I still can not believe the passing of Irene Cara one of the icons of the 80's cause she was only 63 years old.It always makes me sad to lose members of my musical family that i danced with, sing with, love with, grow with.Too soon Irene but you will always live forever with your voice through "Fame" and "Flashdance".True icon, true pop star...

Now covering iconic songs like "Last Christmas" is not the smartest thing to do this period of time cause the original will always be the one and only vesion.In September The Backstreet Boys" made a cover of the Wham classic for their Christmas Album and now Eden Prince with Karen Harding decided to make a brand new one.This dance soulful brand new version with no jingle bells in it is not only smart but i would dare to say rather good.It's important to feel like you wanna hear this one again and again and it happens..

SECONDCITY & PAUL WOOLFORD ft ANDREA MARTIN - ALL I WANT (EDEN PRINCE REMIX)

 Η χορευτική μουσική βιομηχανία είναι ίσως αυτή που δέχθηκε το μεγαλύτερο πλήγμα και αν όλα πάνε καλά από το καλοκαίρι και μετά ίσως ορθοποδήσει έστω και λίγο. Όλο αυτό το χρονικό διάστημα πάντως οι dj producers δεν σταμάτησαν να δημιουργούν χορευτική μουσική και μάλιστα με υψηλά standards αν και οι επιτυχίες στο είδος ήταν στο minimum από κάθε άλλη χρονιά. Μέχρι να έχουμε τις νέες παραλαβές θα σας πω πως τελευταία ακούω αυτό το remix του Eden Prince στο "All I Want" του Seconcity και Paul Woolford (και πάλι). Ο λόγος νομίζω πως είναι εμφανής αφού το "Let The Music Play" της Shannon σαν vibe πλανάται και στοιχειώνει πολύ ευχάριστα αυτό το dance anthem που δεν έχει ημερομηνία λήξης..
