TROYE SIVAN - SHE'S THE BEST

 Today i m really angry cause listening to most of the new releases the outcome is really disappointing.I will start with one of the most promising new releases and this was Troye Sivan's comeback with his brand new single "She's The Best".What is a song huh?A field for making art (i get it) with the purpose to get into people's mouth.But when you put a banana with a tape on the wall and this is what you call art then something is seriously wrong.And it can't be saved even if you put Nicole Kidman to present it.I don't care if the inspiration comes from your personal sexual oriantation and that means something to a small group of people but it gets annoying when you are so talented but you contain it to a gay culture for some reason.Break your boundaries Troye and make some real music.His fourth studio album "She’s the Best" will be out on October 9 and this is the title track as the first single.

CHARLI XCX & TROYE SIVAN - TALK TALK

 Charli XCX's "Talk Talk" remix with Troye Sivan (and a Dua Lipa word spoken cameo!) was released and "Brat" will soon be different but still "Brat".The new remix of "Talk Talk" is joined by Troye Sivan, who coincidentally will head out on a US tour with Charli beginning this weekend.Her album has been nominated for the Mercury Prize 2024 while Charli has been working on multiple film & TV projects like co-executive producing the score for the A24 film "Mother Mary" with Jack Antonoff and also producing original music for Benito Skinner’s series "Overcompensating" on Prime Video. In addition, Charli will star in the Daniel Goldhaber remake of the 1978 cult horror film "Faces of Death" and Greg Araki’s erotic thriller "I Want Your Sex".Charli this year became a true superstar as was expected from the beggining.

TROYE SIVAN - ONE OF YOUR GIRLS (FELIX JAEHN REMIX)

 Have a nice holy jolly week soundfisters...

In the future someone will discover this song and will give it the proper success it deserves.The obly reason why "Obe Of Your Girls" wasn't a global hit was the name Troye Sivan.Cause if it was released by the Daft Punk or The Weeknd name things would have been different.Personally i believe that this song was one of the 10 best songs this year so this remix will be posted here even though it's not as good as you would expect.A remix most of the times gives a better vibe on the song but Felix Jaehn failed to make it even better.Maybe because it's perfect as it is in it's original form.

TROYE SIVAN - ONE OF YOUR GIRLS

 This is probably the best Troye Sivan single so far...Mature, high quality pop music straight out of his newly released album "Something To Give Each Other". "One of Your Girls" features Sivan fully embodying the role of a Britney Spears-esque idol.This synth pop gem lifts Troye Sivan's profile in a different level despite the fact that he is making lgbtq based music that inprisons him in a way to a certain audience.This is one of the best choices to pick for your playlist this week.

TROYE SIVAN - GOT ME STARTED

 Not quite sure why "Rush" was only appreciated on the dance charts but there are quite few good pop songs out there to get the pop hit stamp.Australian Troye Sivan is trying hard to be a pop idol and his brand new single "Got Me Started" is in the right direction.First of all the sample from the fellow Australians Bag Raider's classic "Shooting Stars" creates a familiar background for the song to be played on the radio.Troye is strongly promote the LGBT community and the video for the song is once again "hot" and "sweaty".His upcoming album, "Something to Give Each Other",is slated for a mid-October release and i m curious to see the respond on this one.

TROYE SIVAN - RUSH

 I m always honest with new songs even if sometimes i change my mind cause making a review in such a short period of time can lead to wrong conclusions.But after hearing music for so many years i trust my modjo big time.Now Austarlian Troye Sivan has managed to make a name in the business but never had a really big hit.When it comes to pop hearing something that is out of the copy paste forms of today is always an advantage.And i think that feeling great with a naked guy on his shoulders is the same feeling while recording his brand new single "Rush".I really like this song cause it's different, it's saultry, it has the summer vibe and in many ways, ok i ll say it it reminded me the feeling when i first heard "Club Tropicana" by Wham.This is the lead single from his upcoming album, "Something to Give Each Other" (out October 13) and hopefully will become a hit cause it worths it.

