PRINCE - BABY DOLL

 Prince's vault is full of treasures for them to be fully exposed (i hope) at some time. For many years we knew that there was a demo somewhere for a Prince and Kylie Minogue collab that didn't happen in the form we wanted to."Baby Doll" is an unreleased track recorded in late April - early May 1992 at Sydney.The lyrics were written by Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue and the track was intended for her. The song is listed here as a "Prince and the New Power Generation" track, as Kylie Minogue did not re-recorded it and the only version that is known to exist is by the full band with Prince on lead vocals.. Apparently, this recording of "Baby Doll" was supposed to be included on a 2022 archival compilation that the Prince Estate axed for some reason. It has that bit of disco flair that Minogue was cranking out on her own records around the same time.Well that song leaked online and with great pleasure is here for all you Purple one fans.

Allison sadly died in May following treatment for stage 4 cancer. This single is dedicated not just in memory of Ali, but for every person who has been affected by cancer.  Selecting new tunes can sometimes be so easy and with no regrets in posting them like this one.The famous French DJ duo, composed of Dorian and César, are back with this brand new track written in collaboration with American singer and songwriter  Justin Jesso, who is known in particular for being the voice of Kygo's track "Stargazing" released in 2017.This is a super catchy track with house, pop and rock sounds, that has written all over it the hit label.It might take a little time for "Over You" to be all over the radios due to Christmas spirit but it will.Mind my words...

ROBBIE WILLIAMS - FORBIDDEN ROAD ( FROM BETTER MAN OST)

 It's a rather bold idea to make a biopic using a chimpanzee as the main character portraying no other than mr "Me And My Monkey" Robbie Williams.It's like The Planet Of The Apes live on a concert stage that may leed to some Oscar nominees.The film "Better Man" is a semi-biographical film about British pop singer Robbie Williams and "Forbidden Road" is the brand new single and the main anthem for Robbie.Paramount has faith in pushing the tune out to voters and promoting the track with their trailers and promos. Of course there are no guarantees, but he has a stellar reputation and a terrific ability to entertain and that could help his case. Rob stands a great chance of being shortlisted at the Golden Globes, too.As for the song this country-folk ballad will take some time in growing in to you with this guitar intro reminding somehow "Dust In The Wind" by Kansas.
