 Last year Empire Of The Sun returned to music after eight years with their album "Ask That God" which passed with minimum reactions both for or album or the singles.This year  they’ve released a deluxe edition of "Ask That God" with two new bonus tracks, and one of those tracks is an unlikely team-up with Fleetwood Mac legend Lindsey Buckingham.Buckingham doesn’t seem too heavily involved in Empire Of The Sun’s new track "Somebody’s Sun" as he slides in towards the end of the song with his smooth but authoritative vocals.Interesting release but not as powerful expected.

Έχουν περάσει κιόλας 10 χρόνια από την κυκλοφορία του πρώτου album των Empire Of The Sun που είχε τρελάνει κόσμο τότε. Βέβαια η συνέχεια δεν ήταν ανάλογη αν και περιμέναμε πολλά από αυτούς. Αυτό το πρώτο album λοιπόν επανακυκλοφορεί και μάλιστα και σε ένα πορτοκαλί βινύλιο το οποίο θα περιλαμβάνει και το "Chrysalis" ένα τραγούδι που δεν κατέληξε τότε στο album αλλά μπορείτε να το ακούσετε σήμερα...

Εντελώς απροειδοποίητα οι Empire Of The Sun κυκλοφόρησαν ένα Ep με δύο νέα τραγούδια ένα εκ των οποίων είναι και το "Way To Go". Νομίζω πως όλοι όσοι αγαπάνε το duo θα ικανοποιηθούν απόλυτα από το αισθητικό αποτέλεσμα αφού είναι γεμάτο από τα στοιχεία που τους έκαναν ξεχωριστούς από την πρώτη στιγμή που τους ακούσαμε. Δεν θα μιλήσω για εμπορική επιτυχία που μακάρι να έρθει αλλά για το γεγονός ότι μας προσφέρουν τραγούδια που μπορούν εύκολα να αγαπηθούν...