PNAU ft TROYE SIVAN - YOU KNOW WHAT I NEED (SHADOW CHILD CLASSIC VOCAL MIX)

 The fact that Tik Tok makes old releases become hits gives hope to so many good songs that were overlooked for the known reasons.So we have "Die For You" by The Weekend being a massive hit in the USA almost over a year after it's release and "Sure Thing" by Miguel released back in 2010 being an unexpected crossover hit.There are several more old songs that have been ressurected recently and i m curious to see what will happen to them.So no worries for Pnau's latest single with Troye Sivan on vocals that has been ignored so far, there is always the social media afterlife or maybe a remix can draw the attention?Shadow Child remixed "You Know What I Need" and the result is pretty good..

PNAU & TROYE SIVAN - YOU KNOW WHAT I NEED

 Their memorable work to create Elton John and Dua Lipa's "Cold Heart" made Australian Pnau well known to those who just listen music from the radio.Cause for all the music lovers this trio gained attention after the Empire Of The Sun shoot to stardome cause Nick Littlemore from Pnau was the one half of the group.Strangely their remix for the Elvis movie didn't get the success i was sure it would get after the total buzz from "Cold Heart".And just because we are living in a world with mistreated songs all i will say for their brand new single is simply that i love it.Don't know and i don't care how the media or the charts will treat it just as long my playlist is filled with pure joy.Australian wannabe pop star Troye Sivan provides the vocals and if this single works he just might get what he always wanted.

REGARD ft TROYE SIVAN & TATE MCRAE - YOU (KC LIGHTS REMIX)

 It seems that the newest Regard single didn't work as he expected in the Uk but there is an increasing interest at the USA. Troye Sivan and Tate McRae suits better to the the usa pop radios even though it's very difficult to overcome in sales other genres. I have already reviewed "You" many weeks ago but in case you need a dance version of it KC Lights might have the one you are searching for. Different feeling and 90's piano all the way..

REGARD ft TROYE SIVAN & TATE MCRAE - YOU (TOPIC REMIX)

 Έχουν περάσει μερικές εβδομάδες από τότε που παρουσίασα το νέο single του Regard με τους Troye Sivan και Tate McRae και μέχρι σήμερα τίποτα δεν είχε συμβεί σε αυτή την κυκλοφορία. Τις τελευταίες μέρες όμως κάτι έχει αρχίσει να κινείται όσο αναφορά το τραγούδι. Πάνω που έλεγα πως πέρασε η μπογιά του Regard αφού η original version είναι μάλλον περισσότερο ραδιοφωνική έρχεται αυτό το remix του Topic που του δίνει αυτό που μάλλον ήθελαν οι djs. Ωστόσο το τραγούδι θεωρώ πως είναι slow burner στην αρχική του εκτέλεση και μάλλον ήθελε τον χρόνο του και αξίζει τον κόπο...

REGARD ft TROYE SIVAN & TATE MCRAE -YOU

 Έχω την αίσθηση πως ο Regard θα συνεχίσει τα hits και ευτυχώς αποφάσισε να αλλάξει λίγο το μοτίβο από τα προηγούμενα. Αυτό δείχνει ότι είναι αρκετά έξυπνος για να μην επαναλαμβάνεται. Και αν το "You" δεν σας φαίνεται και τόσο χορευτικό φαντάζομαι θα υπάρξουν σύντομα ένα κάρο από remixes του που θα βοηθήσουν τους djs. Προς το παρόν έχουμε ένα άκρως ραδιοφωνικό τραγούδι το οποίο είναι από τις καλές pop στιγμές της χρονιάς με τους Troye Sivan και Tate McRae που είναι από τους ανερχόμενους pop stars της νεολαίας να κάνουν εξαιρετικά φωνητικά...

