MK ft POPPY BASKCOMB - ZONE

 Tonight is the Eurovision song contest final and everyone has a favourite song to support.The hits comes from Greece and Bulgaria if you want to party this summer.Best songs comes from Italy, Croatia, Albania, France and Israel and for months the bets are saying Finland (which i don't really like).Now there are some outsiders like Australia with Delta's perfect vocal performance but with an ordinary song and Romania's "Choke Me" a powerful and electrifying performance that could really make a surprise performance in the final board.Then you know how juries are voting which are half the result but the voting from fans will ultimately tell the truth.

Now house music veteran MK is releasing another dance anthem a new single called "Zone" featuring Poppy Baskcomb on vocals.Following last year's smash hit "Dior" ft. Chrystal, widely hailed as one of the songs of the summer, MK returns with another irresistible track that captures the spirit of sun-kissed festivals and late-night clubbing.This is a groove-driven production with catchy beats and a nice hook but in the end it didn't impress me much.I prefer "Ferto" for this summer!!!!

ALISON LIMERICK - WHERE LOVE LIVES (MK REMIX)

 Kylie finally did it earning her first Xmas Uk number one single breaking a whole bunch of records too proving why she is the ultimate Uk pop star even though she is from Australia.The festive season is also the perfect playground for oldies return and this years John Lewis Christmas advert brough back Limerick's 1990 club anthem "Where Love Lives".Now this anthem gets the MK treatment putting a serious update to the song that will probably get a lot of attention fron now on.All we need now is a new remix for Kato's viral song "Turn The Lights Off" and the New Year's party is on.

 Having an unexpected number one in the UK this year with "Dior" supersonic dj and producer MK is gearing up with a brand new single with dance power mistress Clementine Douglas on vocals.This is not the first time these two are collaborating with "Asking" being the previous one.This is probably even better and the hottest dance track release this week.The pairing produces a deep house with soulful vocals by Douglas with a mainstream appeal for all radios as well as dancefloors.A new hit in the making for both of them.

 Legendary MK aka Marc Kinchen has a new ferocious and powerful release out this week together with Cgrystal known for his recent banger "The Days".This is a track with deepened foundations and penetrating instrumentation that shatters your speakers with its drive across its thumping duration."Dior" hits incredibly hard with its four to the floor styled groove in which the synth bass and the rest addictive elements locked in place, MK sets the scene for Chrystal‘s soaring vocals to shine incredibly bright and mesmerise us with their captivation.

BECKY HILL & MK - SWIM

 8 years ago she released "Piece of Me" with MK.The track went on to go platinum and has received a lot of love worldwide.They want to repeat that so they team up again to release a remix version for "Swim" a piano house dance banger made for dancing.This is the next single from "Believe Me Now" and even the original version from the album sounds nice this remix is even better.They are both on the headline of dance music and even if this period is weird for none festive songs hopefully it will chart.

 Hailing from the Uk top 20 this is Sony Fodera's biggest hit so far.The collab single with veteran dance titan MK and Caroline Douglas on vocals will have a chance to become even a top 10 the next days not only because is one of the biggest dance tunes right now in the Uk but there are also massive remixes on the way with Tiesto making one of them.And when Tiesto is involved then you can't go wrong with "Asking".Dance music in the Uk provides the world with massive hits and still stays strong with the charts.

JOEL CORRY, MK & RITA ORA - DRINKIN

 It's so easy nowdays to make dance music just using your pc that it's not strange that we have so many dance songs almost every week by the artists.That doesn't ensure the outcome which in many cases sound almost exactly like a hundred others.This is the problem with this one and the only thing that it's different it's the names on it.So "Drinkin" with Joel Corry, MK and Rita Ora might sound like a good idea but is it?

 What happens when the totem of dance music MK collaborates with one of the hottest djs around like Burns and have one big talent like Teddy Swims on vocals?Magic happens and this is definitely one of the best dance tracks of the summer.I don't think i have to write anything more about MK and Burns but Teddy Swims is an artist that i discovered in the blog few months ago, i loved him in every way and i m expecting to blow up anytime soon.  This is not a traditional music blog. I don't write my reviews based the common standards. I don't gain anything else but a creative spending of time with what i love. Of course there are my social media to follow for more than my reviews but i m not going to make this the main purpose. Only the ones who wants it bad and likes the music as much as i do can find the ways to join them. I believe that MK has a great back up catalogue and his latest single wasn't exactly my favourite. But this remix from LP Giobbi gives it a whole new perspective that makes it really really interesting..

CELESTE & MK - STOP THIS FLAME

 Ευτυχώς που με το "Love Is Back" μάθαμε την Celeste και στην Ελλάδα και παρ όλο που το επόμενο single "Stop This Flame" δεν συγκίνησε γενικώς δεν υπάρχει λόγος για ανησυχία. Η ανακύκλωση που λέγεται dance music μπορεί να δώσει μία εντελώς νέα διάσταση στο τραγούδι ειδικά μάλιστα αν ανακατευτεί και ένας master του είδους όπως ο MK. Η dance μουσική εξακολουθεί να παράγει αλλά δεν ξέρω ποιοι παίζουν που και τι με τους κανόνες που ισχύουν. Πάντως αυτό εδώ αξίζει playlisting..

