I never believed that this song from Tame Impala could have so much impact in the music world this year not because it doesn't deserve it but because songs like "Dracula" usually are going under the radar becoming only fans favourite.Being a massive hit Jennie from Blackpink joined for a remix version (actually a duet) with this remix by higly rising Boys Noize exploding to space this week.By far this is the best version of the song making it a must have this summer wherever you are.Inspiring disco beats and a summerish fresh breeze on this global hit is all you need to start this week.

TAME IMPALA - DRACULA

 When he is not creating hits for others Kevin Parker aka Tame Impala follows his own path in music which has always been an alternative way of almost everything.This song was released back in September as the third single from his brand new album "Deadbeat" released 10 days ago."Dracula" brings on some bounce with its disco-like production and although it took some time to digest it in my musical intestine it started growing with it's minimal style.A straight-forward bop, nothing more and nothing less that sneaks slowly like a musical enemy.

 It's a common thing few weeks before holidays to have re-releases or special editions from albums we heard few months ago if we want to make music as a present to others or to ourselves.We will have a special edition of Tame Impala's "The Slow Rush" and a taste is this remix. TAME IMPALA - BORDERLINE (BLOOD ORANGE REMIX)

 Και ενώ το "Slow Rush" των Tame Impala είναι εκεί έξω εδώ και καιρό δεν σταματά το album τους να μας τροφοδοτεί με μερικά υπέροχα remixes στα τραγούδια τους. Πάτα το play και κλείσε τα μάτια ακούγοντας αυτό το εξαιρετικό remix του Blood Orange. Είναι αυτό που πρέπει να είναι οι Κυριακές μας το Φθινόπωρο εξαφανίζοντας ότι συμβαίνει γύρω μας για τα υπόλοιπα 7 λεπτά μέχρι να το πατήσεις ξανά. Ορισμένα σύνορα δικαιούσαι να τα ξεπεράσεις..

TAME IMPALA - IS IT TRUE (FOUR TET REMIX)

 

Για μία ακόμα εβδομάδα Joel Corry και Mnek θα βρίσκονται στην κορυφή του Uk chart με τον Nathan Dawe να είναι ένα σκαλοπάτι πιο κάτω. Μεγαλύτερη νέα είσοδο από τον Drake και μεγάλη πτώση του έξω από το Top 10 την επόμενη ενώ Miley Cyrus και Paul Woolford με Diplo θα είναι πολύ σύντομα Top 10. Το τι φτάνει στα αυτιά του καθενός είναι από την μία επιλογή από την άλλη θέλει και λίγο ψάξιμο αφού για να ακούσεις κάπου το remix από Four Tet στο τελευταίο single των Tame Impala είναι μάλλον δύσκολο. Στο blog μου τραγούδια σαν το "Is It True" αποτελούν τον εξαγνισμό του όποιου ψυχαναγκαστικού copy paste γίνεται επιτυχία για κάποιους ανεξήγητους λόγους..

TAME IMPALA - IT MIGHT BE TIME

Δεν ήμουν απόλυτα σίγουρος εάν ήθελα να ασχοληθώ με το νέο των Tame Impala. Βέβαια το πόσο πολύ θυμίζουν τα πιανάκια του Rodger Hodson και Supertramp δεν το συζητώ αλλά το "It Might Be Time" μέσα από το νέο τους album "The Slow Rush" είναι αρκετά ασύνδετο σαν σύνθεση και πελαγοδρομεί αφήνοντας μία περίεργη αίσθηση σαν να μην ήξεραν ακριβώς τι ήθελαν να φτιάξουν. Αν τα "περίεργα" είναι κάτι που δεν σε ενοχλεί ιδιαίτερα τότε ίσως να φανεί ενδιαφέρον..

TAME IMPALA - BORDERLINE

Συνεχίζουμε να έχουμε δείγματα από την νέα δουλειά των Tame Impala οι οποίοι επιστρέφουν μετά από 4 χρόνια. Μετά το "Patience" έρχεται το ψυχεδελικό disco "Borderline" γιατί τα στεγανά τους χωράνε πολλά είδη μουσικής. Τα ανοιχτόμυαλα groups έκαναν πάντοτε τις μουσικές διευρύνσεις τους (βλέπε Queen, Rolling Stones) και αυτό είναι δείγμα ταλέντου και τόλμης. Περιμένουμε και το album για να δούμε τι άλλα καλούδια θα βρούμε μέσα..

TAME IMPALA - PATIENCE

Έπρεπε να περάσουν 4 χρόνια για να έχουμε κάτι νέο από τους Tame Impala. Βέβαια όλο αυτό το χρονικό διάστημα έκαναν πολύ ενδιαφέρουσες συνεργασίες με ονόματα από διαφορετικούς χώρους που εμπλούτισαν τους μουσικούς τους ορίζοντες με αποτέλεσμα σήμερα το "Patience" το οποίο είναι ένα adult σχεδόν lounge ποπ anthem που δεν ξέρω αν θα έχει εμπορική αποδοχή σίγουρα όμως θα υποδεχθούν οι κριτικοί και οι γνώστες με τα καλύτερα σχόλια. Με τα ακούσματα γίνεται όλο και καλύτερο. Δώστε του χρόνο...

THEOPHILUS LONDON ft TAME IMPALA - ONLY YOU

O Theophilus London έχει ένα αρκετά αξιοπρεπές προφίλ στην μουσική σκηνή άσχετα αν έχει γνωρίσει την εμπορική επιτυχία. Δεν λέω καλά και τα εμπορικά αλλά οι διαφορετικοί ήχοι είναι αυτοί που κάνουν την ακουστική απορρύπανση σε μια μουσική βιομηχανία που αναπαράγει τον εαυτό της. Το "Only You" είναι το νέο του single σε συνεργασία με τους Tame Impala άλλο ένα όνομα από την Βρετανία που έχει να δώσει ακόμα πολλά καλά δείγματα μουσικής...

ZHU & TAME IMPALA - MY LIFE (KRANE REMIX)

Για την συνεργασία του Zhu με τους Tame Impala έχω γράψει στο blog αλλά ελάχιστοι έχουν δώσει σημασία για ένα track που του αξίζει κάτι περισσότερο από ένα απλό άκουσμα. Από χτες απέκτησε και οπτικό υπόβαθρο στο οποίο παίζει η κόρη του Will Smith η Willow. Επίσης υπάρχει και μία σειρά από remixes με αυτό του Krane να είναι σήμερα εδώ για να κάνει το ΣΚ σας μουσικά αρκετά πιο ενδιαφέρον...

O Zhu είναι ένας ιδιαίτερος καλλιτέχνης του οποίου οι δυνατότητες είναι να δημιουργεί ότι θέλει και να επεκτείνεται κατά βούληση ανάλογα με τις διαθέσεις του. Αυτό περιλαμβάνει ακόμα και συνεργασία με τους Tame Impala των οποίων η πρόκληση να συνεργαστούν με έναν τόσο ιδιαίτερο καλλιτέχνη είναι μεγάλη. Το αποτέλεσμα είναι αριστουργηματικό αφού το "My Life" είναι ένα κομψοτέχνημα που αγγίζει τα μύχια της ψυχής. Το μήνυμα "let me live my life" διαχρονικό και τώρα με την καλύτερη μουσική επένδυση...
