The Morgan Wallen effect is on full display in the USA making him one of the most successful artists this year.In some other parts of the world he remains unknown cause country music even if it has pop colors is not the most wanted genre.While "Last Night" will continue it's reign there is another artist that will dominate the Hot 100 with multiple new entries in it.Lil Durks brand new album will occupy the Us charts with his collaboration with Morgan Wallen for "Stand By Be" expected to become a top 10 (at least).The trap-country track, produced by Dr. Luke looks to be the stand-out track from "Almost Healed" album extending the success for both of them.

 For those who don't know who Ian Brown is i will tell you that he was the frontman of the Englisg rock band The Stone Roses before he went solo in 2019.The track has been released independently and marks only Brown’s second piece of original material since his 2019 solo album Ripples.Many accused him about his ideas but i won't get into this.Music is the only thing that matters and "Rules" is a damn pretty good song to listen to.

 This is one of the few places where you can find music from almost any genre and i have the freedom to suggest you songs for your playlist just as long you love music like i fo with no boundaries."Love Bites" by Def Leppard is one of their huge hits that became a classic almost instantly back in 1988.Their success in the USA was bigger than the one in their home country Uk but chart success is one thing and immortallized songs is another.Of course this song couldn't be left out of Del Leppard's brand new album "Drastic Symphonies" a compilation of their best songs played with the Royal Philarmonic Orchestra.Still gives chills like the first day..

 Kush after his collaboration with Purple Disco Machine continues to push the boundaries in electronic music with his new release "Shadows".This time he collaborates with Turkish artist and multi-instrumentalist, Carlita with the result being true to what Kungs is promoting with his productions.Although i really like Kungs "Shadows" is not his best release so far keeping it in a secondary rotation as far it concerns my taste.

 I m not sure if the movie will have any success but the soundtrack to "Barbie" will.As a bonafide synth-pop hitmaker, Dua pulls retro-futuristic inspiration from her last record “Future Nostalgia” to craft the disco delight of "Dance the Night".This sound continues to be slick and Dua Lipa serves it perfectly. The track was released alongside a playful, and pink, music video featuring clips of the movie and a cameo from director Greta Gerwig.Tame Impala, Haim, Charli XCX and Ice Spice are on the lineup along with Karol G, Lizzo and more.  After several flops last year's OneRepublic contribution to Tog Gun's Ost with "I Ain't Worried" gave them a massive hit that managed to stay high for several months giving them one of their biggest success of their career.Their brand new single "Runaway" reminds me a lot Bruno Mars "Locked Out Of Heaven" but nowdays this is very common.Nice vocal syncronicities and an upbeat rock rhythm makes "Runaway" a potential hit song.I really like their new single and hopefully it will get massive too..

 Swedish House Mafia are different ever since they returned to music and some like it and some don't.Music changes and so are the artists.I m not really sure if their brand new single will work cause there is a quite amount of world music in it and dancefloors usually are not the right place for such releases.The Fred Again influence on "See The Light" is obvious and you know that there are many fans out there of this genre.Trying something else is always risky but i give them that...

 Yesterday's sad news about Tina Turner's passing has turned into a massive appreciation about this legend in music.There is no one who didn't recognise her contribution in music and that's why she is now immortal.Legends never trully die and her voice will continue to live and fill us with feelings every time her songs are played.She truly was a queen.

Now Dominic Byrne is a British newsreader, presenter, songwriter and choreographer. He currently works on the Chris Moyles Breakfast show on Radio X.Having the radio support this release is currently number one on the British i tunes and for a good reason."Happier Now" with Abigail DB on vocals is an above average pop song straight out from an 80s playlist.Is the Radio X promotion good enough to make this song a hit in the Uk? Either way i enjoyed listening to this song and i will continue to do so.

 Few weeks ago i talked about the release of the covers Ep "Phantomine" by Ghost by reviewing the cover on the Genesis song "Jesus He Knows Me".Well that Ep is out and Papa and the Ghouls unleashed their cover on the Ghost-ian reinvention of Tina Turner's 1985 New Wave smash "We Don't Need Another Hero (Thunderdome)."Recorded by Turner for the soundtrack of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, which she starred in this is another history lesson for youngsters and a nice way for us older to remember once more a classic.Surprisingly natural choice of covering this song.

BLUR - THE NARCISSIST

Finally back to base and ready for blogging as usual.And the posts start with the Blur returning to discography after an eight years hiatus.Since they have decided sporadic reunions this return is quite something for one of Britain's most distinguished bands.The first single from upcoming album "The Ballad of Darren" is an a odyssey to a narcissist's life.Albarn guides the listener through a soundscape of indie guitars, harmonized backing vocals, and a mix of programmed and live drums making this song not only a must listen but also a must have.Blur has yet again proven that no matter how much time they take between releases, their songs don’t suffer one bit.So glad they are back..

 This is a song that has been circulating for quite sometime and finally Lana Del Rey decided to release it officially.This is a song from 2012 and its release comes after a leaked version gained prominence online.Although her brand new album is on full display with all the released singles so far Lana keeps dropping music with any chance and "Say Yes To  Heaven" fits perfectly her music profile that keeps remain the same and nothing seems to change that.

Some say that Pnau are struggling to remake somehow "Cold Heart" and the truth is that who isn't trying to duplicate his success using the same tools.It's only natural then for Pnau's productions to have the essence of their sound.The question is why such good songs like their previous single "The Hard Way" are destined to be discovered sometime in the future and not now.Anyway the Australians have a new single released tomorrow with the odd pairing of Bebe Rexha and Ozuna for "Stars".Once more this is a nice single for the duo and it has already added to my playlist.What about yours?

