First performed on October 24, 2026, at Kai Tak Stadium during his After Hours Til Dawn Tour "Hong Kong" is finally released.Built around a prominent sample of Faye Wong’s 1993 classic "Seasonal Wind" also known as "Monsoon", the song blends Wong’s distinctive Cantonese vocals with The Weeknd’s moody, nocturnal sound. "Hong Kong" feels like a love letter to the city’s cultural identity. It also highlights The Weeknd’s growing interest in creating music inspired by the places he visits on tour. Rather than simply adding a guest vocalist, it uses a piece of Hong Kong’s musical history to create a sense of place, longing and nostalgia. Not to mention that this old school RnB sound not only suits The Weeknd but it's also very much needed in music.A sunshine in this week's new releases.
