 The celestial Coldplay are back with the second single taken from the "Moon Music" album out on Oct 4."We Pray" is featuring British rapper Little Simz, Nigerian singer Burna Boy, Palestinian-Chilean musician Elyanna and Argentine singer Tini.This is a multi-cultural prayer in the strange times we are living and once more the Max Martin signature provides a great song for us to hear.Songs like this one may not ride the charts but they surely pass the test of time.

 Honey finally i m home.....It makes you wonder how a very good song like this one is having a steady high download rate but poor streaming overall keeping it from the highest chart positions.A common trick that boosts the hype of a song is the remix package and the first one comes from this year's most hyped dj called Zerb.Keeping the original feeling and adding some dance minimal elements "Feelslikeimfallinginlove" can now have the dancefloor support and gain more audience.Either way this song charting high or not will be one of Coldplay's highlights in years to come.

 Too sad i couldn't see them live in Athens few days ago but i hope  ll get the chance another time. But even if the live show is still branded around a three-year-old album, the band has been showing the first signs of a new LP rollout.The new album will be out October 4 it will be called "Moon Music" and the first single is the brilliant "Feelslikeimfallinginlove".From the start, the track incorporates a subtle element of electronica and gradually develops a steady beat before introducing the frontman’s emotive vocals.The Max Martin-produced track steadily gains momentum, before erupting into the powerful chorus and just like that a new favourite tune has surfaced into our lives.The video for the song was filmed at Greece's ancient theater of Herodes Atticus with a live audience so welcome back Coldplay.

 Kygo created a much better version of "Let Somebody Go" by Coldplay & Selena Gomez. It was one of the singles that has been promoted when the album "Music Of The Spheres" was released but now it's the time to be considered as a proper single with a video and some remixes. I have mixed feelings about their album as for the collaboration with BTS.This song in this version can be a grower if you listen to it more than once.Kygo seems to have inspiration lately..

 "Music Of The Spheres" is not a good album for Coldplay and it needs to have a big hit. Yes "My Universe" managed to climb at the highest positions of the charts around the world and the main reason was BTS and we don't have to hide it. The same song without them wouldn't be as much successful in my opinion and you can disagree of course as much as you like. The try to remain the song at the highest positions continues and this time they called David Guetta for a big room remix of "My Universe" that will be used very much the next many many months from all the djs.This is what i call promotion...

 This is what i call marketing and if a record company wants to promote a single always knows what to do. There is a brand new remix for "My Universe" this time by Galantis and i really don't know how many more are ready for release. Hopefully it will be the last one for a single that this blog talked about in July and made a chart career after all in the highest positions. Coldplay helped BTS or the opposite? So many times we heard this single in different versions that i started to like it..

 =Adele's new single will land at Uk's number one with an ephatic way and i hear the bets on how many weeks it will stay there. On Friday also it's very possible to see Becky Hill & Topic to enter the Top 10 while "My Universe" by Coldplay will climb back the top 10 because of the release of their album and because indystry knows how to boost sales by releasing remixes of a song. This time is BTS's Suga who makes his own edition of the song and the truth is that it's a nice one..

COLDPLAY ft SELENA GOMEZ - LET SOMEBODY GO

 Third single from "Music Of  The Spheres" was announced this collaboration with Selena Gomez. As expected "My Universe" was dissapeard from the Billboard Top 10 just to makes us sure that the charts are not reliable any more. "Let Somebody Go" is a ballad suits perfect with a cold weather but it didn't get me. It didn't go through me it didn't bring chills with the first or second listening. I m not very optimistic about the effect will have to the audience but it's not something that bother my ears..

 It seems like a hundred years ago when i first presented "My Universe" by Coldplay along with BTS. All you have to do is to press the tag with their names to see what i m talking about. The release of the single happened officially few days ago and as it seems it will be the highest new entry next week at the Uk Top 10 but i don't believe it will threat the top spot. Today i have a new remix of the song more electronic, more out of space which is a kinda cool to say the truth. Since i know the original for quite some time this version will be my new entry in my playlist...

COLDPLAY ft BTS - MY UNIVERSE

 Even Coldplay decided to collaborate with BTS and i hate to think the idea that Coldplay needed that just to make a chart hit. Yes the brand BTS sells but it's becoming annoying to promote so much a group that has nothing special to offer. The new Coldplay album will be titled "Music Of The Spheres" and "My Universe" will be definitely a single beside an album track. This is a single made for radio even though the compose is very common and usual as many tracks does. This means that i can listen to it as many times as i can handle but it won't be my favourite track of the year..

 A good remix doesn't have to be official to make the trick. Sometimes unofficial remixes may be better and that's a fact.On the other hand Colplay managed to make "Higher Power" a well heard song even if they couldn't climb very high at the charts. Chart toppers can be also "bad" songs or songs we forget after a couple of weeks. Alyx Ander had a great idea remixing Coldplay's song in that way that may attracks attention...And it's official...

COLDPLAY - HIGHER POWER (TIESTO REMIX)

 Έχω την αίσθηση πως οι Coldplay δεν είναι ευχαριστημένοι με τις επιδόσεις του "Higher Power" γι αυτό και σε μερικές μέρες κυκλοφορούν ένα νέο video σε post apocalyptic περιβάλλον και ειδικά εφέ για το single τους ενώ με εμφανίσεις στην τηλεόραση και remixes όπως αυτό εδώ προσπαθούν να το κάνουν ευρύτερα γνωστό. Άλλωστε η αποτυχία του προηγούμενου album κόστισε και μία δεύτερη δεν θα ήταν καθόλου αποδεκτή. O Tiesto από την άλλη όχι μόνο ξέρει αλλά και μπορεί να δώσει στο "Higher Power" την pop dance διάσταση που του πρέπει. Είμαι σίγουρος πως θα έρθουν και άλλα remixes από επίσης μεγάλα ονόματα...

