 The period that Miley Cyrus was Hannah Montana was not my favourite.A brand new song that was originally featured on the show’s 20th anniversary special, which recently aired on Disney+ is one of the new releases this week.She said that this release is a way to thank the audience for the shared journey and the years they grew up together, expressing her love for those who supported her from the beginning.This is a nice country-like ballad that will probably get in touch with the audience around the world.Lyrically, the song touches on themes of growth, loss, and self-discovery, with intense emotional charge.Although i like the new Cyrus overall this "get in touch" with her younger self is kinda interesting.

DOLLY PARTON ft LAINEY WILSON, MILEY CYRUS, QUEEN LATIFAH, REBA McENTIRE - LIGHT OF A CLEAR BLUE MORNING

 Living country legend Dolly Parton deserves any respect no matter what kind of music you like.Celebrating her 80th birthday she released a new rendition of her classic "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" released 50 years ago. Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah and Reba McEntire are featured on this all star new version which serves as a charity single for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The single and music video, which also features David Foster on piano and The Christ Church Choir on backing vocals is already at the highest itunes chart positions both in USA and in the Uk. This recording reimagines the song with a message of spreading love and hope and she deserves not only a happy birthday but our respect.

MILEY CYRUS - DREAM AS ONE (FROM AVATAR FIRE AND ASH)

 Since Miley Cyrus decided to enter the Pandora world then in terms of hype this new ost theme has the potential for an Oscar nominee and a high chart position.Since i m an gen-x-er i have heard glorious movie themes and this one it's just ok.I needed something more epic or maybe my mind doesn't recognize it as one of them.In any case you will be the ones to judge if "Dream As One" as the new original song for the new Avatar movie that is more than three hours to watch is worth playing on repeat.The song will probably be heard at the end titles but if it scores through the movie then it will be a plus.For now the Facebook Sound Fist page is where it can be found but if you want to wait in few hours it will be all over the place.

MILEY CYRUS ft LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM & MICK FLEETWOOD - SECRETS

 Miley Cyrus not very successful "Something Beautiful" era gets an expanded version with two new songs one with Fleetwood Mac legendary members Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood and one with Talking Heads David Byrne. "Secrets" which serves as the brand new single got the two titans from Fleetwood Mac playing in it and it was written as a birthday gift for Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus.The song is in a total Fleetwood Mac mood with Miley sounding like Stevie Nicks a lot and the production being closest to an 70s early 80s era.The song is really good but i m curious to see what will be the respond by the audience and the media.

MILEY CYRUS - EASY LOVER

 In the end i didn't like in general the brand new Miley Cyrus "Something Beautiful".None of the singles from her sophomore ninth album made an impact and the same will probably happen with the brand new "Easy Lover".The song offers a vintage texture that goes perfectly with Cyrus’ raspy vocals and it is currently revolving at the center of everyone’s attention..This genre-fluid musical creation is a complete blend of rock, pop, jazz, and many other styles but in the end i feel that there is something missing.Not bad but more or less indifferent...

 Miley Cyrus new album is set to drop May 30. And she’s already teased what to expect with singles "Something Beautiful" and "End of the World". I don't know why so far "End Of The World" hasn't peaked higher chart places but everything happens in music.Let's wait for the release of the movie-album and see if that will boost the singles including the brand new "More To Lose".This is a piano driven ballad that usually fail in the charts but are being used in song contests or high profile galas.Miley proved she can sing anything and "More To Lose" is built around her quality singing abilities.

 That's more like it and a proper single for Miley and the rest of the world.After the first bitter introduction to her new album with "Something Beautiful" here comes the sweetener "End Of The World" that somehow sounds like the next part or an answer to "Die With A Smile".This is Miley's pop side that we all love and adore that will serve so much better on the radio and on the charts."End Of The World" is a pop-rock song about partying during the apocalypse. Not as much impressed when i first heard "Flowers" but i guess it will eventually grow if the radio will embrace it with a power play.

 If you expected delicate, pretty music from Miley Cyrus’s new album, "Something Beautiful", think again.Miley decided to "go up against the stream" with something that sounds pretty experimental and the only thing "pretty" about the title track and its music video is that it’s pretty explosive!!!"Something Beautiful” starts as as soulful love song only to be transformed to an experimental-rock number. There is no way for this one to chart like "Flowers" not to mention that if the rest of the album is compiled by such sounds it is destined to fail.This project is going to be a visual album so the interest might move to the optical theatrical feeling it might bring.I really like Miley but she moves in mysterious ways...

MILEY CYRUS - PSYCHO KILLER

 We have already heard a couple of songs from the Talking Heads tribute album "Stop Making Sense" but when it comes to Miley Cyrus making a cover to the super classic "Psycho Killer" then the interest increases.Cyrus and Byrne have some history since the pair connected onstage during Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, celebrating the start of 2023. During the show, the duo performed David Bowie’s "Let’s Dance" and Byrne’s own "Everybody’s Coming To My House".This redition of "Psycho Killer" it's not a pure cover since Miley changed a lot from the main melody keeping the basic basslines but the song sounds pretty different.I m not sure that i m ok with that but i have to respect this artistic approach.

