SOMBR - POTENTIAL

 Sombr's "Potential" was pretty much shown from the start and his course in music shows that he is here to stay.The 20-year-old, real name Shane Boose, penned the track himself and gave audiences a first taste of it during his Coachella Weekend One performance."Potential" is the follow-up to "Homewrecker" and it's an uptempo alt-pop jam that will offer him another chart hit as he is preparing his new album.I like what he is doing promoting one song at the time in order to release an album with already hits in it in order for someone to buy.This is the right stragedy and Sombr is making all the right steps.

SOMBR - HOMEWRECKER

 It's very difficult many times to make a true estimate on a single unless you let time to work on it. So at first i m not too enthusiastic nor disappointed on the new Sombr single.What i felt with "Undressed" from the very first moment didn't happen here.That doesn't change the fact that i think he is very talented and "Homewrecker" might prove me wrong (well sort of).This is his first new song and music video of the year and it explores the messiness of love, especially when you love someone who isn’t yours.His European tour is already sold out while once again, SOMBR is the sole writer and co-producer of his latest song, underscoring the weight of this talent. In addition to his Best New Artist GRAMMY nomination, he’s currently up for two prestigious BRIT Awards: International Artist of the Year, and International Song of the Year for "Undressed".

SOMBR - 12 TO 12

 Sombr continues to throw around new songs while both "Undressed" and "Back To Friends" continue to dominate the world charts.I really don't know if there is room for any Sombr new song no matter how good it is.With his new single "12 to 12" Sombr brings his melancholic indie rock to the dancefloors, without losing his signature sadness.Quite sunny, rhythmic and almost innocently happy this is definitely something to keep in your playlist while Sombr continues to show signs that he is here to stay.

SOMBR - WE NEVER DATED

 The new alternative power is Sombr right now and how far he 'll get is still undetermined.Both "Undressed" and "Back To Friends" are gearing up each day making him one of the nice surprises this year.There are still much to prove like other artists of his generation and his brand new "We Never Dated" is another glimpse of what he is up to.With Beach Boys-esque vocal harmonies i m not quite sure if this one is supposed to add more to his uprising success rather to sustain his presence in the music industry cause multiple singles will promote the release of an album.Needed something more to tell you the truth.

RACHEL CHINOURIRI , SOMBR - ALL I EVER ASKED

 This Lola Young sound which is trending on many songs and artists makes another trending song a candidate for a 2025 hit although the song was released back in 2022.But a revambed version with a star in the making Sombr gives "All I Ever Asked" a Uk top 40 this week for Rachel Chinouriri.The song is a gentle, summery pop track with elements of indie and synthpop and a gorgeous chorus that soars into a thing of true beauty. Exactly was is the sound of today that's why she was nominated as best new artist on the 2025 Brit Awards.Her debut album "What a Devastating Turn of Events" which received critical acclaim and peaked at number 17 on the UK Albums Chart is out there and expect a big boost over the next weeks for the British artist.

SOMBR - UNDRESSED

 Make no mistake that Sombr will be big this year. The Timothee Chamalet look alike singer not only rides the charts with "Back To Friends" but his latest single "Undressed" is for me even better and catchier.With all the big hits remaining for weeks on the charts artists like Sombr and Alex Warren are the breathe of fresh air this year and will stay with us at least until the end of the summer.Yes the Tik Tok algorithm was kind to Sombr building him a growing fan base but you won't stay for long unless you prove your talent.I sense that Sombr has it and "Undressed" will be eventually big this year.

 While Alex Warren dominates the Uk chart and eventually the same will happen in the States and all over the world it seems that with him we have the first breakthrough artist for 2025."Ordinary" make no mistake will be one of the biggest hits of the year while his previous release "Carry You Home" is ready to rebound.Another breakthrough artist that recently makes waves and bubbling hot from a Tik Tok fan base is Sombr the project of 19-year-old breakthrough singer-songwriter, Shane Boose. With several releases the first months of the year it seems that this one "Back To Friends" could make him ride the charts the next days and who knows what else is coming for him.With 33 million Spotify streams and debuts on three Billboard charts Sombr is ready and upcoming.
