LANA DEL REY - FIRST LIGHT

 This is the first time in a long time that i hear a different song from Lana Del Rey and the reason is.....James fucking Bond. Many musicians have recorded James Bond theme songs which never saw the light of day and this one is one of them.Lana Del Rey previously recorded a song for the film "Spectre" but the track was rejected by the Bond producers.It was Daniel Craig’s fourth outing as Bond however, she lost out to Sam Smith.Now, she’s getting a second stab at the Bond theme, with "First Light", which serves as the theme track to the upcoming James Bond video game "007: First Light".This sounds definitely as a Bond theme and also marks the first time in a long time that i will add a Lana Del Rey in my current playlist.There's some kind of light that she can sing something different...

 In saviours year 1990 Nomad released one of the significant 90s dance anthems that got the timeless label ever since.And since recycling is a field that many djs are using in order to cause a bang Joel Corry and fast rising singer RAHH made a 20s rework which is a smart and very commercial move.Joel Corry used to be the golden hitmaker in the Uk few years back but he lost his touch ever since.In my ears this a ready radio powerplay and a dance floorfiller i would love to hear all summer long.Is this his comeback chart hit?Probably but it's too early to be sure and things are fluid...

MADONNA - I FEEL SO FREE

 Some of you have been waiting for this eagerly and i totally get it cause after all she is Madonna.I m pretty sure that both her and Stuart Price had Donna Summer's "I Feel Love" while making it."I Feel So Free" has the basic structure of Summer's iconic classic but with the signature of Madonna's new persona.A persona that invented for "Confesions On The Dancefloor II" that will be released on July 3.Some say that it also reminds "French Kiss" by Lil Louis a mega blaster from the past but i find no resemblance in my opinion.Fans are crazy right now and probably never read what i wrote here and that's totally understood.After all Madonna is an icon no matter what she releases.I like the song in general and i will stop here.

 Sombr's "Potential" was pretty much shown from the start and his course in music shows that he is here to stay.The 20-year-old, real name Shane Boose, penned the track himself and gave audiences a first taste of it during his Coachella Weekend One performance."Potential" is the follow-up to "Homewrecker" and it's an uptempo alt-pop jam that will offer him another chart hit as he is preparing his new album.I like what he is doing promoting one song at the time in order to release an album with already hits in it in order for someone to buy.This is the right stragedy and Sombr is making all the right steps.

KATSEYE - PINKY UP

 Katseye are not a K-pop group, but of all the global acts backed by K-pop agencies they’re by far the buzziest."Gabriela" is by far their best song till now and it should have been a number one song on the charts but it has failed.Even so that was a song that you could hear over and over again in the future without missing it's freshness.I can't say the same thing about their new release. Alongside new single "Pinky Up" Katseye are poised to conquer a huge stage at Coachella minus member Manon, who remains on hiatus and has been rumored to leave the group.The new song mixes early-2010s Eurodance tropes with the group’s trademark engagement bait approach with the melodic parts being the most interesting element of the song.This is what youngsters will embrace cause the girls are hot right now but it will fail my playlist (sorry about that).

DEXTER & THE MOONROCKS - FREAKIN OUT

 While Ella Langley rules the USA charts making her the biggest success so far in 2026 her crossover on the other side of the Atlantic is rather explosive too making me wonder for how much longer country music will dominate music.But on the other side in places like Texas there are some different sounds that are interesting enough.Dexter and the Moonrocks are an American rock band from Abilene, Texas formed in 2021. Combining elements of country and rock music, they have described their genre as "Western space grunge" and their first chart hit "Freakin Out" is pretty much exactly that.The song incorporates elements of 1990s alternative rock and 2000s pop-punk and emo. It has been described as "sadboi country" but i will call it a southern Nirvana vibe.. It’s not "radio-safe" pop it’s more like a high-octane rock song that just happens to have a hook you can’t shake.For some reason i dope this one...

 Sometimes it takes sometime in order to gain the hit status and maybe one of this cases is Talia Mar. Talia is a singer, songwriter and content creator who first emerged as a compelling new voice in pop music in 2016 with her debut single "Stolen:. She has had commercial success starring on Sigala’s hit single "Stay The Night", which peaked at No.11 on the UK Singles Chart, cementing her status as both a pop artist and a crossover success.Her brand new single "Lady" immediately stormed in to the Top 10 on iTunes upon release and will probably gain a Uk top 40 new entry next week. The mid tempo RnB influenced sound of the song is another proof that the genre is getting an upgrade in people's musical taste.

