 If i haven't convinced you yet why you should put SG Lewis in your life then maybe his brand new album "Anemoia" will.And "Baby Blue" is a part of this album which is a strong and pretty convincing reason why this guy really worths it. "Baby Blue", is a disco-tinged collaboration with Oliver Sim of The xx, that captures the album’s balance between nostalgia and zeitgeist-capturing club culture.Sampling something from an 1978 old record the disco bliss explodes right away making this single one of the best songs from this week's new releases.

 You know how much i like SG Lewis who i think is so underrated in the music business as few.His latest album "Audiolust & Higherlove" has so many gems inside that in the future i m sure somehow they will be appreciated as they should.Last month an Ep with remixes on two tracks of the album has been released with this one being my favourite.Cosmo's Midnight are an Australian electronic music duo formed in 2012 in Sydney, New South Wales. The duo consists of twin brothers, Cosmo and Patrick Liney and their remix for "Lifetime" is stellar. Music for a lifetime here...

WHITNEY HOUSTON, SG LEWIS - I M EVERY WOMAN

 As 2022 becomes a past the 80s in music are all over the place in so many ways.To tell you the truth i m glad i was there from day one and lived all these great songs and music the day they were released.This cover in 1992 by Whitney Houston was a tribute not only to women but also to Chaka Khan who first released back in 1978.Whitney's version is considered one of her big hits and it's a part of the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" ost.Talented and underrated SG Lewis who i love dearly made a new version of  Houston's cover worthy to her legacy and totally a must play whenever you want to feel the magic Whitney brought to this world.

 Did you really think that i would left out the brand new SG Lewis single.This blog might promote the hit singles in the charts that may or not be a crap but also has great music and you know it.And i ve said more than once that SG Lewis is one of the most talented people in music out there.  I really don't know why SG Lewis is only a critics favourite and not a global music star. He should have been wanted by many big names to collaborate with him cause he is extremely talented and so underrated.We need vibes like this one and he has not only one but two singles released this week. This is the glossy one that matches the sound Calvin Harris used for his latest album."Vibe Like This" has TY Dolla Sign and Lucky Daye on vocals along with a groovy soul vibe. This single as his previous you found on the blog are going to be a part of his brand new album "AudioLust &HigherLove" out next January.Till then use this vibe it makes good to all ears...

 I refuse to blog Blankpink and "Venom" cause even in trash pop music there are limits. And since i have sit and waiting such good songs as this one there is no need to mess with already forgotten tunes.Few weeks back i have presented you the brand new release by SG Lewis.In fact half of the release since i picked "Missing You" for a review.Today and since i have the remix of the two track Ep it's time for some Cerrone magic in "Something About Your Love".You know that iconic disco producers like Cerrone have a great intuition in finding the real talented producers like SG Lewis or Purple Disco Machine. They don't do mistakes so leave Blankpink in peace and turn on the volume on this one...

ELTON JOHN & SG LEWIS - ORBIT

 Just in time Elton John's "Cold Heart" managed to hit number one last week cause Adele's "Easy On Me" came and swiped everything. His "Lockdown Sessions" is out and listening to the album it has some nice songs in it but the only one with potential to be a hit is this one. Of course there is a Christmas song on the way duet with Ed Sheeran that probably hit number one but "Orbit" is the most modern sound in Elton John's new album. Pnau was responsible for "Cold Heart" and SG Lewis who i admire and believe very much is responsible for the sound of "Orbit". Hopefully he will release it as a single. Do u hear me Elton?

BEE GEES - MORE THAN A WOMAN (SG'S PARADISE EDIT)

 Thanks to the satellites and the technology the blog will be around during my vacations starting tommorow. It may not be as frequent as the ordinary days but it will be around and that's a fact. And because i need something straight from the heaven i got a paradise edit made by the beloved SG Lewis. What more than a beautiful edit to a classic we all know and love. "More Than A Woman" by the Bee Gees shines again and will be on my baggages tomorrow along with my swim suit and hopefully my sun tan...