TROY SIVAN ft KACEY MUSGRAVES & MARK RONSON - EASY

O Troy Sivan ανήκει στην γενιά του Sawn Mendes όπου τους μπλόγκαρα και τους δύο με την μόνη διαφορά πως ο Mendes το έκανε το μπαμ.Δεν ξέρω αν με αυτή την συνεργασία με τον Mark Ronson και την Kacey Musgraves θα υπάρξει κάποια αλλαγή στο μουσικό status του θα πω όμως πως το "Easy" έχει μία εσάνς από early 80's της pop με ένα electro pop μοτίβο που το κάνει στο πρώτο άκουσμα ενδιαφέρον το οποίο δεν ξέρω αν με την επανάληψη συντηρείται...

LAUV & TROYE SIVAN - I M SO TIRED

O Lauv είναι αρκετά συμπαθητικός όσο αναφορά την ποπ που φτιάχνει και να σας πω την προτιμώ από κάποια άλλα. Το προσπαθεί και έχει καταφέρει να κάνει ένα όνομα από μόνος του. Η μεγάλη επιτυχία βέβαια δεν έχει έρθει ακόμα αλλά νομίζω δεν θα αργήσει. Από την άλλη ο Troye Sivan έχει ένα ρεύμα και ίσως με αυτό εδώ βοηθήσει ο ένας τον άλλον. Πάντως το "I M So Tired" μπορώ να συμμεριστώ περισσότερο σαν τίτλο παρά σαν τραγούδι...

CHARLI XCX ft TROYE SIVAN - 1999

Πρώτη φορά συνεργάζονται αυτοί οι δύο αφού αποτελούν αμφότεροι την νέα γενιά της ηλεκτρονικής pop διεκδικώντας την ελίτ των charts. Ακόμα δεν έχουν φτάσει εκεί έχουν χτίσει όμως ένα όνομα και πάνω εκεί προσπαθούν με τραγούδια σαν αυτό να κάνουν την διαφορά. Το "1999" δεν έχει καμία σχέση με αυτό του Prince και αναπολεί την τελευταία χρονιά της περασμένης χιλιετίας. Σε κάθε περίπτωση προτιμώ pop τέτοιου είδους από κάποια άλλα που πουλάνε χωρίς ιδιαίτερο λόγο πολύ και παίζονται περισσότερο στα ραδιόφωνα..

TROYE SIVAN ft ARIANA GRANDE - DANCE TO THIS

Όπως διαπιστώνετε η Ariana Grande είναι παντού!!! Ακόμα και στο νέο single του Troye Sivan ο οποίος έχει buzz γενικότερα αλλά του λείπει μια μεγάλη επιτυχία. Το "Dance To This" είναι πάνω του μετρίου pop anthem του οποίου του αξίζει η επιτυχία που λόγω Grande μπορεί και να έρθει. Στην Μεγάλη Βρετανία πάντως όπως και στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες η ανταπόκριση είναι αρχικά πολύ θετική και το μέλλον θα δείξει.
Και μια και ανέφερα την Μεγάλη Βρετανία το "One Kiss" του Calvin Harris πνέει τα λοίσθια στην κορυφή η οποία μπορεί και από σήμερα να αλλάξει ένοικο με την Jess Glynn βασική διεκδικήτρια ενώ για το άμεσο μέλλον προσέξτε το "Leave A Light On" του Tom Walker το οποίο γίνεται σιγά σιγά παγκόσμια επιτυχία. Μεγάλη άνοδο και για το "Shotgun" του George Ezra. Για αμφότερα έχω γράψει εδώ και καιρό...

TROYE SIVAN - MY MY MY

Δεν είμαι ιδιαίτερος fan του Troye Sivan τον οποίο προσπαθούν να πασάρουν σαν ανερχόμενο pop star αλλά θα πω ότι βρίσκω συμπαθητικό το νέο του single από το επερχόμενο album. Αν και κινείται στις φόρμες που κινείται η pop σήμερα δια της ατόπου απαγωγής καταλήγεις να βρίσκεις το "My My My" αρκετά καλύτερο από κάποια αντίστοιχα άλλα. Για αυτούς που ακούνε το είδος είναι μια συμπαθητική επιλογή...
