 This is a way better effort by Lizzo after "Love In Real Life" back in February."Still Bad" sounds like vintage Lizzo, a funky upbeat pop track that can have a multiple radio plays and a bigger appeal to wider audience.Her brand new album "Love In Real Life" has not a release date yet but this single will serve as the best promoter when it comes out. I will be surprised if "Still Bad" won't be a big hit on the charts in the next weeks cause it has all the needed elements to stay in our lives for a very long time.Lizzo is back and she is as bad as it gets...

LIZZO - LOVE IN REAL LIFE

 Lizzo is back with her new single the first one in two years after the hard times she faced with some allegations about her behaviour.Her new song is called "Love In Real Life" and a brand new so far untitled album is on the way.The 80's inspired energetic new single sounds like "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince meets all the new romantic sound from that era.Overall is a nice single but there is not the hook in it that will captivate the audience for far too long.The pop rock dance vibes are inprinted into the dance music video for the song that also pay homage to the 80's era.I was expecting something far more better.

LIZZO - PINK

 The "Barbie" effect will be in full display the next week after the release of the movie.At least two tracks will enter the Billboard. Nicki Minaj and Dua Lipa are on their way for the top 10 and that reflects how good the soundtrack is (i really don't know about the movie).The Mark Ronson produced album will keep producing hits with this one by Lizzo being the next in line.The 80's feeling "Pink" that reminds the spirit of Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" will make your world pretty as pink.

LIZZO - SOMEDAY AT CHRISTMAS

 Every year Amazon originals releases some Christmas songs by big names in music that you won't find anywhere else but Amazon and of course Sound Fist.This year Lizzo makes a festive song by covering the 1967 Stevie Wonder's "Someday At Christmas" in the soulful way that suits her.This classic has been covered by many before but none has managed to get in the top 10.This song was released the year and the month i was born so it's kinda special to me.And Lizzo may have the chance to make it big this year.

LIZZO - 2 BE LOVED (PNAU REMIX)

 Lizzo's "2 Be Loved" blew up on Tik Tok and the infectious chorus justifies the success of the song. I love Lizzo for her attitude her personality her humor and the way she deals with things in life. She also has an incredible voice and she is destined to stay."2 Be Loved" has a beat that is difficult to remix but Pnau took the task and the risk to do their magic.Ok you might not absolutely love this remix and prefer the original version as i do but the song is already in our system and one to be remembered from 2022.

LIZZO - BREAK UP TWICE

 Just finished hearing the brand new Lizzo album "Special".She is not just a star but the whole damn unicerse as she said.The "Lizzoverse" contains pretty good adult songs showing that Lizzo is a mature artist not like others promoting asses and tits as music.At least Lizzo's ass is exuberant and visible only on the screen and not her music. Chris Martin, Mark Ronson and Lauryn Hill are among the ones she collabs on this album with one of the best songs being "Break Up Twice".This Mark Ronson, Lauryn Hill penned song eventually will be a single or a stream favourite. "The Sign" "2 Be Loved" and "Everybody's Gay" are more obvious singles but i prefer this one as a first taste from "Special".Yes she is....special.

LIZZO - GRRRLS

 Yes "About Damn Time" is one of the best singles of the year but that doesn't mean that every Lizzo single from her forthcoming "Special" album will be just as good. This is a second taste from that album and it's rather a rap comedy single that some girrrrrlz might identify themselves in it.I can understand why she peaked that one as a pre-single but "About Damn Time" still has fuel to go...

This combination makes "About Damn Time" the anthem of this summer and the best way to upgrade the charts with quality and a breath of fresh air. It was about damn time for good music...

The queen of "no body shaming" knows how to put soul music back on track and back on the charts. And after her 2019 grammy-winning album "Cuz I Love You" she shows that she isn't a one hit wonder or a music accident. My feeling is that she has too many to offer and her new album is going to be one of the best albums of the year...

 I like Lizzo. I really do for all the image and statement she represents. Last year she made a breakthrough in music out of nowhere and the anticipated return with something new is over. Listening to her new single i try to figure out what she is trying to present us.The one thing for sure is something different but i really don't know if "Rumors" could work. I get the lyrics i get the statement the song has it's moments but i m not satisfied with the result. The addition of Cardi B in it makes it attractive as a billboard but the truth is i was expecting so much more...

Όταν θέλουν οι μουσικές βιομηχανίες να αυξήσουν τις πωλήσεις σε ένα single φτιάχνουν ένα remix με έναν διάσημο καλεσμένο το οποίο είναι ένα από τα τεχνάσματα που χρησιμοποιούν. Έτσι το "Good As Hell" της Lizzo θα έπρεπε να είναι ένα εξίσου επιτυχημένο follow up οπότε η προσθήκη της Ariana Grande όπως είναι φυσικό θα τρελάνει τα μηχανάκια με το τραγούδι να ανεβαίνει στις προτιμήσεις και στα charts..

