JUSTIN JESSO - THE SOUND OF FREEDOM

 Time to talk about one of the most talk about films this year that generated many reactions."The Sound of Freedom" sheds light on the horrific issue of human trafficking and emphasizes the importance of combating this global problem.The film tells the true story of Tim Ballard, a former Homeland Security agent, who quits his job to form a private organization called Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.). The mission of O.U.R. is to rescue children from human trafficking and child exploitation around the world. The film follows Ballard's dangerous and challenging efforts to save these innocent victims and bring the criminals to justice.It is directed by Alejandro Monteverde and stars Jim Caviezel, Mira Sorvino, and Eduardo Verástegui in lead roles.Now the reactions from the audience and Hollywood were in opposite directions due to the fact that this movie is a punch to society.The theme song was performed by rising artist Justin Jesso and i m very curious how the academy will treat this movie upon the next Oscars.

 The "Barbie" effect will be in full display the next week after the release of the movie.At least two tracks will enter the Billboard. Nicki Minaj and Dua Lipa are on their way for the top 10 and that reflects how good the soundtrack is (i really don't know about the movie).The Mark Ronson produced album will keep producing hits with this one by Lizzo being the next in line.The 80's feeling "Pink" that reminds the spirit of Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" will make your world pretty as pink.

JASON ALDEAN - TRY THAT IN A SMALL TOWN

 He may lost the number one this week in the USA due to Jung Kook's international single with Latto but next week he ll get it probably.In fact all three top songs next week will by country artists just a sign of how popular this genre is nowdays in the US.The controversy about "Try That In A Small Town" video and lyrics that glorified gun violence and conveyed traditionally racist ideas is part of it's success.Now Aldean said the song represents an "unspoken rule" for those raised in small towns: "We all have each other's backs and we look out for each other".Now is it just me or some of the guitar riffs remind me of something from the 80s.Bon Jovi? ANASTACIA - SUPERGIRL

 In the 00's American singer Anastacia made a big impact in music with her distinguished voice.Till today "I m Outta Of Love" and "Paid My Dues" can cause serious chills whenever played so if you are young enough go check them out.Her brand new album "Our Songs" is a collection of translated interpretations of German songs so this cover is no surprise.Besides Reamonn's "Supergirl" was a global hit back in 2000 the same period of her own success.The only thing that bothers me on this cover is that is exactly the same with the original with Anastacia's vocals.

Now this comes as a surpising good release from LA RnB duo Emotional Oranges and electronic "transformer" Zhu.Their long term friendship between them is translated to this single called "Not Like This" a song with electronic rolling RnB beats that changes the nowdays acoustic enviroment.And guess what no samples here just original material.I m pretty sure very few people will know this gem existsa and only if a miracle happens "Not Like This" will appear on the charts.But still such a great tune that needs to be spread...

Every time i see a title that matches a hit from the past i m curious to hear what they have done especially if they are djs.Sometimes the outcome is horrific and some times it's very interesting.This one is interesting as the 1998 hit by Brandy and Monica gets an afrobeat house remix by all these djs above that can easily enter any dj playlist.I know that are many djs that are seeking new songs for the dj sets and this one is something i recommend.

Wth Moirgan Wallen returning to Billboard's number one and Taylor Swift having another top 10 with her brand new single the Usa chart seems like a music swamp for a long time now.Gunna is fast rising with "Fukumean" while next week Junk Kook and Latto are expected to debut in the top 10.The same thing will happen in the Uk with "Sprinter" adding another week at the number one.Nathan Dawe, Joel Corry & Ella Henderson with "0800 Heaven" is fast rising in the top 10 while Peggy Gou is still on the climb.That's about the main facts about the charts so let's get moving to new music.

Post Malone's fifth album was released last friday and "Overdrive is the third single released.So far no big hits coming out of it with "Overdrive" being a guitar-led single that considers his state of mind.Currently on tour Post Malone has many fans and he walks his own music path.Cute single but that's all about it.

TROYE SIVAN - RUSH

 I m always honest with new songs even if sometimes i change my mind cause making a review in such a short period of time can lead to wrong conclusions.But after hearing music for so many years i trust my modjo big time.Now Austarlian Troye Sivan has managed to make a name in the business but never had a really big hit.When it comes to pop hearing something that is out of the copy paste forms of today is always an advantage.And i think that feeling great with a naked guy on his shoulders is the same feeling while recording his brand new single "Rush".I really like this song cause it's different, it's saultry, it has the summer vibe and in many ways, ok i ll say it it reminded me the feeling when i first heard "Club Tropicana" by Wham.This is the lead single from his upcoming album, "Something to Give Each Other" (out October 13) and hopefully will become a hit cause it worths it.

 I have serious doubts about the movie but none about the ost."What Was I Made For?" is the single that Eilish and Finneas O'Connell, her brother and longtime musical collaborator, produced for the soundtrack of the highly anticipated Barbie movie. It’s a soft, breathy ballad that seems to take the movie’s plot literally. Eilish sings about being unsure about her purpose in the universe and i m sure fans will love it.The Mark Ronson produced soundtrack has one more surprise left with the brand new Sam Smith single out next week.

 It was the first time in three years that a Shouse release didn't work out as they expected even if David Guetta was on board."Live Without Your Love" sounded less from Shouse's previews releases and that forces them to release a new single the second in one year a thing that they have never done before after their success.Their songs are always about love and this one is a collaboration with the House Gospel Choir the London vocal group that brings faith to the dance floor.Uniting the uplifting force of spirituality with the kinetic energy of dance music their contribution to "Your Love" through their distorted vocals are unique.This like Daft Punk meets house music in a gospel ground.So much better for Shouse this time..

TH;EN - KATANIA

 TH;EN, a German project by Enzo, has been a name in the progressive, melodic house and techno scene for years.But his productions are not very often published on blogs or talked about unless you are a dj or dig music a little harder.Now what made me talk about his brand new release "Katania" is that he uses a Greek traditional song called "Στου Κύκκου Τα Βουνά" translated "At Kykkou Mountains".Now it's not very often from someone outside Greece to use a traditional song for the dance scene so as a Greek myself i thought this sounds great for the clubs.