 The intro is a characteristic one heard in almost all Pharrell Williams productions only to be followed by Miley getting into the main course of this collaboration.Miley Cyrus had the most successful song last year with "Flowers" and she is determined to repeat it with her first release in 2024.Cyrus is rumored to have first recorded the song during sessions for her "Bangerz" album.In December 2017, it surfaced online via leaks but this is an updated recording this January.Although this song may sound like a banger to many i don't think it will manage to reach the classic status that "Flowers" created in all levels.However soon this song is going to be all around the radios....

 The common practice is to re-release their latest albums adding some new music on it.So why not for Miley Cyrus latest album adding a new song "Used To Be Young".Cyrus explained, "This song is about honoring who we’ve been, loving who we are and celebrating who we will become".Although it's a very emotional song spinning the song a couple of times trying to get connection with it that didn't happen.For now i ll stick to that and i ll be waiting for something more catchy.

 Few songs are that good and spend so many weeks at the top around the world.The "Flowers" era slowly comes to an end as if from tomorrow comes the new single "River" and the new album "Endless Summer Vacation".Well mine starts today cause it happens to have the album and if you follow Sound Fist Facebook page you ll get the brand new single.This is the Lady Gaga version of Miley Cyrus who she is aiming to a global pop icon.This will be a dance banger and get million more fans at her feet.The follow-up to Cyrus’ 2020 LP Plastic Hearts was recorded in Los Angeles with producers Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson.The album will get the number one spot next week.Is "River" her second number one from the album?

 To tell you the truth just as much as i disliked Miley Cyrus at her start of her career the same and even more i liked her in her last album.It seems that Miley has grown up as an artist and provides great music for the genre she reresents.Her ability to get into the shoes in almost into any genre gives her a flexibility that i really like at the present time.It seems that her brand new album is going to be as great as the last one just as long to hear her brand new single "Flowers" that is a pure bliss.Give your self some self love and start some "Endless Summer Vacation" with Miley showing the way.For me she is the queen of pop music right now.I want "Flowers" everywhere starting now...

 Miley Cyrus first ever live album is a gift to the fans and includes 20 songs across every era along with 2 new songs performed live."You" is the one she decided to release as a single and soon "Attention" the second new song i guess will follow. Listening to "You" a ballad that reaches the country rock blues boundaries didn't impress me much to tell the truth.There i said my opinion of this single release by Miley that i really appreciate after her last album.

MILEY CYRUS & ELTON JOHN ft WATT, ROBERT TRUJILLO, CHAD SMITH & YO-YO MA - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS

 Δεν ξέρω αν το έχω γράψει ποτέ στο blog αλλά τα τρία πιο αγαπημένα μου albums όλων των εποχών είναι το "Purple Rain" του Prince το "Nothing Like The Sun" του Sting και το "Black" album των Metallica. Βγάλε εσύ συμπέρασμα τώρα τι μουσική μου αρέσει...

Τώρα αν σου πω πως η μεταμόρφωση της Miley Cyrus σε αυτό που είναι σήμερα και ειδικά με το τελευταίο της album μ αρέσει τρελά δεν θα είναι ψέμα. Το να συμμετέχει η Miley με τον Elton John στο piano τον Robert Trujillo των Metallica στην κιθάρα και όλους τους υπόλοιπους σε μία από τις διασκευές αυτού του ύμνου που ονομάζεται "Nothing Else Matters" είναι τεράστιο treat. Και λέω μία από τις διασκευές γιατί θα υπάρχουν πολλές. Για να βάλω τα πράγματα στην θέση τους στις 10 Σεπτεμβρίου θα κυκλοφορήσει ξανά το "Black" album των Metallica με διασκευές στα τραγούδια του album από διάφορους καλλιτέχνες και όχι μόνο μία φορά. Έτσι θα υπάρχουν πχ 6 διασκευές στο "Enter Sandman, 12 στο "Nothing Else Matters" μία εκ των οποίων είναι και η διασκευή του Dave Gahan των Depeche Mode που πεθαίνω να ακούσω, 7 του "Sad But True" and so on...Όλη η κυκλοφορία θα είναι σε ένα συλλεκτικό box set με διάφορα καλούδια ενώ το πρώτο δείγμα που σου παρουσιάζω σήμερα περιττό να σου πω πως παίζει συνέχεια...

THE KID LAROI & MILEY CYRUS - WITHOUT YOU

 Έχω δηλώσει εδώ και μήνες πως το αγαπώ αυτό το τραγούδι πολύ πριν γίνει επιτυχία στην Ευρώπη και την Αυστραλία και πιθανόν τώρα και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες αφού το σπρώξιμο το ανέλαβε η Miley Cyrus που ξέρει πάρα πολύ καλά τι κάνει το τελευταίο διάστημα και το γουστάρω εκατο τοις εκατό. Το τραγούδι ήταν slow burner στο Billboard και χρειαζόταν αυτό το κάτι παραπάνω για να πειστούν τα αμερικανάκια πως αυτό εδώ είναι ένα γαμάτο τραγούδι που του αξίζει ακόμα και η κορυφή. Αυτό το ντουέτο λοιπόν του The Kid Laroi με την Miley θα έχετε την ευκαιρία να ακούτε από σήμερα...
