"When He's Gone" bridges classic soul balladry with modern widescreen pop storytelling. By stripping away rigid metronomic production, Smith showcases a refined vocal clarity and artistic confidence.Do i like it?Comparing to his previous two singles from the album that i didn't even bother to write this one has something interesting that can really grow in time.

 The best thing that Sam Smith has to do for his career is to focus on his wonderful voice, keep a low profile and choose good songs.And one step in the right direction is his brand new single "To Be Free" a deeply emotional song that keeps it very simple only with a guitar accompany his voice.The emotion overflows because of this production that will tranfer it's feeling from the very first listen.This is a song to stay if you ask me and probably will become one of his classics.Good to be back Sam Smith.

 That's an interesting collaboration that finally came out today.Charli XCX and Sam Smith released their first collaboration in the form of "In The City".The song is about finding the people you truly love and connect with through wild nights out and partying in magical places and that makes it a dance record.Although there were some hateful comments online about Sam Smith in her instagram announcement for this release which Charli condemned them "In The City" is a party song and music should be a celebration in every way.Let's put this on loudly and ride for the city partying...You never know what tomorrow brings cause these are difficult times..

 Ready to go bananas?Ready to split your bananas or Madonna will do it for you.Being not polite or social acceptable has always been Madonna's way and lately Sam Smith is using rather provocative ways at his live shows.So it's not a coincidence these two are collaborating for "Vulgar".The controversy for this one will be far more greater than the song itself and either will work in benefit of the song or will keep it as a gay anthem for vogue dancers or not.Now this sound has been used a lot by Beyonce on her latest album for songs like "Thique" who can easily someone can relate with the "Vulgar" sound.I m really curious to see the reactions by the public in the next days.

 I ll stick to my first opinion that "Lose You" is the best track on Sam Smith's "Gloria" album.And in case it will be ignored in the charts this song sometime in the future will gain what it deserves.Now why Felix Jaehn decided to speed it up and give with this remix an Oliver Tree kinda taste i ll try to accept it.While i m hoping that someone like Purple Disco Machine or Claptone will involve in a much more acceptable remix to this gem i will advise you to hear first the album version if you haven't already.

 Just got my hands on the "Gloria" album by Sam Smith and my first impression is that it's a nice album.It has it's ups and downs things Sam Smith loves in his music.Apart from the singles we already know i think that "Lose You" is the best album track and a future hit.But till it will officially being released and promoted there is "I m Not Here To Make Friends' a Calvin Harris production that will served as a single.Also we have a ballad penned by Ed Sheeran and sung as a duet with Smith called "Who We Love" a profound single sometime in the future.Sam Smith is at his peak and "I m Not Here To Make Friends" has the latest Calvin Harris way in music.

 While "Unholy" ain't slowing down after becoming Sam Smith's biggest hit ever it's time for him to move on and shoot another mega hit as i hear it in my own ears.This is part of his fourth album called "Gloria" out on Jan 27th and comes with Jessie Reyez and Mikayla Victoria Simpson aka Koffee the Jamaican reggae singer on supporting the vocals."Gimme" is a dancehall reggae afrobeat infusion that becomes a pop blaster asking for more and more repeats in every way.I think Sam Smith finally figured out what it takes to stay on the top and in our acoustic field like for the rest of the year at least..

I told you that very soon we will have more remixes of "Unholy". And i will say it again that after The Disclosure remix many big names are going to contribute to this mega hit.The song spends a third week at the number one in the UK while in the USA will have to wait one more week before Steve Lacy abort the number one.Acraze provides a pumping remix to "Unholy" that has his trademark sound all over it.Is this the best one? I hope not cause so far i haven't heard something so inspiring to say wow. Clubbers and djs will weaponize this one for sure for now...

The video for "Unholy" is one of the best this year and it will gain a lot of awards in the upcoming ceremonies but it will get also a lot of remixes for the song.Sam Smith's long collaborators Disclosure delivers the first official remix which i m not sure that i like it very much.Disclosure's taste in dance music is well known peculiar that makes them different from the rest.Anyway here is their remix and if you are not satisfied with it wait for the rest...

Cat Burn's "Go" is one of my favourite singles of the year.It strikes me that it's not an international hit already but the success stays in Uk only.Things may change after this new version which recruits Sam Smith on vocals as a duet. To tell you the truth this is only for the buzz of the single abroad cause it sounds to me a little proverb this duet. In any case that doesn't change my opinion about the song that it will be remembered for many dacades to come..
