SUB FOCUS, CULTURE SHOCK, FRAGMA - MIRACLE

 Sub Focus is the high priest of dnb and Culture Shock his offspring.On the other hand "Toca's Miracle" from 2001 by Fragma remains an epic and very influential this year anthem that many chose to update.Being reimagined in a drum n bass way by Uk's finest is something that should definitely be in your acoustic field this summer not to mention the dance pulse it brings for the two case factors that makes it irresistible.It still goes under the radar for many although it's a massive tune.

MORGAN SEATREE & FLORENCE & THE MACHINE - SAY MY NAME (SUB FOCUS REMIX)

 For several weeks now Manchester-based producer Morgan Seatree has been bubbling hot with this remix on  Florence's 2011 track "Spectrum" turning it into "Say My Name".This dancefloor-ready, electro-pop lens, blending old-school Chicago house grooves with a modern, club-friendly pulse eventually needed something more to make more impact on the charts.So a remix on the remix by Sub Focus exploded "Say My Name" to new standards with a heavy dose of Drum N Bass  infusion that seems to work pretty well in this case.Boom...!!!

 Yes it's real....The "Reworks I" by Sub Focus is out and it's a great way to reimagine some of the early stuff from Sub Focus. This ten track album has some great stuff in it and "Could This Be Real" is only one example of what you can find. If dance music is your thing then you must consider that artists like Sub Focus has always something good to offer in your dj set. The rest of us we just make our playlists better..

RAG N BONE MAN - ALL YOU EVER WANTED (SUB FOCUS REMIX)

 Να πω την αμαρτία μου το νέο single του Rag N Bone Man δεν μου άρεσε γι αυτό και από την μέρα κυκλοφορίας του δεν το άκουσα ξανά. Ο ίδιος πάντως κάνει ότι μπορεί για να σώσει ότι σώζεται από αυτή την κυκλοφορία με τηλεοπτικές εμφανίσεις κυρίως ερμηνεύοντας το νέο του single κίνηση η οποία έχει βελτιώσει τις πωλήσεις του αλλά και πάλι θέλει πολύ δρόμο. Το νέο του album θα κυκλοφορήσει τέλος Απριλίου και έως τότε θα έχουμε και δεύτερο δείγμα. Μέσα στο παιχνίδι πάντως είναι και τα remixes που μπορούν να "σπρώξουν" ένα τραγούδι και οι Sub Focus κάνουν ότι drum n bass μπορούν..

SUB FOCUS & WILKINSON - AIR I BREATH

Δύο ονόματα που έχουν πάει την drum n bass στα καλύτερα της. Το τρίτο single που κυκλοφορούν και που πέρα από την δημοτικότητα του συγκεκριμένου genre είναι από αυτά που λατρεύεις να ακούς στα ηχεία σου και να πατάς το play ξανά και ξανά. Όλα αυτά αν είσαι βέβαια ανοιχτόμυαλος και όχι εγκλωβισμένος στις μουσικές παρωπίδες που δεν σε αφήνουν να ξεβουλώσεις τα αυτιά σου...

SUB FOCUS & WILKINSON - JUST HOLD ON

Κοιτάζω την ανταπόκριση των νέων singles από μεγάλα ονόματα τις τελευταίες μέρες και είναι πραγματικά απογοητευτικά. Η μουσική που φτιάχνουν δεν περνάει στο κοινό και όσα καταφέρουν να γνωρίσουν μία σχετική επιτυχία ξεφουσκώνει εύκολα. Υπάρχουν πολλά παιδιά εκεί έξω όπως ο Sub Focus και ο Wilkinson που ενίοτε φτιάχνουν πολύ όμορφη μουσική για τα ηχεία σου. Και όμως δεν υπάρχει ο υποστηρικτικός μηχανισμός πέραν κάποιων dj και blogs άντε και μερικά εναλλακτικά ραδιόφωνα για να προβάλουν τραγούδια όπως το "Just Hold On". Γι αυτό πασχίζω και εγώ από το δικό μου μετερίζι. Να σας βάζω και τα μεν και τα δε για να καταλαβαίνεται την διαφορά. Και δεν εννοώ στα μουσικά είδη αλλά στο ενδιαφέρον που παρουσιάζουν σαν σύνθεση, σαν μεράκι, σαν ιδέα. Βάλτε τους στην ζωή σας ανοίξτε τα αυτιά σας και μην κοιτάτε ονόματα...