MK - CHEMICAL

 Αύριο θα κάνω μία εμπεριστατωμένη ανάλυση για την φετινή Eurovision στο blog καλώς εχόντων των πραγμάτων. Πάντως μου κάνει τρομερή εντύπωση όσο αναφορά τα charts πως άλλα πουλάνε, άλλα βρίσκονται ψηλά σε αυτά λόγω views και streaming. Για άλλη μία εβδομάδα το "Body" του Tion Wayne είναι στην κορυφή ενώ το νέο single της Olivia Rodrigo "Good 4 U" πάει κατευθείαν στο νούμερο 2 ενώ υπάρχουν σοβαρές πιθανότητες να βρεθεί και στην κορυφή του Billboard την επόμενη εβδομάδα. Τι να πω άραγε θα θυμάται κανείς αυτά τα τραγούδια σε μερικούς μήνες; Γι αυτό να βασίζεστε στο ένστικτο σας και αυτό που θέλουν τα αυτιά σας. Το νέο single του MK είναι το "Chemical" αλλά νομίζω πως η χημική αντίδραση δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα επιτυχημένη...

MK ft RAPHAELLA - LIES

 Ψέμματα παντού. Στις σχέσεις, στην ενημέρωση, στα συναισθήματα και σε όλες τις εκφάνσεις της ζωής. Και αν νομίζει κάποιος γιατί σε εμένα θα απαντήσω γιατί όχι σε σένα. Πρέπει όλοι να είναι προετοιμασμένοι για το πιο κοινό στοιχείο της ζωής που απαντάτε συχνότερα από όλα τα υπόλοιπα. Τραγούδια για "Lies" πάμπολλα και θα προσθέσετε ένα ακόμα από τον MK που με την Raphaella στα φωνητικά δημιουργούν ένα πολύ radio friendly dance pop anthem που το κόβω για επιτυχία πρώτα στην Βρετανία και μετά everywhere else.

CAMELPHAT ft LOWES - EASIER (MK REMIX)

 Όπως ανακοινώθηκε πριν λίγο η Mariah Carey τελικά κατέκτησε την κορυφή του Uk chart 26 χρόνια μετά την κυκλοφορία του ένα ρεκόρ που την επόμενη εβδομάδα μπορεί να σπάσει αν οι Wham καταφέρουν (επιτέλους) και αυτοί να βρεθούν στην κορυφή με το "Last Christmas". Τα μισά τραγούδια στο UK chart είναι χριστουγεννιάτικα και αυτό θα κρατήσει με 2 εβδομάδες ακόμα πριν δούμε την αναπροσαρμογή στην κανονικότητα.

Το "Dark Matter" των Camelphat είναι ίσως το καλύτερο dance album της χρονιάς με τα τραγούδια τους να έχουν γεμίσει το blog μου και στην κυριολεξία να έχουμε ευχαριστηθεί σε μία κακή χρονιά για το clubbing τα τραγούδια τους. Το "Easier" είναι από τα singles του album τους με τον MK να προσφέρει το remix του και φυσικά εμείς να το απολαμβάνουμε..

ANABEL ENGLUND & MK - UNDERWATER

Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που συνεργάζονται αλλά ούτε και η τελευταία. Κρατάει χρόνια αυτή η κολόνια και το "Underwater" είναι άλλη μία δοκιμή να δημιουργήσουν κάτι που θα κεντρίσει το ενδιαφέρον του μουσικόφιλου. Η βάση είναι χορευτική με ηλεκτρονικά στοιχεία και τα αιθέρια φωνητικά της Anabel Englund την οποία έχεις συναντήσει πολλάκις στο blog μου. Παρ όλα αυτά του λείπει λίγο καρύκευμα για να νοστιμίσει λίγο ακόμα. Είναι το πρώτο single από το επερχόμενο album της..

MK ft CARLA MONROE - 2AM (PAUL WOOLFORD REMIX)

 O Paul Woolford μαζί με τον Diplo έχουν ένα από τα καλύτερα dance anthems της χρονιάς και πολύ συντομα θα βρεθεί μέσα στο Top 10 της Βρετανίας. Βέβαια για τους γνωστούς λόγους η επιτυχία του δεν είναι αντίστοιχη με τις πωλήσεις του οπότε βγάλτε από το μυαλό σας τόσο την θέση στα charts. Και επειδή είναι από τα πιο hot ονόματα αυτή την στιγμή της dance ένα remix του στο νέο single του MK το οποίο έχω ήδη παρουσιάσει είναι επιβεβλημένο να ακουστεί. Μην σας πω πως η εκτέλεση αυτή μ αρέσει ακόμα περισσότερο..

MK ft CARLA MONROE - 2AM

Από το κακό στο χειρότερο πάνε τα κρούσματα παγκοσμίως αλλά και στην Ελλάδα κάνοντας το clubbing σχεδόν απαγορευτικό τουλάχιστον μέχρι να βρεθεί το εμβόλιο. Και πολύ φοβάμαι πως τραγούδια όπως το νέο του MK θα ακούγονται μόνο από το ραδιόφωνο ή από virtual events. Ας τηρήσουμε τα μέτρα όσο μπορούμε καλύτερα για να μην έχουμε άλλου είδους lockdowns αν και νομίζω πως δεν θα τα αποφύγουμε τελικά. Το δεύτερο κύμα ουσιαστικά είναι το πρώτο για την Ελλάδα οπότε βάλτε το "2AM" στη διαπασών στα ηχεία σας και stay safe...

HOSH & 1979 ft JAJA - MIDNIGHT (THE HANGING TREE) (MK EXTENDED REMIX)

Αυτό είναι το απόλυτο remix στο "Midnight (The Hanging Tree)" του Hosh και δεν πρόκειται να υπάρξει καλύτερο θεωρώ (όχι τουλάχιστον για τα επόμενα 10 χρόνια). Το τραγούδι θα έπρεπε να έχει γίνει Top 10 στην Βρετανία αλλά αυτό το έχω ξαναγράψει. Οι djs ανά την υφήλιο έχουν την απόλυτη version του λοιπόν εδώ και μερικά 24ωρα και θα παίξει πολύ από αυτούς που ξέρουν από clubbing..
