 It's no surprise anymore that songs from the past especially from the 80's keep coming back again and again.The fact that today's music produces no more than 10 relly hits per year makes the audience attracted to real music and real classic songs.1984's mega dance hit "High Energy" by Evelyn Thomas managed to become a classic, charting mostly on the dance charts that year.But the impact was so huge that till today is a crowd pleaser and a mood changer.Belgium djs had a great idea to revamp the song in a new version very close to the original and today's elements at the same time.Who can resist to a high energy produced for so many years?

  With massive beats, old school club sounds, dance classic samples but also a lot of original vocals Block & Crown have been releasing track after track bringing back memories from massive hits their own way.This time one of the most famous instrumental dance classics ever by Harold Faltemeyer was on their production target and really i couldn't help it but blog it.This one served as the theme for the 1984 film "Beverly Hills Cop", starring Eddie Murphy, and became an international number one hit in 1985.There is an F missing in the title from the original but there is nothing else missing here..

 Netherlands dj duo Adri Blok and Mitch Crown aka Block & Crown strikes again. Almost every week they release at least two new reinvented classics that everybody loves and leaved their mark in music.This time they are taking us back in 1978 when Earth Wind & Fire unleashed a "Fantasy" beyond any imagination a landmark in soul music.Then in 1990 came the Black Box version with soul diva's Martha Wash vocals still burning the ground whenever you hear it.Such a great song would take a lot of effort to be destroyed in a new version.And Block & Crown love the oldies as always so "Dubb My Fantasy" is on repeat...

BLOCK & CROWN ft SOULBOYZ - YOU TO ME (NUDISCO MIX)

 The Dutch duo Block & Crown have a thing in covering, sampling, reviving classics or recent big hits in their own way but not very far from the original which is kinda cool cause you don't wanna hear the classic distorted. Their recent release using the Soulboyz for the vocals is a nu-disco cover of the 1976 huge hit by The Real Thing. I can't believe that anyone over 25 hasn't heard the song or is not familiar with the melody but for educational purposes all youngsters should hear and learn how great music is done.Learn from the classics and educate your ears...

 Talking about summer anthems Gary Low's cover of "La Colegiala" from 1984 still creates a latin feeling no matter how many year's have passed. Since then there have been a lot of covers and they will continue to be cause summer and "Colegiala" is an unbreakable bond. Dutch duo Block & Crown decided to bring back this iconic tune in a disco house way that will make noticable this release.I guess not many djs will show resistance in playing this one...

SEAN FINN - DISCO REVENGE 2021 (BLOCK & CROWN & SEAN FINN REMIX)

 More recycled dance classics.Sometimes more than i can bear but also sometimes it's nice to bring back music memories like this one. Gusto's dance anthem from 1996 is coming back to life in the hands of Sean Finn and together with Block & Crown they are making this very nice remix for all of you "revengers" out there. Djs can't go wrong with this classic anytime any place...
