Both are legends, both had huge hits back in the 80's, both shaped big time American rock pop music and it's a great deal that John Mellencamp is still musically active. Song like "Jack And Diane" or "Paper In Fire" have leaved their mark on my dna. Since country music made a big influence to both of them this country rock song from the forthcoming Mellencamp album "Strickly A One Eyed Jack" is for those who can handle it.
