 Living country legend Dolly Parton deserves any respect no matter what kind of music you like.Celebrating her 80th birthday she released a new rendition of her classic "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" released 50 years ago. Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire are featured on this all star new version which serves as a charity single for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The single and music video, which also features David Foster on piano and The Christ Church Choir on backing vocals is already at the highest itunes chart positions both in USA and in the Uk. This recording reimagines the song with a message of spreading love and hope and she deserves not only a happy birthday but our respect.

DOLLY PARTON & MANESKIN - JOLENE

 Another odd music pairing but Dolly Parton is so universal that can even get Maneskin for a brand new version of her iconic "Jolene". I knew for many weeks now that her deluxe version of her "Rockstar" album will include this unique duet with the Italians and now that is here fans of both artist rejoyce. But apart from this cover there is also another one between them this time covering Eddie Money's 1997 song "Two Tickets To Paradise". Double the pleasure and a "rock" version of "Jolene" is all we needed.

DOLLY PARTON & BELINDA CARLISLE, CYNDI LAUPER, GLORIA ESTEFAN, DEBBIE HARRY - GONNA BE YOU

 I don't even dare to write about these names.This A-Team of iconic female singers has joined a Dolly Parton single for the soundtrack of the movie "80 for Brady". And guess what today is Dolly Parton's birthday who recently have joined the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame cause she had offered so much in music all these decades and she still does.Later today is going to release another new single but for now let's stick to "Gonna Be You".Now let's begin with Belinda Carlisle the iconic Go Go's singer who soon is going to release a brand new single after years away.Then we have Cyndi Lauper the perfect "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" pop girl with massive hits in the 80's and 90s.Who doesn't love Gloria Estefan the first female latin star long before JLO and all the others.And finally the mega Blondie singer Debbie Harry that shaped all other pop rock female singers.All these female personas are under this Dianne Warren composition but the result apart from all this galaxy is poor.But just seeing this line up is dazzling.

 This is a totally reimagined version of a song that gave Dolly Parton her first number one hit and an Oscar nomination for "9 To 5".This new version will be featured also on a documentary about the making of the comedy called "Still Working 9 To 5".Although almost everyone knows the iconic original version of the 1980 hit i think i kinda like this new version quite a lot.A whole different song with a new music arragenment that seeks your ears.If you haven;t heard the original i think you should..

Πέραν τούτου το αποτέλεσμα δεν είναι κάτι το ιδιαίτερο ακουστικά πέραν από μία ανακύκλωση των γνωστών με τα γνωστά edm τρικάκια που δύσκολα με πείθουν...
