RITA ORA ft FATBOY SLIM - PRAISING YOU (FATBOY SLIM REMIX)

 Although Rita Ora's brand new single "Praising You" is based on the iconic track "Praise You" by Fatboy Slim the creator's remix has nothing to do with the original sample.It seems that Fatboy Slim needed a pure dance and much closer to the dancefloors version skipping the defined sample in order to create something totally new.Maybe djs will prefer this raw remix for the dj sets but i m not sure if this version makes the difference.

RITA ORA ft FATBOY SLIM - PRAISING YOU

 I m not sure where Rita Ora stands in the pop world right now but her third album "You And I" will define the course of her music career.It's hard times for pop music and music of that genre in it's classic term seems to be outdated.Now great songs live forever and Fatboy Slim’s 1999 smash "Praise You" was an instant classic that still sounds fresh nearly a quarter century along, and it’s true of Take Yo’ Praise, Camille Yarborough’s 1975 funk-soul civil rights hymn, from which Norman "Fatboy Slim" Cook took the a capella introduction that forms the heart of his pop classic. Now this collab between Rita Ora and Fatboy Slim uses the classic melody in "Praising You", the spark is still there but i m not really sure if it will work.One thing is for sure....It feels good as a first impression but does it last?

EATS EVERYTHING ft FATBOY SLIM - BRISTOL TO BRIGHTON

 The history Fatboy Slim carries is unbelievable and expands from the British pop early 80's till today with massive hits on the way.There is another path from Bristol to Brighton which takes along with fellow dj and producer Eats Everything and it sounds like this.This is the second time these two collaborating only this time there vocals from Fatboy Slim on it.This is one of the dance tracks you should hear at least once..

FATBOY SLIM - ROCKAFELLER SKANK (TODD EDWARDS REMIX)

 I m not a big fan of remixes that changes the whole original scenario of a classsic just to make another remix. Club tunes are truing to compete wich one will have the strangest vibes or the most autistic rhythm to win a place at a dj set. All the above are not for the remix Todd Edwards did for "Rockafeller Skunk" but some of them fits. The Fatboy Slim classic gets a whole new identity in this one and is not my personal favourite but it needs to be reviewed. There i did it..

FAT BOY SLIMS & EATS EVERYTHING - ALL THE LADIES (12 INCH VERSION)

Τον πρώτο τον θαυμάζω με τον δεύτερο μπορώ να ταυτιστώ. Και αν η επιτυχία των χορευτικών τραγουδιών είναι κάτι που συνήθως μένει πίσω από τις πόρτες των clubs συνήθως, η συνεργασία αυτή είναι κάτι που σίγουρα δεν θα περάσει απαρατήρητη. Το "All The Ladies" είναι από τις πιο hot νέες κυκλοφορίες στον χώρο της χορευτικής μουσικής αν και η υποκειμενικότητα παίζει πάντοτε τον ρόλο της σε αυτά τα πράγματα.