LIZZO - GOOD AS HELL

Από σήμερα το "Senorita" βρίσκεται στην κορυφή του Billboard και όλα αρχίζουν και παίρνουν την σειρά τους μετά την απόλυτη κυριαρχία του "Old Town Road". Να είστε βέβαιοι πως το " Truth Hurts" της Lizzo θα περάσει και αυτό από εκεί ειδικά μάλιστα μετά την χτεσινή εμφάνιση της στα VLAs όπου ερμήνευσε αυτό και το επόμενο που προωθεί το "Good As Hell". Εντυπωσιακή εμφάνιση και για την Taylor Swift της οποίας το νέο album το οποίο έχει λίγες μέρες που κυκλοφόρησε και έχει πουλήσει ήδη τα πιο πολλά από οποιοδήποτε άλλο μέσα στην χρονιά. Η Lizzo συνδυάζει την soul της Aretha Franklin με την rap και την RnB είναι φωνάρα και έχει μετατρέψει το plus size σωματότυπο της σε σύμβολο απελευθέρωσης.

LIZZO - TRUTH HURTS (CID EXTENDED REMIX)

Θυμάμαι όταν πριν ένα χρόνο είχα βάλει την Lizzo στο blog με το "Boys" σχεδόν κανένας δεν ασχολήθηκε με την χοντρούλα που με περίσιο αυτοσαρκασμό ήταν αποφασισμένη να αλλάξει τα δεδομένα στην μουσική βιομηχανία και τα κατάφερε. Έναν χρόνο μετά διεκδικεί τις υψηλότερες θέσεις στα charts και όλοι ψάχνουν μία συνεργασία μαζί της ακόμα και ο Justin Timberlake. To "Truth Hurts" είναι αλήθεια αλλά είναι προτιμότερο από το οποιοδήποτε ψέμα που πιστεψτε με πονάει περισσότερο για όποιους λόγους και αν γίνεται. LIZZO - TRUTH HURTS

H Lizzo είναι μία ιδιαίτερη περίπτωση που απ ότι φαίνεται και ευτυχώς έχει πιάσει. Το κορίτσι δεν διαθέτει τα σωματικά προσόντα αλλά φροντίζει να τα δείχνει ως αυτοτρολάρισμα φόρα παρτίδα. Σαν να λέει αφού μπορούν οι μοντέλες μπορώ και εγώ. Αισθητικά μπορεί να μην είναι και ότι καλύτερο οι τόσες καμπύλες αλλά θα της βγάλω το καπέλο σαν άποψη. Σαν ταλέντο και για αυτό που κάνει δεν νομίζω ότι μπορεί κανείς να πει κάτι και θα το δείτε και στο τέλος της χρονιάς όταν θα υπάρχει ο συνολικός απολογισμός. Το "Truth Hurts" αν και έχει κυκλοφορήσει από το 2017 βρίσκει σιγά σιγά τον δρόμο του στο Billboard οδηγώντας την Lizzo όλο και πιο ψηλά...

CHARLI XCX ft LIZZO - BLAME IT ON YOUR LOVE

Την Charlie XCX την συμπαθώ μουσικά αλλά χρειάζεται να πάει σε ένα άλλο level. Από την άλλη η Lizzo είναι πολύ ανερχόμενη και η συμμετοχή της προσθέτει στο buzz αυτής της κυκλοφορίας. Το "Blame It On Your Love" είναι το νέο της single και ενώ είναι αρκετά συμπαθητικό χρειάζεται αυτό το κάτι παραπάνω. Το verse πάντως στο τραγούδι εντυπώνεται και είναι αυτό που λειτουργεί θετικά...

LIZZO - JUICE

Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που συναντάς την Lizzo στο blog μου και δεν θα είναι και η τελευταία. Το "διαφορετικό" κορίτσι με το πολύ μεγάλο ταλέντο και τον αυτοσαρκασμό να κάνει το ελάττωμα προτέρημα κυκλοφόρησε το album της "Cuz I Love You" και τα media στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες έχουν αρχίσει να της στέλνουν αβέρτα προσκλήσεις για εμφανίσεις. Τραγούδια σαν το "Juice" που βρίσκονται μέσα στο album της όχι μόνο γυρνάνε τον χρόνο πίσω στις καλές εποχές της soul αλλά φτιάχνουν και διαθέσεις. Ακούστε το album της και θα κάνω την πρόβλεψη για υποψηφιότητα για grammy του χρόνου...

LIZZO - BOYS

Από σήμερα o blogger θα είναι σε ολιγοήμερες διακοπές και θα επιστρέψει οσονούπω αλλά έχω φροντίσει να βρίσκετε μουσική έστω και λίγη κατά την διάρκεια αυτή. Άλλωστε το καλοκαίρι οι κυκλοφορίες δεν είναι και τόσες πολλές και για όποιες προκύψουν θα κάνω ένα update τις επόμενες ημέρες. Πάντως από τις πιο ενδιαφέρουσες περιπτώσεις που άκουσα τελευταία είναι από την πληθωρική Lizzo που με το "Boys" φρεσκάρει με funk την rap κάτι μεταξύ Missy Elliot και Prince. Αξίζει τον κόπο να την προσέξετε και ας μην έχει προς το παρόν πιθανότητες εμπορικής επιτυχίας.