There is always the Evanescence way asking you exactly that in their brand new single."Who Will You Follow" opens with a softer and more introspective tone, where Amy Lee ’s voice dominates accompanied by simple piano melodies till the explosion burst the song into a rock fireball.Evanescence are making a strong return to the discography with their new single taking from the upcoming album "Sanctuary" which is expected to be released on June 5.In fact the group released two new songs but this one is the official new single.The quiet and explosive moments, an element that has characterized Evanescence 's most iconic work is still there with Amy Lee's voice as good as ever.

LADY GAGA & DOECHII - RUNAWAY

 Finally a good Friday when it comes to new releases apart from the fact if we have reasons to put them in our playlist or not.An anticipated film like "The Devil Wears Prada 2" always needs a good soundtrack with big names on it and  Lady Gaga with Doechii is a good start.Although "Runaway" is more fit for Doechii's brand the Gaga factor is present and for sure it will cause quite a buzz for a couple of days but apart from that this is a weak production.The powerhouse pop/hip-hop duo will not leave a mark in years to come but fans will be pleased anyway.Gaga really shifted her vocals for this one and at first you barely think it is her singing in the chorus but she is and you can use it if you are up to for a catwalk.

 It's common every now and then artists through social media to make an impact and become hitmakers in different parts of the world.The newest find is DA TI an independent music social media creator with no more info for now with his newest song "Take Me There" trending a lot.This is a low-key, atmospheric track that leans into emotion rather than complexity. Built on a soft, mid-tempo beat, the song blends elements of chill pop creating a hazy, almost dreamlike soundscape.The production is minimal but effective. Kanye West as as he is called now Ye is a complex personality with many psychiatric issues that over the years created more downs in his music career than ups.When he first started i thought that blending electronic music with rap made him a genious but after that he turned more to lyrical rap music with no particular interest in music forms.Well after years of false starts and delays he finally released his brand new album "Bully" with a really impressive song in it as well a spectacular live show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles."All The Love" is a great song that reminds the early Kanye West stuff that made him a superstar and has a watch out star in it.Andre Troutman is the breakout artist of "Bully". He is the Music Director for YE and worked on a number of songs and appears on "White Lines" and "All the Love," using the Talkbox. Speaking of the Talkbox, he is also the cousin of Roger Troutman, from the early-’80s funk band Zapp.In a period that rap music with all side genres are on the downfall this is a great sample of artistic excelence.

 Once again and this time due to the Catholic Easter the new releases not only are few but they also have limited interest.One of them is OneRepublic's new single straight out of their upcoming seventh studio album and it's called "Need Your Love".There is an old saying that goes like among the blind the one eye rules and that's exactly what's happening here.Thematically, the song revolves around the value of love in a world full of material and superficial motivations and although you don't call it a bad song it's interest is limited.For now you can use it if it fits to your playlist but when major releases next week will emerge soon it will be forgotten.

  Just six weeks after "Days of Ash" here comes a second surprise Ep by the greatest timeless band in the world U2."Easter Lily" EP is a more reflective set of songs emerging from a more personal, private place that some may retreat to in such times exploring themes of friendship, loss, hope, and ultimately, renewal."Song for Hal" is a COVID-19 lockdown lament, with The Edge on lead vocals, written for the band's friend, the music-maker, Hal Willner, who would have turned 70 a few days later on Easter Monday and passed away almost 6 years ago to the day.U2 doesn't need hits or releases to keep them up with what's going on to the music industry.They just make what comes up from deep inside cause they have proven what they are.

 Since they both gained reputation in music especially in 2026 why not work together.Ravyn Lenae's "Love Me Not," from the 2024 album "Bird's Eye", became an unlikely slow-burn crossover hit while Dominic Fike's "Babydoll" released 6 years ago is entering the Uk top 10 this week while his latest single "White Keys" might just do the same soon enough.No need to say that this collaboration between them for "Reputation" is also a potential crossover hit.And not only that Ravyn Lenae released also a second song "Bobby" increasing the interest to the max."Reputation" is an acoustic ballad about a crumbling relationship that will be embraced by radios in no time (personal opinion) and before the summer starts will chart in the highest positions.

BTS with J-HOPE - SWIM (AFROBEAT REMIX)

 BTS didn't receive the long wanted number one spot in the Uk with their brand new single but they did once more in the USA.Not only the song was released in different versions with lead vocals by each member but now we have "Swim" remixes in many different genres for each member.From slow RnB to Afrobeat and from alternative to techno.And this is what i call promotion forcing the super fans in buying all of them.BTS’s new remix album "Keep Swimming" contains nine tracks in total, including the original version of "Swim" and the instrumental version of the song.The remaining seven tracks are remixes with "diverse charms" called remixes that reflect each of the seven members musical tastes.This is what J-HOPE likes for the song and i think it's a better version than the original.
