GALA - FREED FROM DESIRE 2024 (DIPLO EDIT)

 There are some songs that not only were hits when they released but they expanded their influence throughout the years for some reason.Gala's "Freed From Desire" due to it's infectious lala hook became a football anthem and an overall classic rare for a dance song.Originally released in 1996 Gala has re-recorded renewing the song's spirit for a new generation.Diplo made this new edit which captures in a more rave way the essence of this classic.

HUGEL & DIPLO ft MALOU & YUNA - FOREVER

 Not the first time these two dance electronic wizards are collaborating and probably not the last.The track "Forever" is a unique blend of engaging narrative and rich sonic landscape. It features circular piano chords, rolling tribal drums, and vibrant percussive elements, all underscored by deep basslines. The heartfelt vocal performances by Malou and Yuna add a depth to the song's emotional appeal, making it a truly captivating experience for the listeners.Hugel and Diplo are up to for another banger this winter and one of the top choices among the djs.

 Daniel Pitout, known professionally as Orville Peck, is a South African queer country musician based in the United States and Canada.And since country music comes from all around, this dance country collab with Kylie Minogue and Diplo is a "Midnight Ride" on a music bull. The anthemic track comes off Peck’s forthcoming LP, "Stampede", a follow-up to his recent duets collection "Stampede Vol. 1".In a poor quality new music week releases this one is already making some waves in the Uk.The question is for how long.

THE OUTFIELD & DIPLO - YOUR LOVE (DIPLO REMIX)

 This song is probably one of my favourite rock tracks from the 80s."Your Love" released in 1985 and was the closest thing to The Police sound ever made.Sadly lead singer Tony Lewis died in 2020 at the age of 62 but his voice still rings every time i hear this track.In a world that everything can be turned into a dance track Diplo made this remix used by him at his latest dj sets and i was really surprised when i first heard it.I don't know if the remix is too good or i love this song so much the truth is i m kinda play this on repeat.

DIPLO & RIVA STARR ft KAREEN LOMAX - HEAVEN OR NOT

 This one marks the fourth collaboration between Diplo and Lomax, only this time he has London DJ and producer Riva Starr on board.Diplo has been building excitement around "Heaven or Not" for months teasing it and the reaction after the first week of it's release puts it among the top dance tunes in the Uk.It seems that after the legal problems and the allegations against him Diplo is focusing on working hard creating one dance anthem after another and this could also break through the mainhstream radios.

 The fast rising dj, the man on demand right now Zerb made a remix for Diplo's single "Stay High".The characteristic synth sounds Zerb is using upgrades this release to higher standards in my opinion making it one of the top choices this week.Back in November was the original release of the song that uses as a sample Tove Lo's "Habits (Stay High)" in case you are wondering.Hugel and Julia Church must be thrilled with this outcome..

 Diplo is on a disturbing cyclone lately which continued this week with new allegations that he distributed revenge porn.So i don't know if country star Maren Morris did well right now to jump on one of his new tracks.Nonetheless "42" co-written by Ryan Tedder is the latest Diplo release marking their first collab between Diplo and Maren Morris on the producer's field that knows very well.It's a nice song that would have another potential in different time.

 It's obvious in the US that if you want to have a chart success you have to be a lot of country these days and if you add a small dose of rap then your chances are increasing.Never before country music was that popular as it is today.This brand new single by Diplo does exactly that embarking country rising star Jessie Murph and the rap star Polo G."Heartbroken" is made for the USA market mostly but you never know if it crosses the other side due to country's popularity.

 Now tell me one good reason why this song didn't become a hit.In the future someone will discover it, use it in anyway and then it will be appreciated as it should be.There is a package of remixes with this soulful extended remix by Dj Fudge being the one that stole my heart."Use Me" is made for many uses so go on and add it in your summer playlist.Not too many good songs like this one are perfect for an everyday use.

 Diplo recently performed his latest single on The Voice season 23 finale along with rising pop country star Lily Rose and made quite an impression.Sometimes all it takes for a single to rise up the charts is a boost from the media and the rest will follow."Sad In The Summer" is a summer heartbreak song, with the main character begging their lover to stay until summer is over. There's Western influence, with a humming fiddle carrying the track, and an element of EDM, but it doesn't overwhelm the song's country influence.Diplo is a hitmaker whether the media supports or not...

 Diplo is launching the Thomas Wesley reboot..The country persona Diplo has created is about to launch a new album and "Use Me (Brutal Hearts)" is the first single featuring Dove Cameron and Sturgill Simpson “reborn” under the name Johnny Blue Skies.On the music video for the song there is a surprise since Sean Penn and Dove Cameron are starring trading sultry verses in a Western-style strip club and rodeo bar."Use Me (Brutal Hearts)" is set to appear on Diplo’s upcoming country project, Diplo Presents "Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant", out April 28.Now what i like on this one is that is different in a disco way but different.And everything that is not a copy paste sound gets my interest.

DIPLO ft KODAK BLACK & KOE WETZEL - WASTED

 As a teenager from early 80s till early 90s i was giving all my money on buying vinyl records especially singles but many albums too.Since there are many vinyl lovers on Tik Tok (you can follow me there too by the name Hitmaster) i have decided to relocate all my records from my parents home to where i live and start making short history music lessons with the item i love most.I see many vinyl lovers are collecting all vinyl editions of todays artists with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Harry Styles winning by far all of your attention.By the way Taylor Swift with "Anti Hero" is going to delay SZA one more week from the top spot on Billboard.Collecting vinyl records and music is an addiction where everything is excused like in every collection no matter what it is.Since my love for music continues i made this blog and i still keep enjoying music releases from every genre.There are not too many that are obsessed with music and keep tracking the charts but since you are a regular here i guess we are the same.

Now Diplo is fluid.He can be transformed almost into anything in music and his brand new release with Kodak Black and Koe Wetzel is the perfect example.This is a modern rock track in my ears with some country elements in it and to tell you the truth it sounds very descent. I dont think this one will make a major charting tour but still it;s a nice touch on your playlist.

 I still can't comprehend why "Don't Forget My Love" never reached the top 10 charts at least in the Uk.Diplo's dance anthem is one of the best so far this year and John Dummit adds a great remix for all djs and dance lovers. I can only imagine that in a big room with the right dbs and lights making the atmosphere unforgetable. This is a must for any playlist...

 Diplo has released his brand new album which is full of collaborations.Multiple singles has surfaced but i l stick to "Don't Forget My Love" which is one of my favourites electronic dance singles these days. The Burns remix doesn't make it better only a little bit different.It's realy a pitty this song appears only in the electronic/edm charts so far. Maybe future TikTok videos will discover it and spread the the good feeling it provides...

DIPLO & PAUL WOOLFORD ft KAREEN LOMAX - PROMISES

 Diplo is the second harder working man in the music industry after David Guetta and the releases with his name on the credits are many. The previous collab with Paul Woolford created "Heat" which was a club banger and one of the dance tracks of the year in my opinion. This time we have "Promises" with Kareen Lomax on vocals. The outcome is a nice soulful dance house track maybe not as good as the previous but still noticeable. I prefer this one from some others with the same dance stigma...

I like keepingas a surprise the new releases cause except the obvious ones you all get from minute one there are some others that need some listen and a evaluation by the blogger to be revealed at the blog. In how many blogs did you find this one as a must listen. Of course the original version can be found on my blog several weeks ago but now i have the remix package of "Don't Be Affraid" and this one made a quite impression to me. Blu Detiger provides a soul funky version that sounds very eclectic and adds to the original a quality that is hard to overlook..
