 Adele's return was one of the biggest events in the music world this year. As it was expected "Easy On Me" broke every record in the first days of it's release and the only thing left to see is how much duration will have this impact. Some first signs of slowing down are visible already and only time will tell. Louis La Roche had an idea of a production of Adele's new single in an absolute 80's feeling with all the elements that made that period so unique.  Minelli's "Rampampam" was a Tik Tok hit that managed to become a hit across Europe. The Romanian singer didn't make it to Uk yet but as we all know it's very difficult for a foreign artist and especially from the Balkans to find this kind of promotion from record companies and the radio. Not that it doesn't happen but it's difficult. This is a brand new remix from German producers Vize and Averro to boost "Rampampam" a little bit further and who knows. If you see in the future remixes from well known djs and producers from the Uk then it might not be over for Minelli...

No radio so far only mouth to mouth.  Just in time Elton John's "Cold Heart" managed to hit number one last week cause Adele's "Easy On Me" came and swiped everything. His "Lockdown Sessions" is out and listening to the album it has some nice songs in it but the only one with potential to be a hit is this one. Of course there is a Christmas song on the way duet with Ed Sheeran that probably hit number one but "Orbit" is the most modern sound in Elton John's new album. Pnau was responsible for "Cold Heart" and SG Lewis who i admire and believe very much is responsible for the sound of "Orbit". Hopefully he will release it as a single. Do u hear me Elton?

SOFI TUKKER & JOHN SUMMIT - SUN CAME UP (CLAPTONE REMIX)

 My personal opinion is that "Sun Came Up" should be a big hit. I wrote it when i reviewed this collaboration between Sofi Tukker and John Summit several days ago. Now if you add Claptone on the remix while we are expecting many others then it gets more and more serious.While this may be a dj tool and good for dancefloors i still think the original version is better (sorry Clap) cause the melody is a weapon for the song and this remix removes it in many parts. Today BBC will announce the Uk chart and there is no doubt that Adele will go straight at number 1 since it was the best selling single of 2021 in the first days of it's release. Coldplay with "My Universe" will return to the Top 10 and Becky Hill with Topic most likely will enter the Top 10 too. Talking about hits Abba has more than all the above together. The return of the legendary group with a brand new album was one of the highlights of the year in music."Just A Notion" was a recording back then that didn't make it to the "Voulez Vous" album and by fans request is their new single from the "Voyage" album. The spirit of 1978 lives in "Just A Notion" i don't think it will make it high in the charts but fans will be very pleased just listening the 70's again..

In my personal opinion that was unfair cause everybody were expecting the same thing they did some years ago. But the truth is that the trio moved forward and they paid the price. The third single has The Weeknd on board and it expected to do better. The truth is that "Moth To A Flame" is not a perfect single. I was expecting something more but it's also true that i heard it only once or twice before making this review. There are so many bad singles that becomes hits so the comparison with this one sounds ridiculous. Still i was expecting more...

PRINCE - DO ME BABY (DEMO)

 I could write about Prince for days. The best thing i ever did for music was going to one of his concerts back in 1990 to Wembley Arena to see his glory in full effect. His best period was of course in the 80's and early 90's when suddenly started doing stuff outside of the box and only from his musical mastermind only for those who could follow. He did that and in the early days but he wanted his music to be heard as much as possible. After his glory days he became more private and eclectic. This track was an outstanding classic from his "Controversy" album one of my personal best and an erotic epic anthem with no match. A rare demo version recorded back in 1979 with no "sexual content" in it as the album version was released these days as a celebration to the 40th anniversary of "Controversy" and it's a real treat for all those who love his music. Of course the album version is in another level but the basic elements are there...

 Walker Hayes with his single "Fancy Like" currently at number 3 at the Hot 100 of Billboard has the biggest country hit of the year. You can't say exactly pure country his music cause he uses pop elements and maybe that's his secret of his huge success. I know that outside USA it's very difficult for this genre to get the same success but i think you should try Walker Hayes and you won't regred it. It's not the first time you see Karen Harding on my blog. I would be a fool if i didn't recognize the potential this singer has for the future. And her ever first Ep called "Sweet Vibrations" shows exactly that. That soon enough she will have chart hits and you all get to know her name well enough. And this  is only one of the good songs on that Ep that contains 8 songs all on repeat. She must release again her collaboration with Digital Farm Animals cause it's a banger but for now  "You And I" will keep you company wherever you are.

ODEN & FATZO - LAUREN

 Dance French duo Oden and French dj Fatzo have one of the most interesting new releases in dance music. Djs around the world have playlisted "Lauren" and there are more to come cause this disco house tune is different and a party maker. The song is based on a original track by Men I Trust that was released after public demand after it made waves for more than a year in different music platforms. And when the reaction is so intense then something is going on and not so many people can go wrong. Can they?

LENNON STELLA - FANCY

 The truth is that my desktop is full of new music and songs waiting their turn to be reviewed by the blog so try to keep up. After her first album that made an impression multi talented Lennon Stella is back with new music and a new single. There is a lot of electronic ink about indie pop and how strongly affects younger ages and we can see that in the sales of those artists. Traditional pop exists but lost it's glamour. "Fancy" is that kind that can make you feel good and strange at the same time. There are two parts in it. I like the first part but not so much the dropdown. Either way it's interesting enough to cause my attention...