 Μακάρι όλες οι εβδομάδες να ήταν σαν αυτή όσο αναφορά τις νέες κυκλοφορίες. Νομίζω πως όλοι σας τις βρήκατε αρκετά ενδιαφέρουσες και για όλα τα γούστα. Και επειδή το νέο των Coldplay είναι μία σημαντική επιστροφή το πρώτο του remix και μάλιστα από τον Zhu είναι το κερασάκι στην τούρτα. Το "Higher Power" ουσιαστικά αλλάζει εντελώς φυσιογνωμία κάνοντας την επιλογή από τους Coldplay να είναι jackpot. Φαντάζομαι πως θα ακολουθήσουν και άλλα remixes από πολύ γνωστά ονόματα αλλά ο Zhu είναι "μάγος" και θα αποτελέσει ένα dj tool για το επόμενο χρονικό διάστημα που θα προτιμήσουν πολλοί. Σε λίγο θα πάω να εκ-moderna-ιστώ για να αποκτήσω την σιγά σιγά την απαιτούμενη ανοσία και αν δεν έχω τίποτα παρενέργειες σας έχω και άλλες νέες κυκλοφορίες που θα σας ενδιαφέρουν...

COLDPLAY - HIGHER POWER

 Οι Coldplay είναι αναμφισβήτητα μία από τις κορυφαίες μπάντες τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες αλλά αυτό δεν σημαίνει πάντοτε εμπορική επιτυχία. Για παράδειγμα το album που κυκλοφόρησαν το 2019 δηλαδή το προηγούμενο τους δεν έβγαλε κάποια επιτυχία που θα θυμόμαστε. Ωστόσο αυτά είναι για να δημιουργούν παρενθέσεις σε μία ήδη πολύ επιτυχημένη πορεία. Έτσι όλο αυτό πρόκειται να αλλάξει με το νέο τους single "Higher Power" που έσκασε μύτη τις τελευταίες ώρες και το οποίο είναι σε παραγωγή του δημιουργού των επιτυχιών Max Martin. Αυτό το high energy 80's pop feeling που δημιουργήθηκε από την επιτυχία του "Blinding Lights" και το οποίο όλο και περισσότεροι δοκιμάζουν όπως η Sia μαζί με David Guetta φαίνεται να επηρέασε και τους Coldplay.To "Higher Power" είναι καλό single που θα κερδίσει μία θέση στα charts (πόσο ψηλά θα το δούμε) σίγουρα στο ραδιόφωνο στην καρδία μας μένει να το δούμε. Αντίστοιχα τραγούδια στα 80's όπως το "Boys Of Summer" του Don Henley του οποίου την τεχνοτροπία βρίσκω και στο νέο των Coldplay το έχουν καταφέρει και με το παραπάνω. Καλό pop single για τους Coldplay με "διαστημικές" προδιαγραφές όπως θα δείτε και στο video και αφού έκανε ήδη την βόλτα του και στο διάστημα!!!

COLDPLAY - FLAGS

 Το marketing του κυκλοφορώ ξανά του τελευταίο μας album και βάζω μέσα και κάτι καινούργιο το ξέρουμε εδώ και χρόνια. Φαντάζομαι πως δεν πειράζει τους fans του κάθε καλλιτέχνη να έχουν κάτι καινούργιο ειδικά μάλιστα αν το όνομα αυτό λέγεται Coldplay. Το "Flags" είναι προφανώς από τα leftovers του τελευταίου τους album το οποίο τώρα στις γιορτές θα ζεστάνει λίγο το κοινό τους αλλά και το γιορτινό τραπέζι του συγκροτήματος..

COLDPLAY - DADDY

Το μόνο σίγουρο είναι πως το νέο album των Coldplay θα βγάλει αρκετά singles ε και δεν μπορεί όλο και κάποιο θα κάτσει. Άλλωστε ένα τόσο μεγάλο συγκρότημα με συνθετική δεινότητα δεν μπορεί να μην έχει κάποιο τέτοιο μέσα στο νέο του album. Μήπως αυτό θα είναι το "Daddy" το οποίο ετοιμάζουν για single και το οποίο μου κάνει και για εορταστική μπαλάντα χωρίς να έχει όμως κουδουνάκια και τα σχετικά. Οι sad στιγμές τους έχουν μία ιδιαίτερη ευαισθησία και μπορώ να πω πως με άγγιξε...

COLDPLAY - ORPHANS (MUZI REMIX)

Δεν βλέπω ιδιαίτερη ανταπόκριση στα singles που έχουν κυκλοφορήσει έως τώρα οι Coldplay μέσα από το νέο τους album "Everyday Life". Βέβαια το album θα πουλήσει ούτως ή άλλως αλλά αν δεν υπάρχει έστω ένα single να μείνει πως να το θεωρούμε επιτυχημένο. Βέβαια πολύ σύντομα θα κυκλοφορήσουν και νέο single οπότε είναι πολύ νωρίς για οποιαδήποτε εικασία. Ούτε το remix αυτό θεωρώ ότι έχει να προσφέρει κάτι ιδιαίτερο στην κυκλοφορία του "Orphans" που φαίνεται να μην τα πηγαίνει καλά στο Βρετανικό chart αν και είναι αυτό που σπρώχνει αυτή την στιγμή η εταιρία τους...
