 It's really funny how many "few days songs" there are out there and how the itunes responds in any artist's death also for 2-3 days as a final tribute after a long forgotten period.Same thing happened with the recent Roberta Flack's passing same thing happened with all the latest Craig David's singles.But this time things might go different since Craig is trying a heavy infused afrobeat new song with rising Tiwa Savage as a duet.This is a delicious offering in which David and Savage trade verses about the complicated nature of love.Nice one...

 In Craig David's dna is definitely soul music and although it's good to try other music genres sometimes it's better to stick to what suits you the most.In this version the partenership between Galantis and Craig David gets a whole new meaning cause the song till now failed to chart. But this soul version of "DNA" gets David to his roots giving a new meaning to this release and i absolutely love it.

 I know for sure that maths and music are strongly connected. One of the reasons we see so many numbers and symbols from the maths lately in music is that peculiar bond between them. Adele goes "30", Ed Sheeran goes "=" and now the brand new Craig David album goes "22". First single the collab with Mnek, the beat goes two step so it's very 90's and Craig David will have at least a top 20 hit single but it will stay within the borders of the Uk.

KSI ft CRAIG DAVID & DIGITAL FARM ANIMALS - REALLY LOVE

 Υπάρχει μία νέα γενιά από rappers στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία όπως οι Headie One, AJ Tracey και πάει λέγοντας που έχουν μεγάλη απήχηση και είναι λογικό αφού είναι το είδος με την μεγαλύτερη απήχηση στην νεολαία. όταν μάλιστα μπλέκει και με την χορευτική μουσική τότε είναι σχεδόν ακαταμάχητη στα charts. Αν υπάρχει ένα τραγούδι που μπορεί να κοντράρει την Ariana Grande για το νούμερο 1 της Βρετανίας την επόμενη εβδομάδα τότε αυτό είναι το "Really Love" του KSI μαζί με τον Craig David στο soul part και τους Digital Farm Animals να βάζουν την χορευτική πινελιά. όχι κάτι το σπουδαίο πάντως που θα αφήσει ανεξίτηλο αποτύπωμα..

Ο Craig David σταθερά κυκλοφορεί singles με την Βρετανική αγορά να είναι ο κύριος αποδέκτης της μουσικής του. Στο πρώτο άκουσμα το "Do You Miss Me Much" μου φάνηκε αδιάφορο αλλά με το επόμενο τα πράγματα έγιναν σαφώς καλύτερα. Με ένα διαφορετικό beat background το οποίο είναι τόσο British θα μπορούσα να το αξιολογήσω με μεγαλύτερη βαθμολογία. Περιμένω κάποιο remix του σαφώς...

Και ο Craig David έχει νέο single μέσα στο πακέτο των νέων κυκλοφοριών αυτή την εβδομάδα. Τουλάχιστον ο ήχος στο συγκεκριμένο είναι διαφορετικός από αυτά που ονομάζω εγώ κόπιες αλλά το "When You Know What Love Is" δυστυχώς δεν είναι ούτε αυτό κάποιο τραγούδι που θα θυμόμαστε νομίζω του χρόνου τέτοιο καιρό. Βέβαια μία σχετική επιτυχία στην Βρετανία ίσως την έχει αλλά και πάλι...

JAMES HYPE & CRAIG DAVID - NO DRAMA

O Craig David είναι ιδιαίτερα ενεργός στην μουσική βιομηχανία το τελευταίο χρονικό διάστημα είτε solo είτε συμμετέχοντας σε τραγούδια άλλων. Ο James Hype από την άλλη δημιουργεί pop dance και μαζί με τον Craig David έφτιαξαν μαζί το "No Drama" ένα αρκετά ευχάριστο pop τραγούδι φτιαγμένο για mainstream κατανάλωση. Υπάρχει μεγάλη πιθανότητα λοιπόν στο μέλλον να πέσετε πάνω του είτε στα charts είτε σε κάποιο ραδιόφωνο...

CRAIG DAVID ft YXNG BANE - MAGIC

Θεωρώ την φωνή του μία από τις καλύτερες που έχω ακούσει τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες με απίστευτες δυνατότητες και βελούδινη υφή με τα πρώτα του τραγούδια να είναι classics. Κάποια στιγμή ηρθε η καμπή, κακές επιλογές και έχει εδώ και μερικά χρόνια που έχει ανακάμψει στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία με τραγούδια που μπορεί να μην είναι σε υψηλά standards αλλά τουλάχιστον είναι αξιοπρεπή. Το νέο του single είναι το "Magic" και είναι συμπαθητικό και το θέτω υπόψιν σας για την δική σας αξιολόγηση..

CRAIG DAVID ft BASTLLE - I KNOW YOU

Ούτε σήμερα μπορώ να σας πω με βεβαιότητα ποιο θα ανακοινώσει για νούμερο 1 το BBC στην Βρετανία αφού η πρωτιά ανάμεσα στην Rita Ora και στην Cabello θα κριθεί στις λεπτομέρειες.
Αυτό που μπορώ να σας πω σίγουρα είναι πως την επόμενη παρασκευή η συνεργασία Craig David και Bastille θα γίνει Top 10 στην Αγγλία. Το "I Know You" είναι ένα αρκετά συμπαθητικό rnb jam με αρκετά στοιχεία electro που μπορεί να μην θέτουν πολύ ψηλά τον πήχη αλλά θα ανανεώσει ευχάριστα το playlist μας...