 Το BBC αποφάσισε να εντάξει το "One More" στο playlist του και ο Mark Knight να του κάνει ένα shiny remix. To τραγούδι το έχω παρουσιάσει στο blog εδώ και εβδομάδες βέβαια αλλά είναι η σειρά αυτού του remix που πραγματικά του κάνει ένα upgrade. Του δίνει αυτό το μοντέρνο disco vibe που εύκολα το κάνει από τα αγαπημένα μου dance anthems για τον μήνα που ξεκινάει αύριο. Εξαιρετικός στα remixes o Μark Knight που είναι και το φόρτε του..

Έχω μιλήσει αρκετές φορές από το blog για τον νεαρό Βρετανό και πόσο πολύ του αξίζει η επιτυχία. Μέσα από ένα album που έχει πολλές συνεργασίες το νέο του single "All We Have" είναι από τις προτάσεις που κάνει το blog χωρίς κανέναν ενδοιασμό...

 Σχεδόν έτοιμο είναι το νέο album του SG Lewis "Times" το οποίο ήδη έχει βγάλει μερικά singles και τώρα έχουμε ένα ακόμα. Έχω γράψει πόσο ταλαντούχος είναι ο SG Lewis αρκετές φορές στο blog και είναι από τους υποψήφια μεγάλα ονόματα στο μέλλον με τον οποίον όλοι θα θέλουν να συνεργαστούν. Άλλωστε δεν είναι τυχαίο που για το "One More" ο τεράστιος Nile Rodgers δανείζει τα κιθαριστικά φαλτσέτα του για να έχουμε αυτό disco bliss στα ηχεία μας.

SG LEWIS ft RHYE - TIMES

 Ένα από τα Βρετανικά ονόματα που θα πρέπει να γνωρίσει επιτυχία κάποια στιγμή είναι και ο SG Lewis. Αυτό θα συμβεί αν κάνει κάποια έκπτωση και γίνει λίγο πιο εμπορικός ή αν επιτέλους αρχίσουν και τα lounge dance tracks να έχουν την απαραίτητη υποστήριξη για να φτάσουν στο ευρύ κοινό. Μια νέα συνεργασία του είναι αυτή με τον Rhye για το "Times" το οποίο αφήνει μία disco soul αίσθηση που ταιριάζει και με το αναβοσβήσιμο στα χριστουγεννιάτικα λαμπάκια..

VICTORIA MONET, KHALID, SG LEWIS - EXPERIENCE

 

Υπάρχουν αρκετοί νέοι καλλιτέχνες που κάνουν καλό στην RnB και Soul μουσική που τόσο έχει λείψει από τα ραδιόφωνα. Η επιτυχία της Doja Cat που κατάφερε να γίνει super επιτυχία θα ανοίξει τον δρόμο και σε άλλους όπως η Victoria Monet η οποία με το "Experience" έχει αναλάβει να συνεχίσει αυτή την ανοδική πορεία. Μαζί της και ο Khalid ο οποίος έχει καταφέρει και αυτός να γίνει διεθνής αλλά και ο SG Lewis που δείχνει  οτι έχει τα vibes για να ακούμε αξιόλογα πράγματα. Μακάρι τις επόμενες εβδομάδες να φουντώσει το πράγμα και με αυτό εδώ..

SG LEWIS ft ROBYN & CHANNEL TRES - IMPACT

Αν είστε ακόλουθοι στην σελίδα του Sound Fist στο Facebook θα είστε από τους πρώτους που θα αποκτήσετε ίσως την καλύτερη κυκλοφορία της εβδομάδας από τον SG Lewis που έχει επιστρατεύσει την Robyn για το νέο του single "Impact". Πρόκειται για ένα dance anthem από αυτά που ξεχωρίζουν με το πρώτο άκουσμα και αυτό δύσκολα μπορεί να το αμφισβητήσει κανείς. Τώρα το αν θα γνωρίσει επιτυχία έχουνε δει πολλά τα μάτια μου και δεν μπορώ να είμαι απόλυτα σίγουρος. Μακάρι είναι το μόνο που μπορώ να πω αλλά είναι τόσο περίεργα τα πράγματα στους καταλόγους επιτυχιών που οι προβλέψεις γίνονται μόνο ευχές. Πάντως ο SG Lewis έχει χτυπήσει jack pot με αυτό εδώ έτσι κι αλλιώς...
