 Calvin Harris is about to unleash "Funk Wav Bounces Vol 2" and we have already heard two tracks from this release. Perhaps the most talk about collab is the one with Justin Timberlake, Halsey and Pharrell all in one track. The line up may be fire but as you will hear (follow Sound Fist Facebook page) this funky tune called "Stay With Me" doesn't match the buzz.I think Calvin Harris is trying to mess with a genre that doesn't fit his abillities."Potion" remains the best one yet from this release but still it doesn't get the attention even if Dua Lipa is the hottest name around..

Δεν ξέρω αν είχε στο μυαλό του να κατασκευάσει ένα νέο "Happy" αλλά αν το είχε δεν του βγήκε. Εντελώς παιδικό για μία παιδική ταινία που δεν έχει καμία θέση στην ζωή των μεγάλων...

SZA & JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - THE OTHER SIDE

Δεν νομίζω πως οι περισσότεροι θα βάλετε να ακούσετε το συγκεκριμένο για την SZA αλλά για τον Justin. Άλλωστε η επιτυχία που προέκυψε από το πρώτο ost του "Trolls" με το "Can't Stop The Feeling" δίνει ένα boost στο πρώτο single από το ost του "Trolls World Tour" που είναι το δεύτερο μέρος της ταινίας. To ost το έχει επιμεληθεί ο ίδιος ο Timberlake με διάφορους καλλιτέχνες και το ντουέτο του με την SZA σε παραγωγή του Max Martin είναι ένα good feel αλλά μέχρι εκεί. Βλέπω οριακά την επιτυχία του "The Other Side" το οποίο δεν διεκδικεί δάφνες super hit κατά την γνώμη μου...

MEEK MILL ft JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - BELIEVE

Φαντάζομαι πως ο λόγος που θα πατήσετε το play σε αυτό εδώ είναι ο Justin Timberlake και όχι ο Meek Mill. Θα πω πως είναι έξυπνη η επιλογή του Justin να προσεγγίσει στην Αμερική το κοινό που κάνει τους μεγαλύτερους stars αυτή την περίοδο και όχι την pop. Επίσης θα πω πως έχει και χριστιανική προέκταση το "Believe" που είναι άλλη μία παράμετρος που πρέπει να ληφθεί υπόψιν. Το hook που έχει αναλάβει ο Justin στο νέο single του Meek Mill που είναι από τους ανερχόμενους είναι εξαιρετικό και από αυτά που μένουν στο αυτί. Η επιτυχία του είναι δεδομένη στο USA ενώ φαντάζομαι πως και στον υπόλοιπο πλανήτη θα κάνει αισθητή την παρουσία του Άλλο θα είναι το global hit όμως για φέτος και το έχω πει εδώ και εβδομάδες. Το "Roses" του Saint Jhn...Τα υπόλοιπα θα παρακολουθούν...

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - SOULMATE

Για να μην κρυβόμαστε και πίσω από το δάχτυλο μας το τελευταίο album του Justin δεν θεωρείτε επιτυχία για τα standards του αφού δεν έβγαλε κάποια μεγάλη επιτυχία την οποία θα θυμόμαστε στο μέλλον. Ίσως για αυτό και αποφάσισε να κυκλοφορήσει από το πουθενά νέο single το οποίο και αυτό δεν ακούγεται ως global hit. Μπορεί το "Soulmate" να είναι συμπαθητικό και ευχάριστο στο άκουσμα του αλλά δεν κάνει την διαφορά. Και μπορεί το τραγούδι να ξεκινάει με ένα summer starts now για εμάς πάντως έχει ξεκινήσει πολύ νωρίτερα τόσο σαν θερμοκρασίες όσο και μουσικά...

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE ft CHRIS STAPLETON - SAY SOMETHING

Είπαμε τρία singles πριν το album και το superbowl και αυτό είναι το τρίτο και καλύτερο νομίζω. Μαζί με το πολύ ανερχόμενο αστέρι της country στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες τον Chris Stapleton το "Say Something" δεν είναι περίεργο, τραγουδιέται εύκολα και είναι ένα ωραίο μείγμα pop με country στοιχεία που δεν απευθύνεται σε cowboys. Νομίζω πως η αποδοχή αυτού του single θα είναι καλύτερη από τα υπόλοιπα και θα απογειώσει κυρίως τον Stapleton...

Ήταν γνωστό ότι πριν από την εμφάνιση του στο superbowl ο Justin θα κυκλοφορούσε 3 singles μέσα από το επερχόμενο album του και το "Supplies" είναι το δεύτερο δείγμα. Δεν ξέρω αν είναι δική μου αίσθηση άλλα έχω την εντύπωση πως ο Justin το έχει χάσει λίγο το θέμα με περίεργους πειραματισμούς που μέχρι στιγμής δεν του έχουν βγει. Γιατί τόσο το "Filthy" αλλά τόσο και αυτό που θα ακούσετε σήμερα είναι μακριά από τον καλό του εαυτό. Δεν μπορεί κάποιο από τα τραγούδια του album θα είναι κάτι καλύτερο από αυτά αλλά μέχρι στιγμής δεν νομίζω πως είναι κάποιος ιδιαίτερα ευχαριστημένος...

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - FILTHY

H αναμονή ΤΕΛΟΣ!!! Αυτόν τον μήνα ο Justin θα έχει περισσότερα singles απ όσα είχε την τελευταία τριετία και βάλε. Το νέο του album "Man Of The Woods" είναι ήδη έτοιμο και θα κυκλοφορήσει στις αρχές Φεβρουαρίου. Πρώτο single το "Filthy" το οποίο θα πουλήσει από μόνο του ακόμα και αν είχε μία νότα μέσα. Είναι καλό όμως; Η πρώτη μου εντύπωση είναι πως θα μπορούσε να είναι πολύ καλύτερο αν και έχει το γνωστό groove που θα περίμενες από αυτόν αλλά είναι ταυτόχρονα και περίεργο. Δεν νομίζω ότι φτάνει μόνο ένα dance funky groove αν δεν μπορείς να το τραγουδήσεις και να ριζώσει στα χείλη σου. Αυτή ξαναλέω είναι η πρώτη μου εντύπωση η οποία μπορεί και να αλλάξει. Άλλωστε για την εμφάνιση του στο superbowl μια χαρά θα λειτουργήσει αφού είναι νέος Justin!!! Περιμένω και τα επόμενα singles μήπως και υπάρξει κάτι καλύτερο..
