 This is the first post i make for this year's Eurovision and i think it won't be the last.The Italian entry this year will be from an artist that is huge in Italy.Marco Mengoni has sold million of albums and he is considered one of the best singers in his country.The thing with the language have stopped many Italians from doing an international career or have chart success in other countries but it's a thing they have in general with the English language.The fact that the Italian entry is being chosen by winning one of the most distinguished festivals ever the one in San Remo gives this entry a credibility that other entries don't have.And remember the most successful songs from last year's Eurovion "Snap" by Rosa Linn was in the bottom of last year's rank. Now "Due Vite" sounds like a nice old school ballad but i m really not a big fan of this song.

 Vivie Ann Bakos is a Canadian producer better known by her stage name Blond:ish.This release might be the most interesting this week for so many reasons.First of all by using Madonna's name at the credits means that she has her approval.Secondly this idea making Madonna's "Sorry" a modern electronic dance jam with pitched down vocals made the 2005 original brand new and tottaly a bliss. I will dare to say that with the proper promotion this one could become a global hit and very well deserved too...

 Blogging with a flue is not the easiest thing to do but since i m under a fever pill now let's try to say a few words about this remix."Lavender Haze" was from day one the favourite track from the album for almost every Taylor Swift fan.And now it's the time to promote this song as a single with every possible way.I m sure that pretty soon we ll have more remixes for Swift's second single and this one is a rather commercial dance aspect that i m not very sure i really fond.It needs something closer to the original vibe to make this song sound better than it already is..

 Since we are celebrating lately albums and songs from the past a 20 year deluxe edition of the second Linkin Park "Meteora" seems like a nice idea.Especially when an unreleased song headlines this release."Lost" comes straight out of the "Numb" era that made Linkin Park a global group selling millions of copies.I really can't believe that this blaster was lost and never been relesed.Who made this decision and why.Apparently he must have been deaf...

TOVE LO - BORDERLINE

I have to comment this.I see pop addicts, music analysts mostly on Tik Tok and in other blogs praising today's pop icons like Tove Lo and that's ok.The thing is that they don't have the background of what pop music was 3-4 decades ago and mostly they haven't lived it like i did.It's only natural to feel that artists like Tove Lo are exceptional comparing today's pop music.I like Tove Lo too and i think she should be a pop star riding the charts but she is not.She is a star among pop lovers and not world wide star.Now her brand new single "Borderline" has Dua Lipa as a co writer on this song that sounds very much like a "Future Nostalgia" outtake.Things will be approached from the media differently if Dua Lipa was the singer and that's really too bad cause this is very good pop song for today's standards.
