 I really like Nothing But Thieves cause they are different.Their sound reminds me a lot of the electronic rock sound of the 80s from groups like The Cars.Their last year's album gets a deluxe treatment with an extended version set to arrive on March 15."Dead Club City Deluxe" will feature three new chapters to add to the album’s universe "Oh No :: He Said What?’", "Time :: Fate :: Karma :: God"and "Pure You" as well as stripped-back versions of two of the original album’s singles: "Overcome" and "Tomorrow Is Closed'.Get a strong 80's synth dose from this one and enjoy good music.

 Ariana DeBose, Boy George and Nile Rodgers have teamed up for "Electric Energy", the disco-infused bop featured in Matthew Vaughn’s movie "Argylle".The song can be heard at the end credits with a video with cameos from the movie cast.As for the song’s retro disco vibe, Rodgers learned that Vaughn and the songwriting team (Gary Barlow, Stuart Price and Lorne Balfe) were inspired by Disco star Sylvester when writing the lyrics.Not really a fan of this Rodger's production but the movie probably will boost this release...

Oh boy oh boy oh boy...I m not a hater of rappers but when female rappers are using their "goodies" to promote their songs and "that language" to diss their haters or whatever an instant dislike chokes me to tears.Megan Thee Stallion is in her IDGAF era and that's why she is going to disappear sooner or later.The question is what legacy will leave behing and for now there is none.Now why should i care for a song that is used to diss some people and put it on my speakers unless i have something personal with them too.Now currently "Hiss" is trending in the USA but for how long?The song is projected to make the highest new entry on next week's Billboard Hot 100 and then it will flop like the toilet paper down the drain.Why bother more?

 There is a sad story behind this release and the surprising success of "Dance You Outta My Head". MUMFORD AND SONS & PHARRELL WILLIAMS - GOOD PEOPLE

 This is a rather odd partenership.Folk-rock band Mumford And Sons return to music after more than a 4 year hiatus with their first single from their upcoming album.The group debuted the uplifting song yesterday during Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton menswear autumn/winter runway show at Paris Fashion Week."Good People" was recorded with Pharrell in New York and Paris. They enlisted Native Vocalists, a six-piece vocal choir from the U.S. and Canada hailing from Native American Tribes within the Northern Great Plains, to feature on the track.This mix of gospel and native traditional sounds is a serious turn for Mumford And Sons that makes this release rather interesting.The group is now a trio instead of a quartet following the departure of guitarist and banjo player Winston Marshall. Marshall stepped away from the band in 2021 but Pharrell stepped in to guide the band to a whole new music universe.

 I think that Brazilian Alok deserves this year a crossover hit.So far he has managed to create a prestigious name of his own, everybody in dance music knows him but without a chart hit so far.For his first single of 2024 he teams up with Bebe Rexha marking her first single of the year as well for the release of "Deep In Your Love".And as expected a sample was necessary so they used something that many know from 2001's mega dance anthem "Chase The Sun" by Planet Funk.What many don't know is that the melody originally belongs to Ennio Moriconne's "Alla Luce Del Giorno" from 1969."Deep In Your Love" it's easy to use almost everywhere so you might see it rise the next weeks.
