CHASE & STATUS ft DEBBIE - GONE TOO FAR

While we have to wait until Oct 9 for "Generic Everything" the brand new Chase & Status album there's a brand new single out this week that will take you back to the early 00s where the "Pure Shores" era by All Saints created a whole new aesthetic in music. That song was the first thing that came to my mind when i first heard "Gone Too Far".Deborah Ehirim, known mononymously as Debbie, has teamed up with drum and bass duo Chase & Status for a totally different dnb anthem with a mainstream appeal that could dominate the radio. It was written by British rapper, singer, and songwriter Plan B while production duties were handled by Chase & Status. This softer and more musical side to the duo creates a whole new potential to reach new audience and can definitely be the best new release this week and one of the best this month.

CHASE & STATUS ft JHUS & IRAH - DISGRUNTLED

The legacy of Prodigy and the power of drum n bass through the most reliable ambassadors on earth Chase & Status is imprinted on their brand new single "Disgruntled".This is a heavy duty breaks spinner, with the duo tapping into that newgen energy making it an instant anthem. The track pairs the iconic London duo with rapper J Hus and grime vocalist IRAH, reuniting a chemistry first sparked on 2023’s barnstorming anthem "Baddadan". J Hus, coming off his own acclaimed year that included a BRIT nomination for his album "Beautiful and Brutal Yard", brings a fluid cadence while IRAH injects the bellicose bars that made "Baddadan" a fixture of drum & bass.

CHASE & STATUS & STORMZY - BACKBONE

Charli XCX ft Billie Eilish managed to get her first number one as a solo artist as it was announced few minutes ago and it's the first by a British act in 2024.But there is a stong contestant for next week's number one since Chase & Status are the "backbone" of drum n bass not only in Uk.The track, which marks the first time the two acts have collaborated on record has already a massive attention and it perfectly blends Chase & Status’s signature drum and bass sound with Stormzy’s raw, commanding presence. This combination has created a track that is both sonically rich and emotionally powerful.Mind the "Backbone" for a future number one in the Uk.

CHASE & STATUS ft CLEMENTINE DOUGLAS - SAY THE WORD

What a year that was for Chase & Status since they have changed their status finally into hitmakers. All these years drum n bass was a genre for the "few" and not easy to be played on the radio.Chase & Status along with other artists changed that into a massive wave of drum n bass everywhere from clubs to charts. While their "Baddadan" single is riding the Uk top 10 the duo recruits one of the best voices out there Clementine Douglas for their new single "Say The Word".The melody on this one combines with the crazy beats produced by the duo so all it takes is to "Say The Word" and the heat is on...

BECKY HILL & CHASE & STATUS - DISCONNECT

Becky Hill needs no introduction neither Chase & Status.Becky has proven that she can "swim" almost in every genre including all the dance ones so this time she wanted one of the best in DnB and Chase & Status fulfill her expectations.Although all the assumptions were great i feel that the outcome called "Disconnect" doesn't really "connects" with the expectations. There's something wrong with this "line" please dial again...

CHASE & STATUS - MIXED EMOTIONS

You get no "Mixed Emotions" after hearing the brand new Chase & Status single.Just emotions and good vibes coming from the legendary drum n bass duo.Their sixth studio album is called "What Came Before" out early June and this single marks their status in their music which remains true to the essence of the genre they have served for years now. I love the melodic line, the emotional vocals and the full gear this track provides. Legends do it better...
