far that can easily be played on the radio especially in the Uk therefore there is a good chance depending the support to become a chart hit.As for the rest of the world please discover the original and you will thank me.

AITCH & BOU - RAVING IN THE STUDIO

Charli XCX was the big winner in yesterday's Brit awards and for once more no award for Teddy Swims even if he had the biggest hit of 2024.This is dispicable if you ask me not to mention the fact that the credibility of the awards in general are damaged big way.Today we have the Oscars so stay tuned...

One of the biggest gainers in this week's Uk chart is Aitch & Bou collaboration with "Raving In The Studio".The track, which features a sample from Gorillaz’s "Feel Good Inc." approved by Damon Albarn, arrives as the original Gorillaz and De La Soul collaboration marks its 20th anniversary. The release comes ahead of Aitch’s planned climb of Mount Kilimanjaro for the Down’s Syndrome Association, having already surpassed his £70,000 fundraising target. The potential of climbing more inside the Uk Top 10 is more than obvious.

ANNE-MARIE ft AITCH - PSYCHO (MAJESTIC REMIX)

"Psycho" by Anne-Marie and Aitch after a small break due to Drake & 21 Savage's single releases returns to the Uk top 10 where as it was only natural Taylor Swift holds strong the top spot."Unholy" is super popular and Oliver Tree & Robin Schulz collab is prove to be an outsider.Megan Trainor's "Made You Look" is very very popular on Tik Tok and it becomes Trainor's biggest hit till now.If you ask me i m a big fan of Venbee's and Goddard's single but can it break through the top 4 wall?Get ready for Mariah Carey's returning into the top 10 in two weeks from now as Wham will follow soon after.Of course next week will probably have a song for Enland's football team for the World Cup but i will tell you all about it in a next post. For now this is the dance remix Majestic did for "Psycho" and it's just perfect for dancing..

ANNE-MARIE & AITCH - PSYCHO

Now seriously what is this pop.Now i will try to be forgiving but a two or three days sales or downloading pop is not what we need. This week's new releases are literally tragic and this song was supposed to be one of the hottest new songs cause both Anne-Marie and Aitch had hits and some good songs. This hybrid of  pop and rap called "Psycho" troubled my mind so i m writing this review as it comes from the heart.I heard the song several times since it's release today in case i m mistaken but i m sorry i didn't change my mind.Boring...

AITCH - 1989

Last year was the birth of new rapper in Uk with multiple hits that led him to the recently "Baby" chart topper using a sample from Ashanti. His debut album will be released in August it's going to be titled "Close To Home" and since from today it has a brand new single. In fact this one might be his ticket for a worldwide success since he uses the iconic "Fool's Gold" by Stone Roses. Uk rappers are huge in their home country but like other domestic rappers from other countries their success stays indoor. The "1989" single will blast the Uk charts next week with Harry Styles at number one for seventh week. "Fool's Gold" was released back in 1989 and that inspired the title of the new Aitch single...

AITCH ft ASHANTI - BABY

 Have a nice week soundfisters...

Rappers, drillers and all kinds of rhyme masters have the privilidge to debut singles, albums in the highest positions of the charts just like that. No particular effort just the release and boom you have a hit. Now who remembers those hits after 2 years or two months is another story that's why you should focus only to timeless songs from any genre. Now this is Aitch first new release of the year which means that very soon we will have an album. The British rapper will fight with Dave for the Uk number one next week cause either one of them will be throned."Baby" was produced by Fred Again.. and it samples Ashanti's "Rock Wit U (Aww Baby)" that's why you see her name on the credits. Personally i m in favour of this one because of the soul flavour in it that makes it more appealing to more ears including mine..

ARRDEE & AITCH - WAR

Rap music is now a worldwide phenomenon. It's the most popular music genre, a way of life, an expression for young people which includes everything we are living in our society. Some of the lyrics are praising bad ideas and sexual behaviours. Some of the rap artists around the world are having criminal behaviour in a rap world which is a mirror of the violence we are facing. Some of them are not and they are moving in a different direction. Either way every country have their own rap stars and right now Arrdee and Aitch are very popular in the Uk. It's most certain that next week this would be the highest new entry in the Uk charts since this collab for "War" sounds massive...
