TRAVIS SCOTT & DRAKE - MELTDOWN

 Although i can't relate with many rap songs including this one i can't ignore that this week is owned by Travis Scott since all the songs from his brand new album are considered hits in both sides of the Atlantic.Some of them had huge streaming numbers with "Meltdown" being the one that wins the statistics.Drake is on it and this is the main reason why this is the highest new entry this week on the Uk chart and probably will debut on the number one next Tuesday on Billboard.The song dishes Pusha T and Pharrell and uses a sample from Star Wars Episode IV "A New Hope"."Meltdown" serves as a spiritual successor to “Sisco Mode” an anthem that topped the charts and broke Spotify records.But charts and spotify records mean a shit to me nowdays if songs are not becoming "true" classics.

 The line up for the brand new Travis Scott single is fiiiiiiiire.Streaming juggernauts Bad Bunny and the Weeknd join Scott on “K-pop,” the racy new track that officially marks Scott’s post-Astroworld comeback.It seems that "Utopia" his brand new album will be packed with star power but for now "K-Pop" will be explode in the charts in a flash.This marks Bad Bunny’s first time working with both artists (however, Scott did remix Bad Bunny’s "Krippy Kush" in 2017) though Scott and the Weeknd have previously joined forces on numerous tracks including “Pray 4 Love” and “Skeletons,” among others.Now the title is dissing the K-Pop phenomenon and i think it's the right thing to do cause enough is enough.

TRAVIS SCOTT - ESCAPE PLAN

 It is a tragic irony but there was no escape plan at the Astroworld festival for some people. It makes you wonder about the security plan, the behaviour of people towards others in every way and that makes me generally very very angry. From the security of my home i blog music as the only "Escape Plan" in these strange times we are living hoping it's safe. Two new singles for Travis Scott who attracts the mases like the sugar does to bees. I think that this one is the best of these two and soon enough it wil conquer the USA top 10...

 Next week there is going to be a musical massacre with the new albums by Kanye West and Drake outselling like no others did this year. The winner is music and not the artists who really did their best for both albums. The long awaited "Certified Lover Boy" by Drake is finally avaliable and has a tons of collabs too. Αν και είχε ένα νέο τραγούδι μέσα από την ταινία "Tenet" δεν σπρώχτηκε ιδιαίτερα στα media αφήνοντας χώρο για αυτό εδώ το οποίο μάλλον είναι και προπομπός νέου album..

TRAVIS SCOTT - GOOSEBUMPS (HVME REMIX)

 Αν και έχει νέο single μέσα από το ost του "Tenet" θα διαλέξω ένα remix στο "Goosebumps" του Travis Scott. Από την στιγμή που βρέθηκε ο Imanbek να κάνει επιτυχία το "Roses" του Saint Jhn φαίνεται πως άνοιξε η όρεξη και σε άλλους να πειράξουν rap-trap μουσική με χορευτικές προεκτάσεις. Οι Λιθουανοί HVME θα μπορούσαν να έχουν ένα μεγάλο hit στα χέρια τους με αυτό εδώ γιατί έχει όλες τις προυποθέσεις. Τουλάχιστον στα δικά μου αυτιά έτσι ακούγεται. Λιγο Τικ Τοκ χρειάζεται και boom...

O Travis Scott είναι superstar στον χώρο του και για αυτό με την κυκλοφορία αυτού του single πήρε τα σκήπτρα από την Billie Eilish για το πιο πολυπαιγμένο τραγούδι στο Spotify. Παρέα με τον Kid Cudi αυτή την φορά δημιουργούν τους Scotts και το τραγούδι που έχει τον ίδιο τίτλο αναμένεται να είναι από αυτά που θα ντεμπουτάρουν πολύ ψηλά στα charts κυρίως στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Προσαρμοσμένο απόλυτα στο fat bass της hip hop που κάνει θραύση αυτή την περίοδο σαν ήχος θα ικανοποιήσει απόλυτα τους fans του είδους...

Και ενώ το "Circles" είναι το single που σπρώχνει ο Post Malone το νέο του album "Hollywood's Bleeding" έσκασε μύτη και έχει διάφορες συνεργασίες. Αυτό που κίνησε περισσότερο την περιέργεια μου και το αυτί μου είναι η συνεργασία με τον μοναδικό Ozzy Osbourne. To "Take What You Want" είναι μία μίξη rap vocals σε rock ρυθμούς με την πινελιά του Ozzy να βάζει σφραγίδα σε κάτι που με τις πολλές τις πιθανότητες να γίνει επιτυχία στο μέλλον θα προσθέσει στην τεράστια καριέρα του Ozzy ένα hit μετά από πάρα πάρα πολλά χρόνια...

H επιτυχία του "Sisco Mode" στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες είναι μεγάλη αν και ουδέποτε ασχολήθηκα με τον Travis Scott στο blog. Η rap θύελλα κυρίως στην Αμερική είναι ένα φαινόμενο που έχει φέρει στο προσκήνιο πολλούς νέους rapper αγνώστου διάρκειας. Αν δεν ήταν στην κορυφή η Ariana Grande (από τα λίγα ποπ singles που τα κατάφεραν φέτος) το συγκεκριμένο θα είχε βάλει την κορωνίδα. Το remix του Skrillex το οποίο είναι καλό μου δίνει την ευκαιρία να πω δυο λόγια για αυτό...