While Europe is under the Eurovision impact and it will continue for a couple of days in the USA they are in a tottaly different state of music.Nobody for now can dethrone Morgan Wallen from the top of the singles and the albums while in Europe he is almost uknown.One of the songs that is trending right now and expected to enter the top 10 sooner or later is Lil Durk's brand new single "All My Life". The Chicago-born rapper recruits J Cole and this song was produce by hitmaker Dr Luke. The track will appear on the rapper’s forthcoming eighth LP, "Almost Healed", set for release May 26.The mainstream elements with the melody and the children's choir makes it anthemic and it will cross the borders of the US.

 After they welcomed us in their DCC world Nothing But Thieves shared their new single called "Overcome".  One of the best albums released this week is the self titled album by Lauren Daigle.The currently single is "Thank God I Do" but the closing track "These Are The Days" is the one that stole my heart.Although Lauren Daigle is a christian pop star overall there is no fence here in playlisting her anywhere.The Grammy winning songwriter with this song links Amy Winehouse and the 60's era music in the most modern way and hopefully will be her next single as it should be.Great song take it with you.

NO RESOLVE ft HINDER - UNSTOPPABLE

 Few words about yesterday's Eurovision contest first and we move on.The juries and the audience had a different opinion.Who won?You could say the jury cause the Finland entry was ignored in a big way and if you ask me they were right in terms of musical composition.On the other hand the plagiarism in Loreen's song was so intense that it made me question why there was no action against it for months now.The audience of Eurovision was clear about "Cha Cha Cha" and i can't question that.Many songs that they deserved to win didn't in the past and that will continue to happen.The real award is if any of these songs will get viral and become a real hit and not winning the trophy.

Moving on i want to focus on some new releases this week that are not the major releases in terms of names.Covering a hit song in a rock way has always been an interesting thing to hear and No Resolve along with Hinder took the Sia song and made it their way.The electricity in music has always been a nice way to renew and refresh our ears.

BTS - THE PLANET

 Oh dear i thought they would take a long break from the BTS project.Anyway "The Planet" is the boy band's first to feature all seven members since they've been focused on solo endeavors and military service.It's part of  the soundtrack to the animated movie "Bastions" and it will take a while to hear again something new from the band.The upbeat track is expected to recieve a warm welcome from the fans from around the world but personally i don't hear anything new here..

 Now if you ask me which song has the better chances to be viral through Tik Tok then "Break A Broken Heart" the Cyprus entry at tonight's Eurovision final will be my choice.You know that Rosa Linn last year was at the bottom of the final results but still was the most succesful song last year.Well this one could become a trending song for the next months and it deserves it cause it's so powerful that can really break a broken heart.This also is one of my favourite songs of the Eurovision contest.

 This year's Belgium entry at the Eurovision is one of the nice songs that have the potential to stay after the contest is over.I have already said that La Zarra is my favourite this year and i think she will get the jury points all the way.In a contest where pink and swipping the floors with their bodies is the main idea Gustaph  is slaying it for Belgium at Eurovision with his '90s inspired hit, "Because Of You."The world might have him “going crazy,” but gives back a serious amount of coolness through this song.This should be in the top 10.

SAM RYDER - MOUNTAIN

 Don't get me wrong i think Sam Ryder has a great voice, i just don't like very much his singles.Tonight is the Eurovision final and as usual the host country will present her last year's contestant brand new single.Along with "Spaceman" Sam Ryder will perform his brand new single "Mountain" a eurovion-ish song that will occupy the charts for a short period of time mostly in the Uk only to be replaced by the winning song right after.Sam said of the song, which has already become a fan favourite at gigs: “Mountain, it’s about perseverance, conquering and overcoming what life throws your way.”.Oh well...

MEDUZA - FRIENDS (EXTENDED MIX)

 Meduza are following the demands of the times for at least two new songs every month (sometimes more) in order to keep up with dance music. That fact shows two things...First how easy is with technology and the recycle method to produce new music and secondly how easily are consumed and thrown away by the market.In case something becomes a trending hit then mission accomplished.Djing in the biggest clubs is the main income and a good one for names like Meduza.Well their brand new single "Friends" has the trademarkt sound by the Italians so it's easily recognizable.

CALVIN HARRIS & ELLIE GOULDING - MIRACLE (DAVID GUETTA EXTENDED REMIX)

 Is it going to be a fifth week for "Miracle" on the top of the Uk chart?Probably even though David Kushner's "Daylight" is so close that nobody can be sure at that point.Either way "Miracle" is already the biggest hit for both Calvin and Ellie in the Uk and that doesn't changes.And if the remixes for the song are going to be released almost every week the streak of success might be expanded.What a bigger weapon for the hit single than a remix by David Guetta himself who is always present in these cases.This remix is going to be all over the place this summer...

SUB FOCUS ft HAYLA - I FOUND YOU

 London-based DJ Nicolaas Douwma, aka Sub Focus premiered a new song "I Found You" ahead of the release of his brand new album "Evolve" out tomorrow.Initially, he planned to feature Becky Hill on the track but she was not available to join in the song.And who's a great vocalist like Becky? Of course Hayla makes "I Found You" sound as brilliant as was intented to making Sub Focus album a must have in your collection this year since it has great tracks.

KAARIJA - CHA CHA CHA (REGGAE MIX)

 Today we have the second semifinal in the Eurovision song contest so the final list will completed for this Saturday's great final.One of the songs that are going to battle Loreen's "Tattoo" for the first place is Finland's entry with Kaarija's "Cha Cha Cha".I m really not a fan of the song but this rave beat seems to make eurofans crazy.The stage performance although is very good but "Cha Cha Cha" is not going to be even if it wins a song that will survive time.But as always something happens on the way as this reggae version of the song drops and reveal a totally new song that could easily make it through all summer long.Wear a swimm suit grab a pina colada and cha cha cha with the waves..
