RUFUS DU SOL - NEXT TO ME

 Now that we know Rufus Du Sol are "Alive" we find out that they are in the best shape with their new single "Next To Me". I m not a big fan of multiple singles but it's a fact nowdays and i have to accept this. I like things come naturally and in order but "Next To Me" gives so much pleasure hearing it that i can forgive the music industry for acting this way. If you want to make the rest of the summer worth hearing this should be on repeat...

BILLY IDOL - BITTER TASTE

 For us the elder Billy Idol is a legend. He offered pure rock at the 80's and made American airplay rock a genre when the term was excisting. And if the young people prefer Ariana Grande or The Weeknd or all kind of rappers Billy gave so much that few can accomplish. After his collaboration with Miley Cyrus he decided to release a 4 track Ep in September called "The Roadside Ep" and the first taste from this is the excellent "Bitter Taste". This country rock gem that reminds Johnny Cash can produce chills to all those who appreciate good music with no strings attached. He is an IDOL!!!

MAJESTIC & NIGHTCRAWLERS - LOSING MY MIND

 Majestic after the revival of the Boney M classic moves on to a collab with the dance legends Nightcrawlers. They both enjoyed huge success at the charts and "Losing My Mind" is aiming for the exact same thing. The recipe sounds so much like "Push The Feeling On" and that could work either good or bad. The recycling in music cuts both ways and we ll just have to wait and see how it would work in the battlefield.

 Justib Bieber named it his favourite track for the summer and of course he jumped in for this version of "Essence". Wizkid is storming up the charts with this one and sooner than you think it will hit the highest positions. The truth is that Justin Bieber is quite right and yes it is one of the sexiest summerish tracks you can hear these days. And because we need sounds like these you better pump up the volume to Wizkid's best track so far...

220 KID & LANY - STUPID FEELINGS

 There is a whole bunch of new dance producers in the Uk at the moment that they are waiting for their moment to create a massive hit in the island that will make them worldwide artists and 220 Kid is one of them. The last time i wrote about him he almost did it with his previous single even though he already has a number 1 hit as a remixer to the Nathan Evans "Wellerman" massive hit. Now together with Lany on vocals he is aiming for a top 10 maybe in the Uk since "Stupid Feelings" sounds like it could make it.

KYGO ft ZOE WEES - LOVE ME NOW

 Today as it will be announced by the BBC Ed Sheeran will break his own record with 7 weeks at the top of the Uk charts.Many wanted to step down Ed but it still looks strong enough to hold for an eighth after the remix release he announced with some famous drill rappers. Kygo seems to be far away from his self producing recycled music with the same ideas and the same production. This tropical feeling is no longer a trend but his new single insists on that making good only to the upcoming Zoe Wees from Germany who seems to have future in the music industry.

LIZZO ft CARDI B - RUMORS

 I like Lizzo. I really do for all the image and statement she represents. Last year she made a breakthrough in music out of nowhere and the anticipated return with something new is over. Listening to her new single i try to figure out what she is trying to present us.The one thing for sure is something different but i really don't know if "Rumors" could work. I get the lyrics i get the statement the song has it's moments but i m not satisfied with the result. The addition of Cardi B in it makes it attractive as a billboard but the truth is i was expecting so much more...

 Tiesto has some more business with the charts. After the hude success he received few months ago he recruits a great melody and Karol G for his new single. In my ears it sounds a hit all over the radio and the charts and one of the songs that will keep us company until x-mas at least. "Don't Be Shy" has the old school feeling of the dance hits that comes back more and more. No regrets for this one and my modjo in music rings all the bells telling me this will be huge...

 From the highlands of Arcadia close to the latest wildfires in my country the blog keeps providing the latest music and news. And now that i am at Arcadia the band members of Duran Duran formed some many decades ago it feels suitable to make a reference to the group that formed new romantic pop like no other and still does. The new single from the "Future Past" album is "More Joy" and it brings back memories from the early Duran Duran days. No matter what position to the charts we ll see from groups like that i will always make posts for them cause their music brought me blogging these days...

 Yes there is a recipe to make a hit and Joel Corry seems to know it. The idea of sampling a not many years ago hit which is currently trending on Tik Tok and blending another dance hitmaker Jax Jones with the voices of Charli XCX and Saweetie can mean only one thing. Instant hit!!! We all love "Alors On Danse" by Stromae and you 're going to love it once again as "Out Out" will kick your butts far far away and dance you to the edge of the year. Now who is going to beat this in the Uk charts?

ELTON JOHN & DUA LIPA - COLD HEART (PNAU REMIX)

It's a great privilidge for anyone to work with sir Elton John and Dua lipa is now one among them. This collab is a medley of two Elton John hits "Sacrifice" and "Rocketman" in a combo remix by Pnau. I remember the week "Sacrifice" was number one back in 1990 i was in London and i bought a copy of the single which had two copies inside the sleeve (lucky me). The outcome is really modern, perfect and all i needed as the first new release of the week.Need to say that this one sounds like a hit?

ADAM LEVINE - GOOD MOOD

 Adam Levine is in a very "Good Mood" probably after watching "Paw Patrol" so he decided to join in the OST to bring this mood to all the music lovers. The frontman of Maroon 5 may have a solo hit in his hand even though the soundtrack songs have failed the last decades to produce mega hits except maybe Justin's "Can't Stop This Feeling" if i recall corectly. Old school pop with instruments in the front line and a good composition...

 While Claptone is being remixed by Paul Woolford for his latest single he is remixing Faithless for another stunning remix of "Innanadance". After the superb remix by Meduza this one is a dj weapon for massive club feeling. With all these remixes the latest Faithless single is surely one of the club anthems of the year and it makes me wonder once again why isn't this one high on the charts? Wake up this is a banger!!!
